However, it's what you do to rebound from that right? So Alejandro saw us and apologized so it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, our furry children had a good time. They had a blueberry facial, they had bandanas, they also had a lot of exercise and 1:1 time. What I loved-- is how we can check the pet cameras to make sure they are ok! They also did brain games too and they were so tired when we picked them up! Money usually cries in the car but he didn't cry at all on our way back so I could tell that dogtopia did a very great job. Jasmine also explained everything well. The pups also had their nails trimmed too!!!! I loved how they center the dogs around like what group they can be too! Penny and Money were in the medium dog size group for medium energy! Even though they offered to do absolutely nothing for taking up my entire day, I tried to be understanding and I get people make mistakes, continued to come back again. I drop my dog off at 10 am for an appointment 6/6 I made weeks in advance, they confirm my appointment the day before as well, at 2PM IN THE AFTERNOON I'm informed there's no groomer there, never was a groomer down on the schedule at all. The best they could give me is "sorry you can come back tomorrow or another day and we can TRY and make sure someone is there" Oh not to mention every time I go it's always a different price with no explanation. As someone that's been with you for 5 years, never no showed, not payed or caused any fuss this customer service was extremely disappointing.

The thoughtful nature of the space itself and the incredible staff really set this place apart. They are professional and kind, and all seem to truly care about the dogs and their humans! Additionally, Ozzie has severe food allergy so it has been wonderful being able to trust that the staff at Best Little Dog House will take care of him well and ensure that he doesn't come into contact with anything he shouldn't while he's there. The cage free nature of the boarding setup in particular is welcome as he is not used to sleeping in a kennel and prefers being cuddled up in a blanket with a trusted human nearby. It's such a relief to know that when he is at Best Little Dog House he is having a great time and being well treated. He loses his mind with excitement when we tell him he is getting to "go play!" and always eagerly runs to the front door when he gets out of the car! It definitely helps me have less guilt leaving him for a few days. The team members are friendly and seem to really love dogs. The last time I boarded my dog, I also got a bath for him before pick up. I was pleasantly surprised at how good he looked. He is a poodle, and I normally only use our groomer for baths and grooming. However, he came out looking like he had just been groomed. His hair looked fabulous! Pricing is fair, and you can get some great deals with their sales. I recommend giving Camp Bow Wow in Bellaire a chance at daycare, boarding, and baths.

The pricing in both the app and on a huge billboard in the lobby was wrong. Despite their error, Camp Bow Wow management was completely unhelpful when asked to fix this, and even sent several emails attempting to revert blame onto me. They do do a great job that taken care of the dogs, but you can expect your rates at check out to be much higher than you would calculate by using their given pricing information.

TLDR: Our dog was attacked and they claim that he scratched himself. First photo is a pic from them…read moreand the rest are after the area was shaved for veterinary care. Judge for yourself if the injuries are scratches or bite marks and if a dog is physically able to scratch itself on the inside of its ear. They are very clearly puncture wounds to us and our vet. --------------------------------------- Dropped off our blind dog 11.24.2025 at roughly 3pm. The morning of 11.28.2025 we received a message that his ear had been bleeding and they believed it was from scratching so they provided him with the expected medical care. Afternoon of 11.29.2025 they told us he was "shaking". My wife was able to pick him up early and take him to the emergency vet (Saturday evening and regular vet closed) who shaved and treated the area and gave him antibiotics. We did follow-up with our regular vet and they determined that the injuries were puncture wounds from a dog attack. When we told them Fur Paws said the injuries were from him scratching himself they looked at us like we had just told them 1 + 1 = 3. In spite of the records we provided from the vet showing his treatment history and their diagnosis of "dog bite wounds and vestibular disease" Fur Paws claims he arrived there with some condition that led to him scratching himself (on the inside of his ear too!). He arrived 11.24, they noticed wounds 11.28, and by the afternoon of 11.29 he was shaking so he had a fever. It takes 24-72 hours for infection and then a fever to occur so one can do the math on their claim that he arrived with an ailment already. Then you add in that these are clearly not scratch marks and you see that they're questioning our intelligence with their explanation. Send your dog here at your own risk.

If you look back at my previous review photos, you'll see the PERFECT schnauzer cut they used to do. Consistent. Professional. Distinguished little gentleman energy. Recently though, scheduling became nearly impossible. Every conversation sounded like: "Let me confirm if our groomer is actually working that day..." After weeks of trying to coordinate schedules, my schnauzer's hair got longer than ever. He loves wearing shirts, so yes, he had some matting. I paid extra for de-matting and gave very clear instructions: shave the skirt, but keep a full beard along with his chest and paws fluffy. Y'all... when I picked him up, I genuinely did not recognize my own dog. He walked in looking like a miniature schnauzer and walked out looking like a scrappy chihuahua named Peanut. They shaved EVERYTHING. His entire body, his face, even his whiskers. HIS WHISKERS. WTF. I know hair grows back and thankfully it's summer, but I honestly felt bad for him. As someone with longer hair myself, if somebody sat me down and buzzed me to the skin without warning, I'd probably need emotional support and a hoodie for a month. My dog still seems happy and unbothered, but I'm traumatized enough for both of us. After years of loyalty, this was incredibly disappointing and totally unacceptable. We will never come back..

The communication was solid, and I didn't have to chase anyone for updates. Place is clean, staff is friendly, and more importantly, they know what they're doing. I trust them with my dog, and that's not something I say lightly.

They also offer daycare and boarding services. It also looks like they may offer training as well. Every time we come here, all dogs are eager to go in and are all happy when they are there, so it seems that they are doing things right here!

Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

This is a smaller LFS that focuses on saltwater/reef tanks. They have quite a few frag tanks with various softies, LPS, and SPS corals that all seem healthy and fairly priced. The staff has always been super patient and helpful when I have questions or when I just want to browse. They've been nice about letting me be particular when choosing specific fish/inverts/corals. They're also very knowledgeable and helpful, especially as I'm still new to this side of the hobby. It seems like Oceanlife is a staple among reef keepers in the area and they've definitely built relationships with folks. People get greeted by first name and seem to be able to special order things as well. All around, it seems like what you look for in a LFS!

What attracted me to this place is that the store is super clean and the prices are generally better than any other marine-life store in the Houston area. Amazing place to board your cat. This was the first time that we boarded our 10-year old cat (Tasha) when we went on vacation and the folks at Nourish Pet Care were amazing, especially since we were gone for 26 days. Our cat hates going to the Vet and usually isn't very friendly to anyone besides my wife and I, but Linda and her colleagues won her over. The daily emails with a short report and a couple of photos were a great way to know that she was doing well. They fed her exactly the amount of dry and wet food that I requested and she actually lost a pound (which was great since we sometimes overfeed her). For the first time that we went on vacation, Tasha didn't sulk for a few days after we got back. She was back to her normal self within an hour of bringing her home. We are definitely going to use Nourish Pet Care every time we go out of town for more than a day or two. We highly recommend them!!! read more

We found it! A perfect setting for our sweet kitty while we are away. Nourish Pet Care takes all of the worry out of leaving your cat behind. It checked off all the boxes of what we were looking for then delivered services beyond our expectations. The cats are housed in a spotless environment. This is a cats only kennel. So no barking! You can chose which type of structure that suits your cat or cats. The cats come out for individual playtime. The staff sends you a daily email with two photos and lets you know how your cat is doing. All cats must have their shots and are checked for fleas. They are conveniently located off of I-10 near 610. If you are looking for a caring staff for your cat I highly recommend Nourish Pet Care. read more

Wish I could leave more than 5 stars!! I was worried about leaving my kitten since she can be temperamental with new people & places, but they put me at ease from the minute I got there. I was able to see the boarding area before leaving & even got an update with pics on how my kitty was enjoying her stay. Extremely clean facility! I no longer have to worry about leaving my kitty when going out of town. I know she has a safe place filled with kind, attentive people to watch over her while I'm away. read more

We have been boarding our cats here for over two years . The staff are excellent , knowledgeable and extremely caring . We love to receive the emails and photos of our cats when we are away . The shop has a good range of pet food and accessories and once again all the staff are so helpful . Linda helped us correct one of our cats diet as he had an allergy . This place is amazing we will find it hard to find somewhere as good as this when we finally return back to the U.K. . read more

The pet store is very cute and has a large selection of natural food and treats. My Beagle eats raw food (Primal) and they had a large selection to choose from. I also have two cats that I think would enjoy the luxury cat boarding. I feed my cats can food and I thought there was a lot of choices. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will return. read more

We are also so thankful for the extra assistance provided by Claire when we were away for a longer period of time, during which our realtor was doing viewings of the property and bringing in potential tenants. She helped to keep the house clean, tidy and free of cat hair / tracked litter all over the floor, she would also brush the cats daily and brought some toys round to play with them as theirs were all packed up in anticipation of our move. We're so very sad to lose these ladies as pet sitters, and can only hope to find someone else in our new neighborhood who will love and care for our cats when we travel as well as they did.

The people that work here are clearly genuine animal lovers and enjoy working with pets. I've been to a lot of places where the employees are rude or indifferent but that's not the case here. The practice is very clean and all staff wear masks and wear them properly which I think is great. My cat has never been so happy and at ease at a vet appointment before, when they brought her back in her carrier she was so chill and she was definitely nervous coming in. The vet herself is so awesome and explained everything in a simple and easy to understand way. They did not try to "upsell" me on a bunch of questionably necessary tests/procedures, which I really appreciated. They treated my cat and I with so much respect and straight away got to determining what's wrong and how to fix it. I would highly recommend this vet and I look forward to bringing my other pets here for care in the future.

The care that they provided for my dog was pretty good. He never had any illnesses, so it was just vaccines and preventive care. I stopped going there after the super high dental cleaning quote.
