Phobos is extremely people shy, and scares easily in loud/noisy environments so as you can imagine, it's been a huge challenge taking him anywhere. Walks were extremely stressful, always cut short and we were beginning to feel pretty hopeless since we had tried EVERYTHING we could conjure up to improve his confidence-to no avail. It's only been several months since Phobos has been joining Hadley & the pack on walks, but I'm honestly in disbelief with how much progress he's made already. Just yesterday, we brought him along with us to Moseley's Cafe to grab a quick bite (being cautiously optimistic), and he did SO well even though it was a tight, crowded area. He remained calm, collected and even laid down to enjoy a patch of sun. I was absolutely shocked. Only a couple months ago, he'd be barking at people, pulling every-which-way to get away, and we would have most likely caused a scene. A couple months ago, a friend from the Alameda Pet Shelter (place where I adopted both of my pups) recommended Zack with Unmarked Territory.
