This was my first time using this groomer, and unfortunately, I will not be returning. Both of my dogs are seniors, and I specifically explained twice that they are elderly and need to be handled with extra care. One of my dogs also has arthritis in her hips. Despite making this clear, I was extremely disappointed and concerned by the way my dogs were handled. I witnessed my dogs being handled very roughly, including being pulled by their leashes to get them off the grooming table rather than being carefully assisted down. Given their age and mobility issues, this was very upsetting to see. My dog with arthritis came home limping, sore, and noticeably uncomfortable after her appointment. I chose this groomer in part because they advertise themselves as being senior-pet friendly, so I expected patience, gentleness, and appropriate accommodations for elderly dogs. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Based on what I witnessed and the condition my dog was in afterward, I would not bring my pets back. If you have a senior dog or a dog with mobility issues, I would strongly recommend asking very specific questions about how they will be handled before booking. read more

They do charge $85 per animal and a transportation fee of $10 and they are based out of Glendora [I'm in Hacienda Heights]. She was fully shaved. This was two months ago and her hair still hasn't grown back. I reached out to the owner who offered to make it up to me. For my next appt, I asked if I could get a discount because of last time. Whoever was texting me, likely the owner was so rude and not accommodating at all. Terrible customer service. Ghetto customer service honestly. The fact that she claims the job was done? Okay sure but not correctly, not what I had asked or paid for. Also, how do you advertise to care for senior dogs but put that as a reasoning for "extra care". How many dogs do you not have to carry? My dog is a senior so she is much smaller now - only 50 lbs. Said she "truly" wanted to make it right. In all my customer service experience, offering a discount for your own mistake is definitely normal vs losing an entire customer over what? Being stubborn? Update: To the owner, yes I immediately posted a review as I had informed. Additionally, don't even try asking for pity for being a "small business". Most small businesses would actually want a customer to return and give another chance even after messing up. I also added reference photos. Shaving my dog completely was a very big mistake and she still has yet to grow back her hair since she's a senior. "We always welcome constructive feedback and aim to resolve" yet rejected service due to constructive feedback and did not resolve anything, but lost a customer. I knew where he was at all times and they handled him with such care while being super efficient. I think the whole service was just under an hour. To start off I have an 8 month bernedoodle, I brush her at least once a week. With in the 8 months she's received 2 hair cuts both from doggie glam. The first time was a great cut, but we started to realize she was super anxious and mouthy when I would touch her paws after the cut. I trim her paws on the regular, so me touching her paws was nothing new. I assumed maybe one of her nails was cut short when she got groomed. So I tried to work back up to earning her trust and trimming her nails. Scheduled a second cut for today. Walking her into the mobile she was very anxious. Figured it was beginning to trigger something. I Came back to check on her after sometime and her mouth had been taped shut. Apparently she wasn't letting them do anything without wanting to bite. I've never put a muzzle on my dog. If I would have known this was how the hair cut was going to be handled I would have canceled. I believe it would have been easier for the groomers and wouldn't create a fear in my dog of going to the groomers. Diane and Ovidio cut my dogs hair this time and the time before it was Diane and some other lady. Like I said my dogs just a puppy. She's only had two cuts and both from this place. She's not a bitter , she's great with kids, other dogs. Has little to no bad habits because of how much time and training we've put into her. Yet the traumatic experience with the groomer has left me having to re train her to trust nail clippers and hair clippers all over again. And now I have to watch out for anyone grabbing one of her paws in case she gets defensive. Not to mention this second cut was pretty butchered. I asked for soft round teddy bear cut. They did a great job on my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Her coat became too much for me to handle, and she was aging and not cleaning herself properly, so when they first came, she was really smelly and knotted. Our neighbor has used them for awhile and I needed help to groom ( wash, trim) our very strong german husky who also had foxtails that I couldn't seem to be able to remove all of! Fernando and Lupe were amazing, our sweet boy has a summer trim, smells good and no foxtails! Let me start off by saying how much I hate leaving my dog at the groomers to have anything done because 1) I'm not allowed to see how he's being treated while I'm not there, and 2) it can take any time between 3 hrs to the rest of the day (when the shop is ready to close) to pick up my dog. Pick up time can become inconvenient sometimes, and I also just don't like the thought of my dog being locked up for so long just waiting to get groomed or picked up. For this reason, I usually just wash him at home and let his half chow chow side hair go wild after drying him off. Only on some special occasions did I take him to the groomers. Imagine my surprise when I drove pass a truck that advertised their mobile pet grooming. I didn't even know that such a convenience existed! But hold up, nothing is a go until some yelp research is done... Annnnnd passing my research phase, I decided to give Doggie Glam a shot. I called earlier this week and made an appointment for a few days later and when they showed up, the 2 girls who helped make my boy his handsome self again were friendly, efficient, and gentle with him. I loved that I could see everything they were doing (how they were handling him and such), and that before I knew it, I got my dog back washed, dried, hair neatly shaven, nails trimmed, and with a cute little bandana to finish the look. The whole thing took less than an hour and I just couldn't believe how easy it all was. No extra stress to my dog this way either. Love it. I was initially afraid that the convenience would cost me a pretty penny but they are around the same price as the groomers I used to go to. Reasonably priced and convenient. WARNING, this company keeps removing my review!!!! as I write this review I am in tears. I have a Great Pyrenees. In order to maintain his long fur, I have been grooming him every 6 weeks since he was 5 months old with this mobile groomers. Today was the last time I will ever use this grooming company and I suggest you look elsewhere. My dog had a beautiful coat! Today my husband was home before I was to give the groomers my dog. Since the groomers rescheduled me so many times I wasn't able to be home today right at the start of the groom. The groomers told my husband who never deals with them or handles grooming of our dog; that are dog was so knotted he needed to be cut down to 1 inch of fur. When I got home I went to check on our dog and I was lost for words. My beautiful pyrenees what butchered to the skin. He was shaved uneven and even his face was shaved. Anyone with common sense or experience with a double coat dog knows this is not something that should have been done. Shaving a double coat dog can cause sun burn and even be a problem to their health. They also decided to do this to my dog on a rainy cloudy day where it is cold outside and he is an outdoor dog at that. His fur keeps him cool in summer and warm in winter, he also has a replant coat which can be dry after wet quickly and clean it self. I am horrified at what took place today. This groomer has no experience with dog breeds and how to properly cut and maintain a dogs fur. My dog is not an unkempt dog he is groomed by them every 6 weeks so if there are knots than the 80$ a month, I paid them for the last year was for nothing since they stated my dog was so matted he had to be shaved! read more

I'm honestly extremely disappointed at this point, i have had nothing but issues with this grooming company the last couple months when I noticed prices kept fluctuating but today I just about had it. i didnt want to post a review because i wanted to give a second chance but I'll be looking elsewhere for grooming. How they left my german shepherds nails today is so unacceptable. They did not grind her nails, her nails are NOW split. A little back story and the issue i had before was that they kept fluctuating in prices as you can see in the receipts . I have zero issue paying but what I don't like it prices always changing for no reason without being told if prices are indeed going up or not. I almost all the time get the same thing since I started with them. Nothing's changed with what i want done except adding on tooth brushing but i had noticed the prices always flucating so I did ask one of the girls a couple months back and they said no prices havent changed so i asked her why am i being charged different amounts each time i was genuinely curious about it not being rude or anything, well she couldnt give me an answer. my mom asked the owner and she made excuses and it almost felt like it was our fault of some sorts. It's like if we were lying or something but look at the receipts given , i always have them do a deshedding on her because of how much hair she has(they tend to either label it as bath/brush or they label it correctly or add it) . Anyways we had left it at that because honestly the owners response to it just pissed me off , until recently i decided to give it a second chance so i booked my dogs appointment for today and my husband pointed out about her nails and honestly thats a big no for me. Beware. One of their staff cut my dog really bad, I know accidents happen but the sad part is they didn't show me exactly where he was cut after they handed my pup to me. I brought him to the vet and he needed medication, it was not a minor wound. Will never recommend nor use them again. In fairness, this was the second time I called them, I thought the same ladies who groomed him before would groom him again, didn't know they had different mobiles and staff.
