We brought our pup to her so she could evaluate what was going on, and when he came home, she walked us through a step by step process that allowed him to be confident being home alone again. I was seriously concerned that we wouldn't be able to leave him alone ever again, but Elena knew what to do, and encouraged us to patiently stick with the program. This place was easy to make a free evaluation appointment and I was able to immediately schedule her for boarding the next day. It also helped to ease my mind with the many photos seen on their social media and phone call/text updates when requested. I also got to briefly meet the owner who was very nice! I definitely recommend adding a spa bath on pick up day. I also love the cute bandana that was given to Boba each time! The DVM we visited studied our boy's medical record thoroughly before she came in to answer the 101 questions we had, fearing he had Cushing Disease. He does indeed have it. The most accurate testing was recommended by Richmond Avenue Animal Hospital to an internal medicine DVM (not Gulf Coast). Richmond told us outright, we want your pup to be diagnosed asap under care, but we recommend the test be performed by a specialist. Best decision ever. Our boy is doing well thanks to Richmond Avenue Animal Hospital. Not the most economical (as they don't exist) but Richmond Avenue Animal Hospital is trustworthy, which is what we really needed.
