Lori is an outstanding dog trainer! We have two 3 year old male dogs. One is a 50lb pit/shepherd mix and the other is a 150lb Boerboel. They have been together from puppyhood, they have established a bond for each other that is so strong it made training extremely difficult! Lori is fantastic! The training she did with my dog Milo has made a world of difference. Milo is a 5 year old miniature Bull Terrier. I adopted him in February from a rescue. He appeared to be very sweet but I knew he had already been already been adopted out and returned, along with being in the rescue for over a year. I can't thank Lori enough for the incredible transformation they brought to our Rottweiler puppy, Hoagie. To start I need to preface what Lori had started with. My boyfriend and I were at our wits end with our boy to the point where we were considering not being the right fit as his parents. We adopted him at 8 weeks old. He was very sick and when we got him healthy again his entire personality changed from lethargic calm, to aggressive and wild. I'm so fortunate to have found paw paradise for my pups training needs. I had no worries leaving my Golden Retriever there for basic obedience training after I had already sent my chiweenie a few years back for training. We had been looking to find boarding for our large German Shepherd pup, but didn't have great experiences with daycares, dog sitters, and other trainers who didn't seem to have experience with active and anxious pups. Hello, Paws Learn in Paradise!! It's been 5 days since getting back Chakra, my Malinios/Dutch Shepherd mix. I initially adopted her to be somewhat protective of me, and although she is protective, it wasn't enough. I wanted a guard dog/perfect citizen type of dog, and Lori made that happen! I contacted Lori through Bark.com, and after having spoken to 4 other trainers, I was relieved to say I made the right decision. Lori made me feel safe and secure about her training, and unlike the other trainers, she didn't beat around the bush and avoid my questions. Chakra is sooo happy, and she listens on the spot. I had asked for specific words to be used while training Chakra, and Lori executed them perfectly.
