Went here to get my cat groomed and it was the worst experience I've ever had. When I first brought my cat in I asked for a wash and simple cut/trim they took her in and I sat down. As I was sitting I noticed all the dogs barking at my cat and jumping at it and the owner wasn't paying attention or doing anything. I guess he noticed me looking and then rudely asked me to leave, I told him that I'd prefer to stay and he then yelled at me and told me that I was making the dogs bark. So I left and came back to get my cat, the owner was gone and a young woman told me that they accidentally broke her collar. I payed and left and when I got home to see my cat they shaved all of her hair off and gave her a "lion cut". Her fur looked so choppy and when I let her out of the cage she looked like she was terrified. read more

I had an appointment today for 7am. When I arrived, I left my dogs in the truck to go inside and check in. I told the guy I was there to check in my dogs and told him I had two doodles. he instantly raised his eyebrows and made a face. I asked him if there was something wrong and he said doodles are a lot of work. I said do you not want to do them, and he said no I will do them but I'm not sure how they will come out. Thats all I needed to hear to say forget it I can tell you don't want to do them I will bring them somewhere else. He said that was fine. I let him know I will be writing a review on yelp, and he told me that's fine a lot of people don't like us anyways. Well, I can see why, they obviously don't know what they're doing and the attitude from him was appalling. I'm glad I went in to check it out before dropping my dogs off. As a business owner myself I would never speak to a client the way he spoke to me. read more

I have been taking my two shih tzus here for a few months now. I moved about half an hour away but it's always well worth the drive! For $35 each they always come home happy and pretty, and Samy is always super accommodating and even takes walk ins! Super friendly staff that really loves their animals. my groomer Brandi and been taking care of Bingo every since I moved to Las Vegas. I have always loved her work and my Yorkippoo is not the easiest to work with. It's been four years since Brandi has been grooming him and I am always pleased. I love he gets to socialize with other dogs he's learning to be more friendly towards other dogs and he looks great!! Brandi puts a feather on his ear and I am always complemented when I walk him. You with negative interviews, I feel sorry for your bad experience maybe you should give Brandi a try!! Took in my English bulldog for bath,nails clipped, and ears cleansed. I got him back really strange and nervous.. On the way home in the car I noticed him having a hard time breathing. We got home and he just wanted to lay down.. Long story short took him to the animal hospital and he was diagnosed with pneumonia. (Water in his lungs). We've been going to Samy's for years and have loved the dogs' grooming every time. Our dogs have included two Bichons, two labradoodles, two Maltese and a terrier. Samy and his crew always follow our instructions/requests. Moreover, the dogs do not balk going through the front door, as they have done in the past at chain-pet store groomers. And no wonder; the place is happy, the holding cages are in full view of the salon area and frequently the dogs are allowed to walk around and play with one another on the open floor, a joyful sight! read more

Our groomer recently relocated to this place and we fallowed along she does such a great job with our doodle we didn't want to change groomers, she was at Petco and I felt every time he came back from grooming at Petco he was very tired exhausted from barking in the kennel, well after his first grooming at Samy's when we picked him up he was happy as can be he wasn't kenneled he was roaming around happy like he's use to at home we have never kenneled him ever, but Petco at a policy and they had to be. Kaitlyn is so amazing and we love how she treats our crazy doodle and he listens to her so well he barely lets me brush him but will let his groomer brush him. Petco was 5 mins down the road and this spot is 35 mins from our place but we don't mind driving this far for our doodle to have the best care. Samy you have added an amazing person and groomer to your store and I'm so happy we get to keep her as our groomer. read more

Unfortunately, after trying Samy's twice, I cannot recommend this place to any pet lover. I recently relocated to Henderson and was referred to Samy's by a neighbor. I took our dog to Samy's the first time for a bath/haircut and the second time for a nail trim. Both times I found the staff to be unfriendly and they didn't listen to very basic instructions on what we wanted for our dog (including filing the nails as opposed to cutting them, which our prior groomer did without a problem for a year). Since I was referred to Samy's and we're new to the neighborhood, I gave this place a second chance with the nail trim, but after hearing the dog yelp in pain when they cut one of her nails too short (again after being told to only file them), we will not be going back. Our dog is a rescue and on the small side (9 lb Chihuahua) so she's particularly shy around new people anyways. However, given the unfriendly atmosphere of Samy's, we'll definitely be finding a new groomer. To their credit (and for the sake of a fair review), I do like that the dogs are free to run around and don't have to be placed in kennels. So, for anyone that has a dog that is sensitive to being in a kennel for a long length of time, this may be a place you would want to check out. On balance, it just won't work for us. read more

This place is excellent!!! I went in to ask how much to groom my 2 dogs and he gave me a price then I asked when he could do he said now...so I went and got my dogs & he asked what I wanted I told him and he said 1-2 hours & he was right on target...I like the relaxed atmosphere he has there as the dogs roam around the grooming area not in cages!!! this was the BEST experience I ever had and at a GREAT price...I will NEVER go back to the big pet stores for grooming again and so should everybody else read more

This place was horrible! I got my dog back from this place and his eyes were bloodshot red.. Both of his eyes were filled with blood, it was so scary. They told me that he was just being difficult but I know that's not true because my dog is a service dog and he is very well trained. I started reading some of the other reviews and not only did they hurt my dog, but they've abused countless dogs as well. My neighbor also told me that she also took her dog to this place and they cut her nipple off!!! Not only that but they did her anal wrong. This place definitely needs to be shut down, do not go to it. read more
