I schedule my next grooming a month in advance each time and wasn't advised Ananda was no longer there until I arrived for my appointment in April. I was very hesitant to let someone new groom my dog but was assured the owner knew how to cut him the way I liked and that she wasn't going anywhere so he'd have a consistent groomer. I shared pictures of inspo and detail on how I wanted him cut but when I picked him up he looked nothing like what I asked. I didn't make a fuss and just figured maybe it was my direction. The second time I again shared what i wanted and referenced the photos also sharing what I didn't like from the previous experience. This time, he came out looking worse. His face looked like a lemur but with a double chin of hair. Again, super far off from what I expected and I was immediately unhappy. Not to mention, at this appointment they raised their price again for the 3rd time in less than a year. I paid, tipped and went home. The more I looked at my dog the more disappointed I was to where I had to put clothes on him to help the bad cut. Finally, I decided to message the groomer and express my disappointment and asked if she could fix it before our vacation the upcoming weekend. When I took him in, the energy was off. It was as if she wasn't upset with me for asking her to fix the cut she messed up on. No apology or anything. I knew at that moment he wouldn't be returning here. Very disappointed in my service after being a returning customer every single month for the past 2 years. And then, I hadn't cancelled my upcoming appointment yet but I received a text from Barkingham saying due to "unforeseen circumstances" they cancelled Rocky's next appointment lol he wasn't returning anyway (clearly) but it's the energy I was referring to as if I did something wrong by nicely and respectfully sharing my dissatisfaction with a service I paid $80 for. Again, just extremely disappointed that I even gave this business my money had I known that I would be treated this way for voicing that I didn't like how they cut my dog when it wasn't what I asked for. If this is how customers will be treated I definitely recommend taking your business elsewhere. It's not right. The owners response is odd. I'm glad I have screenshot photos to show her actual response with no apology or offer for corrective appointment. It was me asking for it. No apology was provided when I reached out and no apology was provided in person. When I brought him to his first appointment after Ananda left and I was made aware in that moment I was assured you as the owner knew exactly how to cut him and exactly what I liked. The owner assured me he was in good hands and she wasn't going anywhere. So this response is odd. And a different groomer is for a sure a better fit and that was already my decision to make. However, paying $80 for an uneven cut with my dog looking like a lemur wasn't going to suffice so I asked to just have him evened out all around. Pictures won't even show how he was all chopped up under his neck. 1 photo is before he was corrected after the terrible cut and it's clear he looks choppy and not like I asked. The photos the owner mentioned are "after" the corrective cut are from a previous grooming clearly because how did his fur magically grow back in all around his face? This is false advertisement and I never consented to having these photos taken or posted online. Again, as all potential clients can see none of the response was ever communicated to me in the texts of our communication shown or in person hence my review. I've referred a number of people to this establishment and will ensure I provide everyone an update on this experience.

I love that this place keeps them in a suite together so they can stay since they do have a bit of anxiety when they get separated. I love that they also make sure the puppies are vaccinated before boarding and everything is up to date. A lot of places don't tend to check on that stuff but I love that they do here! 10/10 would recommend!

The staff was courteous and professional on the phone and in person. We were greeted promptly upon arriving and we were introduced to our groomer almost instantly. The groomer was very sweet and did exactly what I asked for. The entire process took about an hour, which was less than the estimated time. I am so happy that we finally have a quality groomer for my dog! They even have adorable clothes and shoes for dogs. The icing on the cake was meeting the owner, Sydni. She is down-to-earth, kind, and attentive. She took time to talk to my children and I, and made us feel welcome and appreciated. We will definitely be back!

HPR just celebrated their 10 year anniversary and we are one of their long-term clients who have been there the entire time! Not only is there daycare available starting at 6am, which is phenomenal for those of us who start their day early, but also birthday pawtys, boarding, grooming, and training. My dogs have done it all and they get so excited when it's time to play!! Daycare packages offer financial savings, and they also have rewards that are basically converted into cash towards purchases. The staff can be contacted via text or email. If a phone call is needed, I can reach out or sometimes the groomer will call with questions. Highly recommend to give Henderson Pet Resort a try! Easy drop off and pick up with short-term parking up front. The staff can also help bring the dogs in and out, if needed. Behavioral evaluation is a first step, plus shot records; ask the front desk for more info. But once a customer, it's easy to upload most recent shot records to the files.

I'm very torn about this place…read more Let me start out by saving David at the front desk is amazing and has our blessings and has been so helpful to us. Now: storytime. Our doggo started having seizures and we brought him in. We had video of it, there wasn't any doubt or concern that we were drug seekers. Dog was present, got lab work, etc, etc. Paid out the butt. Every 2 weeks the dog had seizures like clockwork (even once the meds were in), just slightly less severe. We called every time he had one--as they asked us to--and we never got calls back. Finally after repeated frustrating calls we heard back. This cycle repeated over a couple of months. Finally doc added a 2nd medication. Picked it up. It was the wrong med. Disclosure--I'm a people doctor of undisclosed specialty (I don't it share on these kinds of formats). I recognized it as the wrong med, called after hours expecting to leave a message. Their sister location at Horizon and Horizon has different hours and answered, and they swapped it out without hesitation for us. Great job by them. Still having seizures. Called. Again no call back. The meds at the clinic or through their preferred mail order pharmacy are about $350 per month. At a local pharmacy they're $40. We asked for hard copies to take to the pharmacy, we did get through to David, and he let us know when to come in and get them. Another disclosure: One medication is a controlled substance. One is not. Picked up the hardcopies. Controlled sub written for 30 days. I expected that, everyone in this God-forsaken state is afraid of it. The NOT-controlled substance was written for 15 day supply. I asked for more. They came back with "it's a controlled substance, so..." No. It is not. I explained that. You can legally get an entire year's worth. They then so generously bumped it to a 3 week supply and acted like they were going way out of their way to do so. Note, I never mentioned one time that I wanted more of the actual controlled substance. Thankfully you can fill the entire prescription at once when paying cash, but the overall quantity is still reduced compared to the other medication. Just overall, very frustrating. I can't honestly recommend them. Will try their sister clinic in the future and see how they do.

I called 5/15/17 and Chad made the appointment for 5/23/17 between 2pm-3pm. At the initial call, all seemed well. Chad offered that grooming can include cuts. I told him great, my dog loves to be shaved for his summer cut. In his youth, he was a Blue Ribbon Show Dog so he is very well behaved. I adopted him when the owner moved on to different breeds and I used to take him with me to all my job sites that I worked. As for me, it's important that I find a good mobile groomer because I tore my back up and can barely stand or lean over to bath or shave him. Chad never showed, never called and never returned either of my two messages looking for him during the appointment window. I just don't understand the lack of communication. I trusted that I would receive the same service in his Yelp reviews. I wrote this so future customers can get a better follow through on his commitments.
