I'm very disappointed in my haircut. I'm really not hard to please and Sarah cut and styled my hair. When I got home, it looked like it had not even been cut! I couldn't tell at the shop because my hair was wet and I just assumed a good cut because I even had a photo of the way I liked my hair. Needless to say, I won't be back for anymore haircuts! I always get a great cut and color with Jasmine at Pavo! After having one terrible and a couple disappointing experiences with two different stylists at a different, large, supposedly "upscale" salon chain in the area (starts with a "G"), I was ecstatic to find Pavo! It's a classy establishment where they take good care of their clients. I always get a fabulous cut and color every time I go. And the one time I couldn't get an appointment with my usual stylist I still got a great haircut and color from a back up stylist. I've also gotten a massage from Evan and it was one of the best massages ever. The only catch is that he can be busy and it can be a little hard to get an appointment. I have never spent $225 on my hair before to look so bad! First I have never spent this much for a color and cut! (this includes getting my hair done in California )I didn't realize how bad it looked until I got some pictures back from right after my hair was highlighted and cut. The color, which was supposed to be a Full color, left a drastic line in the middle of my hair. The colors did not match at all and the cut was HORIBIBLE!!!!!!!! I haven't had a worse cut in 15years! I went to Pavo today to get an eyebrow and lip wax. I really appreciated that they got me in same day and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Kelsey was the delightful lady that performed the service on my brows and lip. She did an excellent job and was so kind and gentle. I will be going to see her in a few weeks to get a deep cleansing facial, as well. I love my new AVEDA products I purchased also. It amazed me how neat and clean the whole entire place was, too! That's always refreshing!!! It was just a pleasure doing business with this local salon and spa. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. You won't be sorry! I've been a salon customer for several years now and I can't sing the praises of my girl Sarah enough! I enter the building with lifeless hair and then she works her magic and I leave looking fab for weeks! Plus, all their Aveda products are wonderful; the color products are heatless, which is so much healthier for your hair. I work full time so I can't spend 4 hours at the salon during the day, but Sarah works with my schedule to get me in and out quickly every time. I also recently took advantage of one of their spa services. A one-hour massage from Evan was exactly what I needed after a long week! Great haircut by Sarah Coward! I told her that my hair needs more life and movement, and I gave her free reign on what she thought was best for my super thick hair. Sarah is wonderful with thick hair! I also asked for short pieces in the front, and she worked that in and blended it with the rest of the haircut. I appreciate a stylist who can take what I want and make a haircut a better fit with my lifestyle (I airdry my hair and barely style it, so I needed something that looked good without much work). I also loved the head massage, hand massage, and offering a beverage in the beginning. Highly recommend! Also don't forget they only take cash or check tips! read more

I only had to buy some Aveda products this time, but I look forward to scheduling some salon and spa services soon! This is a good location for me, everyone was friendly, and they were well-stocked. Sometimes I pop into an Aveda salon and find that they don't always have all the products, or that they don't have all the sizes, etc. We were in and out of there in less than 5 minutes. read more

I'm currently pregnant & it was a delightful treat! Definitely recommend; for those of you concerned about pain or redness - my skin is pretty sensitive & I experienced none. This review is based only on the hair services I reveived with Jasmine. I went in for all over single process color and a trim. Jasmine was friendly and explained how she would do my color. She applied the color to my hair and then proceeded to cut and style another client while I was processing. When it came time to rinse my color out, she was still busy with the other client and had someone else rinse my hair, and they didn't do the greatest job. Then I had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes for Jasmine to finish with the other client before cutting my hair. In the end, my color was darker than I asked for and I got really crappy service. I will not be returning to the salon. read more

Stellar service, up to date knowledge on fashionable cuts, and my favorite - a desire to give you what you want. Cheyenne does an amazing job with my hair and seems to read my mind when it comes to how I want my hair-- turning it from an unhealthy box dyed, orange split-ended mess to a gorgeously un-brassy ombre! This place actually gets zero stars from me. I went there 3 times - I tried giving it a fair shot but 3 strikes and you're out with me. The last time I went I had my same cut and color done. I was put in a random chair by the wall once my color was on - no drink, no offer of a magazine - and no one checked on me FOR 66 MINUTES!!! I could've spoken up but I thought no let's see how long I'm ignored over here. Worst customer service of any salon I've ever been to. read more

I wanted to love this salon. Not sure if my stylist thought my haircut so easy she didn't have to spend any time on it or what. TERRIBLE. I wanted a bob that had some volume and movement to it. My old haircut had grown out a few months so I wanted similar only a bit shorter. My stylist asked all the right questions so I thought I would be in good hands. She was also really pleasant to talk to. But she basically cut the ends of my hair straight across, defused it a bit, did not check to see if the sides were even, and then let me go with damp hair. OK, I thought maybe I misunderstood and a blow-dry is extra (though it doesn't say that on their list of services). I get home to try and style it myself and I see that there are sections of hair that are uneven. There's no shape to the cut, no volume, it looks like I went to Fantastic Sam's which would have been cheaper. The Aveda products are great but investment in the service was not worth it for me. I was hoping to have a salon I could call home when I come back to my hometown unfortunately I will have to look elsewhere. read more
