We've used the wonderful pet sitters at Pawsitively Purrfect many times over the last few years, and have unfortunately just moved away from the area so can no longer use their service. Marissa, Claire and Lindsay (who has since moved away) were all so great with our 3 cats, all of which have specific quirks and special requirements. The cats loved all of their visits as evidenced by the many photos and videos they would send us afterwards. All the ladies clearly adore animals and take special care to treat your fur babies as if they were their own. We are also so thankful for the extra assistance provided by Claire when we were away for a longer period of time, during which our realtor was doing viewings of the property and bringing in potential tenants. She helped to keep the house clean, tidy and free of cat hair / tracked litter all over the floor, she would also brush the cats daily and brought some toys round to play with them as theirs were all packed up in anticipation of our move. We're so very sad to lose these ladies as pet sitters, and can only hope to find someone else in our new neighborhood who will love and care for our cats when we travel as well as they did. read more

I'm not sure if this service is still open or not. Their website seems functional, but I've tried contacting them through their online portal and via email over the past two weeks and have never received any response. I'm not sure if they're just booked and aren't even letting people know that they don't have availability on the requested date, or if the business is closed. Just an FYI that if you're trying to book this service, you should contact multiple businesses since this one is non-responsive. I can't speak to the quality of their pet sitting, but will update this review if I use this service in the future. read more

Our family has used Pawsitively Purrfect Pet Sitting for several years. Every time we go on vacation or will be out of town for more than a day or two, we call Marissa and schedule her to take care of our pets. We have 5 cats, so finding a reputable, reliable, honest and professional pet sitter is not just a necessity, but a priority. Before we book a trip or plan a vacation, we call Marissa to make sure she is available for the dates we are considering. We actually schedule around her availability because we have absolutely no desire to find anyone else. We have that much faith in Marissa and Pawsitively Purrfect. We usually have Marissa come by twice a day when we are gone, once in the morning and again in the evening. Pawsitively Purrfect provides us with a lot more than just pet sitting, cleaning litter boxes and feeding our cats - we are also getting someone that is watching our house and making it look like someone is home. It is important not to make it obvious to potential thieves and strangers that you are on vacation. Many people don't think about that. Things like bringing in the mail, taking out the trash, turning lights on and off, opening and closing blinds, etc. Not to mention knowing that if something is wrong with one of our cats, or if there is an emergency, they will be taken care of. That provides us a great deal of comfort. Peace of mind about your pets AND your home while you are on vacation is priceless. Your pets are family. They don't like it when you are gone. Finding someone to come into your home to take care of your pets while you are gone is even harder. I remember the first time we called Pawsitively Purrfect and Marissa came over to meet us. We felt so comfortable we went with her and didn't even call anyone else. And it was such a great choice. That was over 5 years ago and I can't express my gratitude enough when it comes to the service she provides. We started with this service last August and had wonderful experience. The 2 girls who tagged teamed were on time and updated us regularly after visits. Fast forward to April 2018. My mom past unexpectedly, we called them and they were able to accommodate us last minute. They had to use 3 people due to last minute which the owner said wasn't normal. We have a camera in the house as the owner is aware (since that is how we found out a past service no showed) Saturday morning I woke up to no notifications that the dogs had been taken care of. I checked video and no one had been there. It was hour late. We called owner. She apologized saying sitter overslept. The same sitter let dogs bring in a stray string ball. We came home to multiple accidents from dog either demolishing string ball or eating foreign sticks/grass etc. Two weeks later we have them come again. We again have 3 people. One visit we were only given 10 min vs the 20 we payed for And then again the girl who was so late the prior weekend is over an hour late letting dogs out at 945 pm for a 8-830 visit. We land to a text from owner wishing us well. They didn't like that we held them accountable to their scheduled time. They were the ones who said they had a 30 min window, we just asked to be as early as possible in am as dogs were used to going out at 5am so 7-730 was already a stretch. read more

Lizbeth, connected through Marissa, has been sitting for my two kitties, Ricky and Roscoe, for 3.5 years now. She visits once a day when I'm away and sends an update every evening (often with a photo--I don't know how on earth she gets them to pose so well!). Roscoe is a bit of a challenge as he needs daily medication but has caught on to all of the usual tricks so must be pilled the old-fashioned way. And until recently he was the king of hairballs. Wonderful experience!! Cannot say enough good things about Marissa and her team!! I live out of town and my mother was admitted to the hospital for an extended stay and I called in a panic for someone to take care of her cat. Marissa instantly put me at ease. She was able to schedule daily visits while she was away (a few weeks). She would send daily reports I would forward to my mother which always included a photo and a little bit about their visit- it made her smile (and me as I was as he was clearly in good hands!!!). My mother returns home tomorrow and now is worried her cat is going to miss Marissa and Edlin- his little play mates. She was trustworthy, efficient, prompt to reply to questions and went above and beyond expectations. If I could give her /the company 10 stars I would. I've been using Pawsitively Purrfect for pet sitting since 2010 for my pugs. They are wonderful! Marissa and Lydia are extremely caring and 100% trustworthy. In the time I've been using them I've had senior pugs with illnesses that needed special care, even taking them to vet for appointments, and I know I can always count on them. My pugs absolutely love them! And my home always looks exactly as I left it. I never have a single worry leaving my babies and my home in their very capable and loving hands during my frequent business travels. Over the Holidays my husband and I found ourselves in a tight time frame to find someone to watch our Cattle Dog, Bode. We were referred to Pawsitively Purrfect and couldn't have found a better choice! Since it was such short notice, Marissa worked her magic and was able to have two sitters come and visit Bode 3 times a day. Cody & Mayra were phenomenal! They were very aware of Bodes strict medication schedule and his high energy didn't phase them. We were sent updates with pictures/videos for every visit. We live in downtown Houston. My husband is handicapped and never knows if he can walk the dogs daily. We decided to try a dog walker so that our 2 babies can get out of the house. I found Pawsitively Purrfect while searching for someone that will spoils our 2 dogs the way we do. The owner Marrisa is sweet, kind and happy to help! Mari walks our dogs 3 times per week. Our doggies absolutely love her. They run in circles when she comes to get them and practically throw themselves on their leashes. When they get home they are tired but one of our babies, Bunny always has extra energy and occasionally will get in the hallway to run some more. Mari loves animals and it shows every time she comes to get them!!! I am very, very happy with the care of their company. I am thrilled the dogs have taken so quickly to Mari. BTW Mari works with several shelters so I try to usually buy 2 of food, paper plates, toys and such of so she can give them to how she knows. I have been using Pawsitively Purrfect for about a year now when we go out of town. Our normal sitter is Lizabeth and I can't say enough good things about her and the service! We normally do the 30 minute visit once a day for our two cats. Before using Pawsitively, I had boarded the cats over Thanksgiving for about a week. When I got them home the stress of being away from home had caused my older cat to lose weight and triggered an urinary tract problem. During the next long trip I used Pawsitively and things were MUCH better! In addition to being half the price of boarding for two of them, we came home to happy, sleepy cats that were rested and healthy. Lizabeth has been great with our pets- particularly my older cat who requires medication. She's been bright and bubbly every time I've met with her and sends daily updates while we're gone. Marissa has been able to help me out with scheduling on a few last minute trips and I appreciate the level of service!
