Good Dog Mobile Groomer, LLC, "groomer" Jasmine injured my 2 cats with clippers & we had to take them to the vet . She chopped holes in thier coats, rather than clipping them evenly. She also clipped the whiskers down on my cats faces.Jasmine said the cats had ticks: my cats have never been outside & when they do leave the house it's to visit the vet. We have hard shell backpacks for them, so they never touch the ground. Jasmine should never have another set of clippers in her hands, she has no idea what she's doing. I alerted the owner of the company & (Barbara's) reply was simply, "Thank you for letting me know", no apology or offer of any amount of refund". First off we scheduled an appointment for 12:55 and got a message from Good Dog Mobile Grooming that she was running about 10 minutes early which was perfect. We scheduled with Kristin as she was the first available and this was our first time using a Mobile Grooming service. Well she was amazing off the bat. She greeted our 2 senior dogs with gracefulness and lived on them for a bit. The dogs looked and smelled amazing after they were done. Since they are senior it's a lot on the dog to bring them to the groomers now, but with the experience i had today, We will definitely be using her in the future! read more

Called and got a quote and scheduled a cut for my pup, which was all seamless and easy. Availability was good, was able to get an appointment a few days after my inquiry. The price was 80.00, which I thought was fair. It's about 20.00 more than my normal groomer but that's understandable, given that they travel to your home or work. What I wasn't down for was the 30.00 fee that they charged for "matted hair". Let me say, my pup does not have matted hair. My pup is treated like a prince, gets cuts and baths regularly. The only reason I tried this mobile groomer was because my normal groomer was out of town. I won't be using this service again. read more

Horrible experience. First of all my dog that I had groomed was unbelievably uneven. Most of him had been trimmed down but there were random spots that looked untouched. So I had the same groomer come out the next evening to even him out. Giving her the opportunity to fix the groom she had given him the day before. He looked better but when I got him back she said she had "nicked" his ear. I wasn't worried since I know he's doesn't stand like a statue. However when I brought him into the house I realized SHE CUT THE WHOLE TOP OF HIS EAR OFF. I feel horrible for putting my dog through this, never ever using this grooming service again. read more

Jazmyn is AMAZING! Point blank! She is SO kind, so talented, and gets it done! I am SO picky about groomers and she has blown me away! We just moved to this area and I was so nervous about going to someone new and WOW! 10/10 recommend! I have two golden retrievers and she did wonderful! I have been using Sage and my daughter also for grooming. We really enjoy having someone come to us, and when our dogs are finished, there is no waiting in cages for our arrival. My dog is very easy, and he adores Sage. He barks and runs around in circles when she arrives. She always does a good job, and she listens to my requests. My daughter's dog is super terrified of any and all situations, but he is doing so well with this service and with Sage. She is so sweet and personable, and I know it is a little more costly, but super convenient, and I love that my dog is so happy to see her!! read more

Charged me $180 for two small dogs - only bathed and cleaned up ears/eyes/bottom. This was the third time using them. The first time was a good experience. The second time, one of my dogs looked like his fur was cut with kitchen scissors. The third time, I was charged for a full grooming, but they only bathed and cleaned up the ears/eyes/bottom. They tried to say that their ears were matted, so they said it warranted $180. Even if it were true...they are finding ways to up the bill. I do not recommend their services. read more

This is the worst experience I have had. My poor boy was supposed to be getting a bath, nail trim and to TRIM the thick fur around his neck and hind legs. The uneven random hair-cut marks and bald spots are ridiculous but the red marks & petechia on his hind legs is painful to look at. It's like the worst razor burn imaginable. He is itchy all over and we have to limit his time outside because he will burn. I don't think a Professional Groomer would have buzzed a dog with his kind of coat...even still for it to look like this?! read more

I found this groomer on Thumbtack, with a much higher rating than on Yelp so not sure why the difference... This may have deterred me from using her, but I did not have a bad experience. I had quite the opposite. So, my dog is very untrusting with dogs and humans. I am always nervous when we take him to the vet or groomer. We decided to try a mobile groomer so it takes the element of over stimulation away. I was expecting my dog to aggressively bark when the groomer arrived but she kneeled down at the door and he immediately licked her on the nose. My worries were over. :). She was kind and he looked great when it was over!! read more

This company used to be quite good. They have become extremely unreliable. They cancel and/or change the day for the appointment about 75% of the time now. In addition the quality has become very inconsistent. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. read more

We have used their services 3-4 times for our medium size dog, and it has been a good experience. UNTIL.....we received a text today stating "due to the increase overhead cost, we are implementing a $10 to $40 price increase depending on your price point and size of pup". Like what?! First of all, we pay $120 per month to have our dog groomed with this company, which is already high. I get inflation, but there is no way that prices need to increase by 33% to groom a pet. I mean come on! Charge me a gas surcharge if you need too but 33%?! When we called to speak to the owner to inquire on how much it would now cost us and to give some feedback on the communication that was sent out, she was short, uninterested and said "you're appointment has been cancelled and hung up." Needless to say, we will not be using this company again. So folks, good luck figuring out how much your grooming price just increased. SMH read more

I had a bad experience. Barbara asked to shave my pet's legs and chest due to matting--instead of hand scissoring the mats out. Without my permission, she shaved my dog's entire body nicking her skin twice. I had to take her to the vet who treated the lesions and put her in a cone for 3 days. My dog trembled for several hours afterward as she was traumatized. I was extremely upset and so was my dog. read more

Good Dog Mobile Grooming is the BEST. Barbara is super kind, caring and patient. My Saint Bernard spends A LOT of time outdoors and is very active and energetic for his breed. His thick coat works itself into quite a mess hanging out in mud puddles and running through the woods. Barbara takes the time to get him shiny and clean and work out all of his knots and mattes. She has a very soothing, calm energy and in spite of all of the moving parts in the truck (which is a pretty cool truck, with all of the bells and whistles), she manages to coax him to where she needs him to be and keeps him calm whether getting him up on the lift to do his "undercarriage" or coaxing him into the bath for a good scrubbing. He adores her. I don't trust anybody else with my baby ever since she came along. Her rates are very reasonable for the area, and she is worth every penny. We won't take him anywhere else. read more

Unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. I got an appointment quickly and the lady seemed nice but once I got to thoroughly look at my 50lbs labradoodle after the appointment, I was quite shocked. The cut was simply a disgrace. It looked like someone's very first attempt at grooming. Her legs, head and ears weren't groomed at all and the advertised ear cleaning included in the price was also not done. Her beautiful tail hair was cut off right where the tail ends, which shortens the tail by quite some inches. My friends and neighbors encouraged me to write this review as it's still upsetting. read more
