I can't thank Lori (and partner/hubby) enough for the incredible work she did with my dog, Kilo, a Pitbull Bully with some SERIOUS reactivity issues. Before bringing him in for training, walks were a nightmare. I was constantly on edge, knowing the potential damage he could do if he reacted poorly. I dreaded passing one dog, let alone multiple! Originally, Kilo was supposed to stay with Lori for just three weeks, but she quickly realized he needed more time. She wasn't comfortable sending him home until she knew he was truly ready, so what started as a three-week stay turned into five weeks of dedicated training. And honestly, those extra two weeks made all the difference. Lori didn't just train Kilo--she completely transformed him. When she brought him home, Lori took the time to show me exactly what to do and, more importantly, how to really listen to Kilo. On our first walk together, we actually encountered a loose dog--something I had always dreaded. But thanks to Lori's training, Kilo stayed calm, and I saw firsthand just how much he had improved. It was a huge relief to see how well he handled the situation, knowing what could have happened before. Now, we can go anywhere without worry--whether it's a busy park or a quiet neighborhood. I have total confidence that Kilo can handle it, and that's all because of Lori. If you have a reactive dog, especially one as strong and powerful as a K, Lori is the trainer you need. Her dedication, patience, and expertise are truly unmatched. I couldn't be happier with the results, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone struggling with a reactive dog. Thank you, Lori, for giving us the freedom to enjoy our walks together. You've made a world of difference in Kilo's life--and ours. ***TEN STARS IF I COULD!***

Lori is a great person to work with when it comes to training your furry family member. She took anako while we went back home for 3 weeks. He came back 2x more behaved than when we left him. Would recommend lori to everyone!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Lori at Paw Learn in Paradise! I found a German Shepherd tied to a tree outside Tractor Supply in Buckeye, AZ, in the sweltering 118-degree heat. This sweet girl was completely untrained and highly reactive to my other dogs. I knew she needed professional help, so I sent her to Lori for a 4-week intensive training program. The transformation was nothing short of miraculous. When I picked her up, she was a different dog--still the same sweet temperament but with a level of obedience and calmness that I never thought possible. Her training was tested almost immediately when we went camping in Mammoth Lakes. A juvenile coyote repeatedly visited our camp, barking and trying to provoke her. But thanks to Lori's incredible training, she stayed calm, listened to every command, and didn't react to the coyote's antics. Lori's expertise, patience, and dedication truly shine through in her work. My once reactive and untrained dog is now a joy to have in our home and on our adventures. I wholeheartedly recommend Paws Learn In Paradise to anyone in need of dog training, whether for basic obedience or more serious behavioral issues. Thank you, Lori, for giving my dog a new lease on life!

We sent our 7 month old samoyed puppy for a 2 week training program to work on walking on a leash, "place", and overall manners and recall. Lori was great and very communicative about the entire process! I can now take him for walks without him pulling like he used to and he will stay on his place or other commands until he is released. And he also comes when called now. Thank you Lori for training him so properly!

When we rescued our dog, Coco, we were faced with multiple unforeseen challenges. Walks were tedious with her pulling constantly and, at the sight of any other dog or passersby, she would lose control, making walks almost impossible. Having household guests became stressful as well, since her behavior was unpredictable and she wasn't responding to our attempts at training. After a few instances of my husband and I both being pulled to the ground by her on walks, we realized we needed help for our sanity, safety and for Coco's sake. Seeking Lori's support and expertise was the best thing we ever did and we regret not doing it sooner. After some time with Lori, Coco returned transformed having been given the foundation for training and appropriate behaviors that we were unable to provide in the beginning. We were also provided direction on how we should communicate and respond to Coco to ensure an ongoing positive experience. We are so grateful for Lori! Our lives and daily routines are so much more enjoyable and less stressful. Now, when guests arrive at the front door, Coco places herself and waits patiently upon command. Walks are now enjoyable and, as a result, we are getting out more often. It's a better life for everyone involved, especially Coco. Thank you, Lori! We are forever grateful!

Lori is an outstanding dog trainer! We have two 3 year old male dogs. One is a 50lb pit/shepherd mix and the other is a 150lb Boerboel. They have been together from puppyhood, they have established a bond for each other that is so strong it made training extremely difficult! They both have strong personalities and can be extremely stubborn. They would copy each other's behavior whether it was good or bad so I searched for a trainer and was so so happy to have found Lori! She worked hard with them and they made huge improvements!! They can now follow these commands and actually reliably cooperate : come, stay, leave it, heal... they knew sit and lie down but they don't hesitate when doing it now. They don't drag me down the street when we go on walks and runs!! This was a huge one for me. They needed socialization skills because both of them had odd issues with other dogs but now they follow my commands and make being around other dogs no problem! Lori took them to Fiesta Island when she had them and they played freely with other dogs and I learned that they love water more than I realized!! Now, Im just trying to keep myself and the family up on the skills they learned so our pups don't forget anything. I'm so thankful to Lori and her family for the love and hard work that went into all she taught our dogs and us as well!!

Lori was an absolutely amazing trainer. She was very communicative and committed to helping my pitty. My goal was to have her be more obedient and assist with socialization. Lori went over and beyond to help my pup with both challenges. I'm currently 2 months post training and it's been a world of change. Walks have been easier, no pulling, and reactive behavior towards other dogs. Also her indoor behavior has improved she knows exactly where her "place" is. The biggest win is my girl being social with other pups. We haven't done the dog park but I love that she can greet other dog and not be reactive regardless of the other dog's behavior. I definitely feel more confident as an owner. Thank you Lori for your help!

    My new well behaved babies

Everything went well I had to go on vacation and needed a place for my dogs to stay so I decided to take them to Paw Paradise and hopefully get my dogs back a little bit better than when they go in. They learn new commands. They listen now I got great dogs that I can take anywhere. The price was affordable and very much worth it. Thank you Paw paradise.

Can you believe this? Harlo with her boo!

But, Xavier explained that it was all fear-based. We felt like prisoners in our own house because we felt we couldn't have people over and were constantly on edge that he might bite someone. Xavier made recommendations that gave us back our lives. We bought a crate and took Link everywhere in the house (and eventually outside) on leash. Initially I felt guilty because Link was confined for large portions of the day, but now he has more time outside or the crate/xpen and he will even go in on retreat there when he needs a break from the activity in the house. I was taking him on walks regularly, which made him very happy, but he still gets the "excited poops" and I have to stop and pick up after him 3-4 times per walk, which is not conducive to my exercise requirements (due to a health concern). I plan to try him on more relaxed evening walks and hopefully break his fear cycle and get him better socialized in the coming months.

We were beyond thrilled to add him to the family, but had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Shortly after getting home, chaos ensued. Barking at everything, lunging at people and pets as we would pass. And I spent entirely too much time getting drug through the concrete. We were so disappointed and ready to give him back, which broke our hearts. Shortly after, we called Xavier. Having talked us off a ledge after my second trip through the concrete, we had our first meeting. We learned boundaries and consistency. With time, patience and setting boundaries and staying consistent we put in the work. We knew it wouldn't happen overnight but stayed with it. Now, 2.5 years later, he is a totally different dog. Do we still not love people passing the house? No.. but if I was abused previously I'd probably be weary for the rest of my life too. However, he is an amazing dog and we look back and our more and more happy that we didn't give up. We welcomed our first child last month to our crew. We were always slightly nervous with how he would do, but with staying consistent every step of the way and using the tools Xavier has given us for the rest of our lives, we were able to keep putting in the work. He has been a dream with our little girl, we will always proceed with caution and respect all boundaries, but he has so much love. If you feel like giving up hope on a dog, you don't know where else to turn and you feel as though all hope is lost. Call Xavier and Nicky. They have changed our outlook on dog training as a whole and have helped us more than words can describe.

I am truly amazed and so grateful for Don, Gabe, and the team at Crafty Canine Club. They have a ton of certified experience and have done fantastic behavioral modification work with my French Bulldog (and myself) in their board and train programs. I have learned to be a better leader for my dog and how to keep him mentally balanced so he's at his best. The structure of the training programs and regular boarding at CCC are solid and well planned so our furry family can learn and have fun in a safe environment while in the care of strong leadership. A bonus in my particular case; CCC techniques are aligned with what is recommended by my board certified vet behaviorist and was covered by my pet insurance. CCC communicates with me openly and regularly before, during, and after any bookings and will send photos and videos of the fun which helped ease my thoughts in the beginning. Now, I will only use CCC for care and follow up training for my boy. I believe they truly care about him and our relationship. A very small investment for huge lifelong returns you won't regret!

The best way to avoid the latter happening is by encouraging everyone in your class to keep going! :-)

I finally texted after waiting a day for a return call. The excuse was that she was having phone difficulties!!! Don't believe that one! When I did call, after leaving 2 emails, Laura answered. She told me that my dog did not need to come for an evaluation which I thought was odd as most boarding facilities require that to make sure your dog gets along with others. Was told that she would contact me a few days before hand and never did, that's when I started calling, and texting. Upon arrival as a first time customer their was no direction as to how to even enter the facility. So here I am in the drive way texting again to let them know I'm here. A young girl came out, barely spoke to me, told her it was my first time and could I see where he will be sleeping. She had to go ask! Another person comes out and lets me in. He shows me the crates and I was so disappointed. Crates lined up along a dark filthy room. Smelled, dirty, dog hair everywhere! I should of left but I was in a bind as we were leaving first thing in the am and I had no backup! A week later I picked him up and again texting to let them know I was there. My dog came home filthy, smelled and half of his food was still in his container which obviously was left outside as it was covered in dirt. Your website and other reviews say that you send pictures throughout their visit, I received nothing! I also feel that as a first time customer that the owner would at least greet me at some point. Very poor business etiquette
