She left a daily visit log on the dogs, their behaviors, appetites, etc. She was available by phone and text to give me regular updates when needed. Karen Zorn is a wonderful pet sitter, newspaper and mail taker inner, plant waterer and house watcher. A year ago I was given her name by a friend who suggested I call her to watch my two dogs. She gave me all the information I needed and asked me to fill out detailed information on what services I expected her to provide. I felt pretty comfortable turning my dogs over to her. When I called to check on Fred and Sasha, Karen was able to reassure me that everything was fine and they were happy. When I got home I was impressed with the detailed information she left me on what my dogs had been doing. When my mom became ill and I had to leave town on very short notice Karen was able to step in and take charge with just a quick update. Found Pet Pals after a long search for local, friendly, & responsive companies/people who could respond/help on short notice. I found Karen and her team to be the most friendly and service oriented company that I hoped to find in caring for our 2 older (14years-sometimes finicky) cats! They're very detailed oriented. While filling our their paper work, they try to cover everything they may need to care for your pets. They offered fair pricing; We pay online (which is great) for 30min session/petsitting we felt would work for us. Our cats are so happy to have consist visits from familiar sitters and ones that giving them love, attention & grooming if need be. They even leave written notes/details on each visit explaining how the visit went and what transpired...my wife loves to read these. They are so professional & knowledgable. They come by for daily walks & overnights & she just loves them all, even though she can be picky with humans. I love love love my pet sitter. Better yet my dogs love her. We've had sitters in the past, and would come home to very sad dogs. Now, It's like i never left. I don't know what Karen has done, but my babies LOVE her. In the first meeting the dogs took to her right away (which is rare for my shy boy). My other little one is blind and takes meds and i feel very secure with her care. I have had Pet Pals visits over 30 -40 times, including long vacations...I have never had a problem. I have been using Karen for a little over two years. I switched over to her services after being disappointed by the lack of professionalism I experienced with my last pet sitting service. I am more than satisfied. I trust her with my cat, Dave, and have found her to be competent, reliable, and flexible. Whenever we go away on long trips, I call her periodically to check up on Dave and she has always been more than happy to talk with me and keep me updated. I got a 2 month old mini schnauzer, Missy, 2 months ago. My first dog and my first puppy. I was like a new mom with her first baby! Initially I used Karen from PetPals because I had knee sugery and needed someone to walk my Jack Russell puppy. She did such a good job that after my injury healed and I returned to work I continued to used her for afternoon walks while at work. She is very reliable, trustworthy, and my dogs like her.
