Came into town to browse the shops and am so glad we stopped by Paws for Treats! Very boutique style inside with all you could imagine for your pets. Mainly geared toward dogs, but we did find some goodies for our kitties! They LOVE their new turtle and crab "babies" and even sleep with them. I've been visiting Lake Geneva ever since I was little and have fond memories of stopping by Paws for Treats to get some samples and treats for the sweet Pom I had when I was growing up. He passed and some years went by but now I finally have a dog again and I was so excited to return to this location to spoil him! I bought some blueberry crisp treats, bitter cherry spray, and a cute "Chewy Vuitton" squeak plush. While they weren't giving treats away as samples, the worker was so kind in loading me up on lots of dog food samples! My dog has been loving all of the goodies I brought back from him--especially the blueberry treats! read more

A cute little pet store on Main St in Lake Geneva - despite being named Paws for Treats, most of the store is accessories. Like collars, leads, carriers, bowls, etc. The back of the store carries some food and treats, mostly higher end natural varieties. I was happy to see that all of the food/treats were made in the US and many were organic and grain free. I'd rather pay a little more to know that I'm giving my pet quality, safe treats. Minus one star for the clearly disinterested teenage cashier. She truly exemplified the word "sullen". read more

Pitiful. I hate being taken advantage of and I also understand that small boutique businesses have higher prices so they can survive, but $3 for a small cookie?? Really?!?!?! That spells, "We are here to take advantage of tourists." Its annoying. I won't ever go back unless they have a "sale" which would mean getting things at regular price. The cashier was nice enough. This is a cute little dog boutique in the downtown area of Lake Geneva. They don't have a huge selection but the items they do carry are pretty good. They have leashes, dog cookies, rawhides and a few other items. I stopped in knowing I would have pick up my boy something. He loved the dried beef stick and cookie. In fact that kept him occupied for over an hour, which is difficult considering he's a high strung German shepherd. Definitely a cute place to pick up a few goodies for the pets. read more

I one of those people who are crazy about their dogs and had to stop in here while in Lake Geneva. Even though I didn't buy anything I thought it was a cute little store. They had lots of collars, treats, frames, etc. Looked like they also sold specialty dog food. It was expensive but nice. read more

We stopped in this pet boutique during our most recent weekend getaway to pick up some treats/toys for our pets. There were lots of all-natural and Made in U.S.A. treats available for purchase - my dogs *devoured* their beef tracheas & my boyfriend's cat has been playing with his Savvy Tabby rattle ball all day! The most disappointing experience I've ever had in a store. The store manager is beyond unprofessional and displays poor interpersonal skills. She not only was speaking poorly about my mother who had previously left the store, but she then continued disrespecting me as a customer. As a loving animal owner, I can easily find other animal boutiques within the general area and have much better experiences that don't involve unprofessional behavior and disrespect. I highly encourage other animal owners to spend their time and money elsewhere. read more

I had to stop in when I was walking past because I wanted to bring my pup something back from my trip. It's a cute, small store. In the front there's "clothing" and accessories and in the back they have food and treats. The lady at the counter was extremely nice and friendly. Granted the items were a bit pricey, but that's because the quality of the treats are not like the cheap kinds at Petsmart. They are made of natural ingredients. We have a similar little shop where I'm from so the prices didn't shock me too much. I would rather pay a dollar or 2 extra for something actually healthy for my pup than saving money and feeding my pup garbage. If I'm back here again, I will definitely stop in once more! read more
