This is was a good place to go for my dogs grooming, but it has recently gotten really bad. This past week I took my Schnauzer in for her haircut/grooming and they did such a chopped up job. I called to see if someone different had cut her, but was told it was the same person. I don't know what happened, maybe she was having a bad day. But I will not be taking my dog back there. I have had Priscilla groom my pets for over 20 years at various shops, never ever have I had a poor experience or groom. My Yorkies go every 2 weeks, That is a lot of haircuts, washes, and toenails. I took my two dogs here for a much needed grooming. Everyone at Pawlor Pets, from the receptionist to the groomers are so nice and friendly! They definitely care deeply about the animals they groom. We took our malipoo here for the first time since moving to Surprise. Our girl looks so damn cute! I love the hair cut they did on her and she really seemed to enjoy herself there. I just had my dog groomed this morning and it was an awesome experience. I would highly recommend this place the people are friendly and the groomer seemed to really like dogs and her job. He looks fantastic and smells great. They didn't try to make me feel bad because I knew he was matted. I also like that he was done at about the time they said he would be done. My dog did not seem traumatized from being at the groomer either like he had at a different place. read more

I have taken my dog their 2 times. Each time I have had to ask for the nails to be trimmed, the glands drained and the sani shave on the bum area. Excuse me.............isn't that all part of the grooming. The price is high and the work is horrible. They shaved off a good portion of the tail hair when I specifically asked them NOT to cut the tail hair or the ear hair. Last time the back nails were trimmed but the front were not. Won't be going there any time soon. read more

4/18 took my dog in gave specifics on phone and in person. picked my dog up and the cut looked horrible! i payed 45.00 for this service...! the anas is still swollen its been 5 days! they had a white dog shivering as this groomer was shaving him roughly! hair from multiple dogs everywhere! never go here! read more

I just moved here and made an appointment based on these reviews. My first grooming of my Scotty was just okay, obvious they do not know how to groom this breed and hoped that the next time I would provide pictures of how I would like her groomed. I called yesterday and requested an appointment with the lady that had groomed her before only to be told, rudely, that she was out until April 23rd and NO ONE would groom my dog. I'm very confused because every groomer that has ever groomed her has said she is a sweetheart and very easy to groom and I've not had any negative interactions with anyone there. So why the attitude? I wonder if the owner is aware of the rude staff? Needless to say I won't be back! read more
