I wanted to update my review, still 5 stars!, as I have now had 3 very different experience with them. My first home euthanasia I rushed, as he was seizing and I just wanted it to be over. They were compassionate and wonderful, but I wish I had done tbh da differently at the time and held him. Fast forward to 2024 and both of my 18 year old cats died within 6 weeks of each other. I had initially scheduled a home appointment for one of my cats, however he passed on his own in my arms the day before. It was late in the day so I called and they were helpful on the phone in walking me through how to preserve his body until they could pick him up. They prioritized us and came first thing in the morning and the woman who came was very kind. His sister very suddenly declined from intestinal cancer a few weeks later and they were able to make an appointment for the morning after I called. I was finally able to have a peaceful experience outside, holding her in the sunshine. I hate the thought that I will have to continue using their services in the future, but am so thankful they exist! read more

We're still trying to adjust not having her around. She was 17 years old and lived a very good life. She was actually my mom's dog and when she passed, we took her. Very upsetting when I went to pick up my Luna's remains. I had to come back because they were taking too long getting a new product ready for me to bring for my son. I couldn't get anyone's attention so I called and got the worst woman on the planet to speak to. No patience. No compassion. Rude. This is such a difficult call to have to make but Paws Into Grace makes it as easy as possible. I was devastated to have to put my girl down and called around 5am when she took a turn for the worse and knew it was time to let her rest. I got a call back by 8am before they open and was able to get an appointment same day. The woman who called me was kind, calm, and so patient with me as I could sometimes not speak through my tears. As pet parents, the last thing we want to do is have to make a decision Iike this, but thank goodness for you all at Paws Into Grace for making it bearable to navigate. My sweet 13 year old Maltese body was shutting down & I just returned from a trip. The very next day, we had to make the decision to call the schedule out his euthanasia. Honestly, they executed everything to perfection. There were two doctors who came to our house because one was in training. The 'trainee' took the lead and was exceptional in every way. They were there when they said they'd be there. Dr. Hoffman was wonderful. She helped to make a really horrible thing less horrible. Overall I'm so glad I chose Paws into Grace. Although there were some other options that might have cost less, they didn't have nearly the array of beautiful memorial options to choose from, and I really felt like this was money well spent. From initial phone call, to euthanasia, to picking up his ashes and memorial items, the whole experience was very gentle and respectful. If I'm ever in need of the same services, I'll definitely choose Paws into Grace again. My cat took a rapid turn for the worse the evening before, and it was time to put him to sleep. I didn't want to have him put to sleep in an unfamiliar/stressful environment like the vet office or ER vet, so I called first thing in the morning and they were able to squeeze me in that day, although their website recommends scheduling a bit sooner if you can. Dr. Hoffman arrived on time and didn't rush me with anything. She took time explaining the process to me, discussed what I wanted for cremation and memorial items, and gave me time for all of my questions. She did a great job of telling me what to expect as my cat passed. Particularly helpful was knowing that if he had a couple jerky movements afterwards, this was normal. This did happen, and because I knew to expect it, I wasn't stressed out by it. She did a wonderful job of answering my million questions and things that popped into my head afterwards, as well as helping me with clipping off a couple whiskers and a bit of fur to remember him by. She really gently helped me to wrap him up in the blanket and let me carry him out to her car to say my final goodbyes. I felt like everything was as peaceful as could be, I was given all the time that I needed, and my precious cat was treated with respect. As far as memorial items I was overall quite pleased. I really like the paw print that comes included with cremation, and I ordered silicone impressions of all 4 paws + his nose, as well as a couple extra fur clippings. The only feedback I have for the fur clippings is that they didn't seem to capture his full range of colors; I think they got some fur from just one spot that has his medium color, whereas his tail and belly had other colors. The acacia urn with his name engraved is really beautiful. I liked it so much that I ordered a matching urn for his sister who passed years before, and when it arrived it was also beautiful, but unfortunately not quite the perfect match I had hoped for because that urn arrived as a smaller size. I should've thought about it and gave them the dimensions, -- I just didn't realize there were different sizes. It still looks nice. The timing of receiving his ashes back was better than expected, too. They told me to expect about 4 weeks, but I got him back in just 3 weeks. read more
