Quite impressive. Short version, come here…read more Huey Luey's food is decent, but their real magic is their service. The servers give you a card promising to give you their best for a great experience, and, by and large, they strive to do it. Our server was Alisia, and I recommend asking for her by name if you can. She was friendly; she explained options to us; she got our coupon to work easily; she remembered our customizations and got them right. Very helpful. The food was good. I'll admit that to me, all Mexican food tastes the same whether it's from a Mom & Pop place, Chipotle, or Huey Luey's, but this stuff tasted just fine. As you can see, the decor is fun and welcoming. Another special feature: when a kid orders from the kids' menu, they get to pick a treasure for the treasure box; it's a decorated treasure chest "guarded" by a stuffed Octopus named Pablo. They can pick from candy or mini-toys like slinkies, little scorpions or snakes, rings, etc. Thanks to Katherine for pointing this feature out to us. One minor thing: you can get into this location from the main highway or the back; come in from the highway. The back is a one-car-wide entrance/exit, so it blocks up. As with anywhere in Hiram, turning out can be tough, so take the back exit around to get to a traffic light. Worthwhile stop. Friendly crew, good food, recommended.

We came in as the bridal party after rehearsal, good and hungry! Originally we were seated on the patio, but unfortunately I couldn't sit outside due to the amount of pollen. w/ no hesitation they moved us inside and began helping us with accommodations! We placed orders for drinks and appetizers, followed by the entrees! I ordered the Texas fajita burrito filled with steak and chicken with a side of rice and beans, very filling! I also ordered queso dip, and a sangrita swirl w/an extra shot, completely satisfied after my meal! I even had leftovers to carry home. The food was delicious and we will be back!

Owner was super friendly & gave me a rundown of the menu. The inside is so cute with tablecloths on the tables and plants in the window. Very charming. I ordered a few things to try 2 mexican chicken tacos, 1 american taco, rice, chips & salsa. The Mexican tacos were $3.25 ($4 @ the other taco place I tried), the American taco was $3.75. Rice $2.05, Chips & salsa was $5. The Mexican tacos were delicious! Meat was flavorful & tender topped with cilantro & onions. Served with 2 cucumber slices, 2 radish slices, limes and tomatillo sauce, and grilled onions! The American taco was listed as ground beef with potato which I thought was different but it totally worked. This was a hard shell taco and the meat was not like a typical beef taco at a Mexican restaurant. This was typical browned ground beef with small diced potatoes in it. There was a good amount of grease from the beef to add an extra beefiness to the taste. Topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato and sour cream - just perfection! I'm a big rice fan and this rice was excellent! The flavor was so deep like it had been working for a while - wish O had ordered 2 or wish they had a large size. The chips & salsa were good. The chips were perfect - served warm and not too heavy on the salt. The salsa was a mix pf fresh veggies that had been blended not too spicy, not too heavy on the cilantro for those who don't like it. All in all I will definitely be back. Already have my eye on the grilled chicken dinner or a tortilla.

Well laid out, kind of hip, and clean! They are a Venezuelan food spot that honestly was good! We came here specifically for the pastelitos... they have a pastry like outside and were filled with cheese and potato. I loved them! Aydan ate 3 of them and Remi ate one. He wasn't real excited about these. It is counter service here... walk up and order what you want then they call you to get it when it is done. They sell all kinds of Venezuelan food: cachapas, patacon , pastelitos , mandocas tequenos, etc. what we had I thought was very good! The cost was higher than I expected. I want to go back and try some other things!

We asked about the menu and ordered the ice cream churros with dulce de leche and ice cream cups for the kids and my sister ordered thin crispy churros and ice creams for her kids as well plus an Arepa with pork. Unfortunately, it took longer than we expected for the churros to come out which was fine until we got my sister's order and they gave her the wrong churros these ones were thicker and not thin and crispy like the photo. we politely told them about the mistake and they blamed it on us. I said either way they taste terrible may we please just replace them? and they said no..over a couple of churros and their mistake. Overall the best part was the ice cream which we enjoyed the birthday cake the best.

I asked could they cut the chicken small for my elderly mother. These fools flat out said no. That was beyond unfathomable! As I watched a guy cutting vegetables. They have no logical on why they couldn't cut the chicken that was already cut up smaller. The cashier was a little girl with braces kept awkwardly giggling like a little school girl. I asked a guy for the manager. He had on some thick black frames. He tells me the manager isn't there. So, I ask who is in charge. He said, "I guess me". So I tell him what happened and he looked like another little kid with an awkward face like he didn't know what to do. Then he says, "well I just work here". Everyone just acted like they didn't understand or speak English. This was insane! I don't do bad service at all. Leave this place alone, just like I am. I have a low tolerance for stupidity. I just left while they played a who's on first. Completely unprofessional and immature. Will never spend a dime there again.
