Luckily, we found Jackie. She is kind, knowledgeable, and most of all, very patient. We did 9 private lessons with Jackie over a 2-3 month period, and we starting seeing results after just 2 sessions. What we liked most about Jackie was her method of training. Not only did she help train our puppy, but she taugut us how to be better dog owners. She is well-researched and understands dogs from a psychological perspective. We get countless compliments on our puppy and it's all because of Jackie. She is a freakin' lifesaver.

She is a puppy after all, but I was not prepared. I looked at reviews for trainers and decided on Jackie. I liked the fact that she would come to my house to help me with training Doris. I had an initial evaluation and then set up a schedule. Doris is extremely high energy and after a play session with her in our backyard where she was jumping all over me, attacking my shoes and clothes, I literally called Jackie crying telling her I couldn't do it. I am 65 years old, and I've had both knees and a hip replaced within the last 2 years. She came over within an hour. With that one session, things started looking better, so you can imagine 8 weeks of training. Doris is now a well behaved, polite dog and I owe it all to Jackie.

It was until the next morning that my dog came home full of blood from wounds he had all over his legs and body. My first instinct was to give him water since he looked parched. He drank water non stop for 10 minutes before I could take him to the vet. Turns out my dog was 10 pounds lighter (I highly doubt they even fed my dog, he devoured his food in a matter of seconds) and needed several stitches in his leg. When I called Reidsan Kennel they invited me over to see how my dog had escaped. Turns out he broke out of his individual cage and broke a small window just to escape and come home. I'm still in shock on how a dog as big as mine (Neapolitan Mastiff) could fit though a window that's less than a foot wide. Makes me wonder how badly they must treat the dogs. The only explanation given to me was that my dog is "mentally unstable" and not only did they not even bother to give me a solution but they kept the 600 dollars from the training (which by the way was a total scam) and offered to pay only half of the vets bill. Weeks have passed since the incident and my dog is still traumatized! I can't even pet him without him flinching in fear. I have no idea what went on the night of the incident, but it's safe to say I will NEVER step foot there again.

I have again joined another class and I went today and it was just a blast and my Dog learned so I'm gonna be so proud of both of us when I were through. Anybody that has a should have training and Dina is the one to do it. She also takes them at her house, which I might leave one of my puppies with her to train. I seen her train with their dogs and she is patient, kind but firm. She pets them, she loves on them and then somehow they just everything that she has just taught them with joy.

This is the worst teacher of anything I have ever had. Super impatient.I'm not sure why she did not like me, I really didn't do anything to deserve deserve the way that she treated me, but once I called her out on it, she started treating me even worse. I was really nice when I called her out and even said I wasn't sure why she was treating me that way. The next session was even worse and she kept making faces at anything she didn't like that I did. She was very, very short with me for no reason that I could tell. Save yourself time, money, and trouble: this is the worst Trainer in Texas quite possibly in existence.

Before starting a class, you need to have a private class with Mary, which is $45 (I believe) for an hour to make sure if your dog can join the group class but the group class is $100 for 6 classes. You don't have to come every Sunday as you can keep the 6 credits when you pay. I've never really looked into other classes here in El Paso but I believe this one is the cheapest! We always start with simple tricks like sit, down, go around, through but after that we use some obstacles. I believe they have an agility class too. I see many people come in when my class is over. The owner Mary is really good with any types of dogs. She understands them and she's been training for a long time. One thing I wanna tell you is you need to reconfirmed the appt for your private class like 3 times! She's so busy and she tends to forget it. I had to reschedule it 3 times before I finally got to meet her. Overall I'm really satisfied with this class and I'm sure so is my dog.
