Stone bridge country club is a beautiful venue, attended for a wedding and it was a nice layout. A lot of long island venues are old or have a funky smell from being old (yes I learned this when wedding venue shopping) lol any who stone bridge have a great layout everything is on one floor for the cocktail hour to the ballroom. The food was just good, it was typical wedding food nothing crazy. This would be a great place for a winter wedding as the fireplace in the cocktail hour room is gorgeous and would be beautiful during the holiday months. read more

Went to a couple of functions recently. Weddings twice in the last 5 months .. and food and service is very good but the place, physically, is looking very tired and neglected. Filthy awnings over windows outside, Weeds growing all over especially in parking lot, dead and burned grass, broken lights up the driveway, bathroom needed a good heavy cleaning and floors in bar area were all buckled up .. not a well maintained facility to be honest. Time for a facelift!!! read more

Stonebridge Country Club was the perfect location for our wedding. I only received positive, helpful vibes from all the staff there who were always eager to make everything about our event absolutely perfect. That's the kind of place I want to give my money to! Gorgeous venue, inside and out (especially the bridal suites...WOW!!! 4 rooms and 2 baths.) We utilized the grand piano in the entrance hall which they amplified for us for cocktail hour. The food was good. Staff, on the other hand left much to be desired. I stood at the bar for 20 minutes. The bartender never once came over. I even waved. He stared straight past me. That was cocktail hour. Once we got seated, the server, in 4 hours never filled my water glass. He filled half the table and never came back. Salads were great, sirloin was a little over cooked, and the cake was delicious! it's nothing special. THE BEST WEDDING VENUE ON LONG ISLAND. When I say this is the best venue on long island im not kidding. My wife and I got married here this weekend and literally everything was perfect. From the food, to the amazing views, to the absolutely fantastic staff/service everything was on point. We had 6 hot station's and 2 cold stations for cocktail hour along with 12 passed around appetizers. Everything was great. Some of our guests and our favorites were the mussles and fries station, the cuban station, the mini rubans, and the spicy tuna cones. For dinner we had the filet mignon, chicken rosemary, and horseradish crusted salmon. Everything was amazing. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and we had multiple guests approach us and state that this was the best catering hall filet they have ever had. The horseradish crusted salmon was also amazing and is new to their selection. For dessert we did the cheesecake station, waffles station, and fondue station. All were great. The atmosphere is great and perfect for pictures. Staff went above and beyond to make our day great. Terrance and gregg are the best and will help you with anything. Me and my wife looked at 15 venues and we saved the best for last when we landed at Stone Bridge. First to start with what the bride and groom will get.. each of you will get your own bridal suit. Both suites are gorgeous and big, I would highly recommend having getting ready photos done there. After the ceremony there was plenty of room for our families to hangout comfortably while we wrapped up photos and awaited the cocktail hour to start. You will both get the bridal attandant, (we had Dinora) she made it feel like we had 3 bridal attandants each because of how helpful she was. We had roughly 40 family members in the suites after the ceromony and I think at one point Dinora was moving in light speed to be so accomodating to our large family and making sure everything ran smoothly for us. My wife absolutely loved her and couldn't believe how helpful she would have come to be. Dinora's dedication to making your day special is matched by the matradee, Terrance. Our first time to really link up with Terrance was the tasting where he was extremely helpful in guiding us through our menu options. He is so personable and willing to help us that it felt like he was a best friend I had for years. The day of the wedding he made sure we were on time for everything, gave us a private moment in our bridal suite where all the food from the cocktail hour was neatly presented so we can enjoy it all. If I told Terrance on the day of the wedding I needed an organ I think he would have given one to me. He is also in charge of the in house decor of the venue which was absolutely fantastic. The last person I have to mention is Gregg, I think I exchanged roughly 200 emails with Gregg because I am a very hands on person and he was so patient and receptive to all the questions we had. Because of Gregg's knowledge of the venue and the business of event planning he made doing certain things like picking menu cards, colors, seat charts, and other organizational details of the wedding fool proof. There was not one thing we requested that Gregg wasn't able to provide us with. The luckiest part of wedding planning was the day I called him to book our originally date and secured us as customers of Stone Bridge. Now let me briefly say what the guest will have... A great time, great food, and be stunned by the beauty of the venue. Our wedding was 12/2/21 so our guest and families loved the holiday decor in the venue. Next to the main bar their was a tented area that was extremely comfortable and warm considering it was a 40 degree night so there was plenty of room for more guest to spread out. We had the following hot stations which were loved Ship Wrecked(stuff clams, fried Calamari, Clam and Mussel Fri-diavolo) so fresh, not fishy at all. Mulberry Street that had one of the best eggplant rolatinis and extremely tender steak in peppercorn sauce. Orient Express which is so fun and cute how the food is served in little white containers like from an Asian Fusion restaurant. Lastly a pasta station, we had pesto and vodka sauce but I'm sure everything is a great choice. Huge hits from the passed Hors D'oeuvres were mini-beef wellingtons, Seared Ahi Tuna, duck wontons, the other ones were great too those just stand out at the time and Terrance will be extremely helpful when you choose them. The starter was a burrata salad that was given with a decent size ball of burrata that is so delicious!!! Our entrees was the porcini crusted chicken which is presented like a michellen star restaurant and so savory and juicy, the terriaki glazed salmon which once again fresh and not fishy, and lastly a mouth watering braised short rib... Besides the cake we opted to have a passed desserts for our guest, personally I loved the chocolate mousse shooter and the chocolate covered strawberries were so big, juicy and ripe. Was so full from all the great food it was hard to try everything at the end of the night. To seal the deal we opted to have an extra hour of open bar for our guest which was yet another big hit and Stone Bridge took care of piping in fun music to keep the good time rolling. The two bartenders John and Santiago moved so quickly to assure everyone was getting drinks in a quick manner. The clubhouse is beautiful no doubt. The thing I will complain about (and yes this will sound like sour grapes) are the greens on the course. If you like putting through windmills and clown noses then this place is for you. I get multi tiered greens but there are literal mounds and craters (2/3 feet in elevation change) in the middle the greens that you have to putt over/through. I get making it difficult but this is more mini golf putting. read more

I received an email invitation for a Team Building Event. I saw that it was a country club and decided to check it out on yelp of course. Kinda surprised that they would have us come to a wedding venue instead of our main office. I was looking forward to coming here to taste the food. Another surprise .. not impressed .. with the wide variety of choices , I wasn't satisfied. The bacon looked flavorless over cooked and crumbly and they had those eggs that looked like the carton kind at McDonald's. The sausage and French toast were ok. The home fries didn't have seasoning and servers stated they would bring ketchup as multiple people requested but that never happened. The chicken francese was over cooked and kind of bland. The penne a la vodka was dry and bland as well. The ravioli was bland, the garden salad was actually fresh and good with raspberry dressing others seemed to enjoy as well. There was a side of fresh mozzarella & tomatoes. Seems like the baker is different than the cook since the muffins were so moist and flavorful and everyone loved the soft chocolate chip cookies and brownies. They had coffee and tea as self serve at table. Overall, we had a good time since there was a guest speaker with fun activities but the service from the actually employees was unsatisfactory. They offered the ketchup that they didn't follow through on and drinks that they never showed up with and took the food away at noon, knowing that we were there 11-3p so obviously people would go back for seconds. The manager had them put stuff back out so people went back up then they trickled out with one dish at a time so people who already went back ended up seeing others with things they wanted and had to get back on line, very inconvenient. Truly the most incredible venue, with even more incredible staff. From the moment we first reached out to tour, everyone at Stonebridge was kind, welcoming, and accommodating. We worked with Diana, who truly is a fairy godmother. She made every wish I had come true. She is kind, honest, and a true pleasure to work with. She was always smiling, and truly made us feel like family. Tracy was my bridal attendant on the day of my wedding. She was AMAZING. She was so prepared, so kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day. Tracy took care of our entire family from when we started at 6:30am all the way until we left at midnight. She took care of everything, and we never had to worry. When our florist delivered only 4 bridesmaids bouquets and not 5, she and Terrence hand made a 5th bouquet using the others within minutes - and it looked perfect!! She even had a pair of pliers to help close the tricky eyelet clasp on my dress. She was always there to help, and such a positive presence on such a busy day. She kept us on track, and I never once felt rushed or behind. She was a huge reason why the day ran so smoothly. Another huge reason was our Maitre'D, Terrence. He is even more amazing than I ever could have imagined. He orchestrated the day magnificently. Diana, Tracy, and Terrence are the reason our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and I owe all the wonderful memories to them and their incredible team. I cannot say enough amazing things about Stonebridge. I got married last Friday and have not stopped thinking about it. We toured Stonebridge last summer and from the second we walked in, Diana made us feel like family. She is huge reason we decided to book and did not disappoint. She was always there to answer any questions that I had and that my vendors had. My husband and I both got ready in the incredible bridal/groom suites and I would highly recommend. My bridal attendant, Julia, was with me all day and tended to everything we needed. Terrence was absolutely incredible. I would turn around throughout the day and he would be there waiting with a drink or whatever else I needed, before I even said I neeeed anything. He truly made the day run smoothly. The entire staff at Stonebridge is unmatched and I could not be more thankful for them. I had no worries and had the best night of my life thanks to them. There were so many food choices and everything was delicious. We had some pretty rough critics attend our wedding and they had nothing but great things to say about the food. The bar staff was so fun and the drinks were amazing. The venue stands for itself, but the entire staff here really made all of our dreams come true. Wanted to like this place...starting the journey to find a venue for my daughter's wedding in 2023...our time and options are limited so to waste an appointment here was ver disappointing. The place is worn and I would say almost down right dirty...unlike their website you come up to the door and greeted with dirty empty planters...the interior not much better, Stations for the coc food covered with weird faux flowers and greenery...chairs in the outdoor cocktail area had old worn and ding cushions.. The overall vibe was just nasty...the enthusiasm of the person we had our appointment couldn't have been more lack luster...Thought Lessings Group would have a certain standard for their venues. I was considering having a bridal shower luncheon here even though the price per person was higher than average. I decided not to when I got the contract and saw a hidden administrative fee of 20% which I was NOT told about when I spoke to the sales person. So a $40 lunch turns into $60 when you add on the tax, tip and admin fee. Stonebridge is operated by Lessings which owns a few other places so be aware that the admin fee may be applied in their other places too. read more

Just had my sister's bridal shower here last weekend. Their first event back after the COVID-19 crisis. It was a very stressful time for everyone, but Gregg and his team made everything as stress free as possible. We booked this in January, before the pandemic, with Ariana who we met with to finalize the details with two weeks prior to the event. We were very impressed with her professionalism and response to the changing times. We had to make changes in those two weeks - she was quick, responsive and helpful. The day of the event Terrence and the wait staff ensured social distancing measures and keeping everyone properly attired while being kind and welcoming, they kept everyone feeling happy and safe. The room was absolutely beautiful! Also. Let's talk about the food - The Short Ribs are to.die.for. Incredible! I can not say enough good things about the food. We had a sit down meal (as indicated by the current regulations), the short ribs, chicken bruschetta are both delicious options, the mashed potatoes were fluffy and creamy, and the broccolini was fresh and cooked to perfection! This place has no problem taking your money. Went there with a bunch of friends for golfing and we had one person who was gonna walk the course and they wouldn't reimburse the $24 dollars because they said they didn't know how to give the credit back ( It's year 2020 and they don't know how to do credit back on a credit card). Then they tried to avoid the credit by saying the WALKER cannot walk with his group if they are in carts, it will slow the cart golfers down (can't fix stupid). The foursome ahead of us were WALKERS so are they gonna slow everyone behind them down? It's a good thing we didn't decide to all WALK and get all $264 dollars back in our pocket. Awful service. I had a very creepy bartender. I forgot his name but i think it started with a P. He was the CREEPIEST dude you've ever seen, and even went as far as to flirt with the mother of the bride!! Ive never been so UNCOMFORTABLE in my life!!!!!!1!! He also gave me the WRONG DRINK THREE TIMES. I don't know in what world "gin tonic" sounds like "assortment of weird nasty beer," but apparently, it is the bartender's. God help the future mothers of the brides and anyone else who dares attend this country club. read more

I got married here in 2016 and was so disappointed! The venue is beautiful and the bridal suite is gorgeous, but everything seemed to have gone wrong regarding the service and all the arrangements we had made. I had gotten ready there that morning and I was told by the manager that there would be bagels and coffee there for us in the morning. Having been told this none of us had breakfast and everyone was pretty hungry that whole morning because nothing was there. I also didn't see my bridal attendant until I was almost ready and more than half way through getting ready. When I had gotten there no one was even there to greet us. Workers were talking in the bar area and didn't even come out to greet us when they saw us. My maid of honor and I walked upstairs to the bridal suite ourselves. Then, I brought decorations to have been put out in my reception area and things were not put in their place and there were things that they didn't even put out. Things I had spent money on that we never saw again after I had dropped them off. Lastly, I went there and sat with the manager going over all the details and told them I wanted a specific color for my table cloths and napkins, so they could match my theme. The day of my wedding it wasn't what I had asked. My DJ actually came over to ask how I was more than the bridal attendant. I was so disappointed because this venue is extremely expensive and because of how pushy they were making sure they got their money early I expected that they would make sure that everything was perfect. read more
