A small family bought an old greyhound race track and converted it into a huge animal shelter for lost, surrendered, and stray animals. All the animals are well cared for and healthy but are in need of forever homes. I was incredibly impressed by the owner Andrea, her son Tommy, and daughter Nadine. I would recommend this shelter to anyone interested in adding a new memeber(s) to their family. With our adoption of our dog Sassy, we also received her medical records with vaccinations, and microchip with registration. Our new doggie is a happy and healthy girl thanks to TCAR.

I wish they had more of a selection of cat shampoo instead of limited selection to choose from when shampoo is needed that is hard to find elsewhere. Cassidy is always a helpful person when I come in to the store and ask for assistance. Cassidy always asked how the customer day is which is a nice thing to do when greeting a customer coming in and checking out and leaving the store. They have a lot of selections of pet food to choose from your dog or cat. Even dog beds, collars, harnesses, cat litter, cat litter boxes and live animals such as fish and others.

Made an early morning appointment for grooming on my way to work. Another store employee let me in…read morebecause they weren't open yet. I walk into grooming. I stand there waiting on somebody to come from the back. Nobody comes. I pressed the little call button and I can see them through the window in the back. Still Nobody comes or acknowledges that I'm there. I walk out of the grooming salon to the cashier and ask Somebody go back there and tell them I'm standing here. They go back there and I waited another 10 or 15 minutes and my dog who already has anxiety, has managed to pee and poop on the floor. I clean it up. STILL NOBODY comes!! Finally 36 minutes after my scheduled appointment, the lady comes from the back and says unfortunately you were late and we can't accommodate you today. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! In this economy, I work way too hard for my hard earned money to be disrespected like that. THEY WILL NEVER get my business again!

Staff mentioned that they will be adding more animals to the exhibit. There is a nice variety of animals and birds. It takes less than an hour to walk around and see all the exhibits. When open for public tours Noah's Ark is a great place to take your family. The grounds and sanctuary are beautiful. There are a lot of grassy areas and colorful blooms. They have picnic areas if you want to bring your lunch. Peacocks roam the grounds freely and will sometimes pose for pictures. The animals at Noah's Ark are rescues and are unable to survive in the wild. Some of the animals were rescued during drug raids, some were surrendered from struggling zoos, and others come from research labs. You should definitely check this hidden gem out when they are open to the public. Admission is free but donations are welcomed.
