When I decided to ask Katherine to be my photographer for a life style yoga shoot, I mostly wanted to capture this moment in my life, my love of yoga, and just have some fun. Oh boy, was I in for something else. Where do I begin? How about how Katherine was the image of a friendly professional for the entire shoot? How about how I felt so at ease I almost forgot I was being photographed and I just felt myself--free and happy to practice yoga in a Tempe park! How about Katherine's honest and excellent suggestions to enhance my photo shoot? How about when any thought I spoke out loud Katherine responded to by saying "Sure! Let's try it!" To say the least, I had a phenomenal time--Katherine made me feel so relaxed and myself that this yoga photoshoot was a highlight. And if I may humbly say...the pictures look AMAZING. I was instantly drawn to her portfolio, because her work showcased a photojournalistic approach, bold color and great use of lighting-- exactly what I wanted! Pricing was very competitive compared to others I was looking at-- but even better because she includes a DVD of all the digital negs. I always value this, because I love to make photo books after the fact, rather than selecting a handful of photos to print and hang. The photos themselves came out so beautiful!! We couldn't be more pleased! She was able to capture our personalities as a couple in just a short period of time. Being from another state, we decided to shoot in the desert. Courtney captured the beauty of the natural surroundings and it really made for some amazing shots. After seeing a few teasers-- we just received our final DVD of images.
