We took our dog, Tucker, to Angela for the first time earlier today. She was fantastic! Tucker is a nervous little guy and Angela did a great job of making him feel comfortable during his grooming session. And as for the grooming - she did a great job! He looked great! Few random side notes: I was late for the appointment, but Angela was kind/flexible enough to still fit us in (sorry Angela!). We also found her to be reasonably priced, which is great. I met Angela at the dog park when I complimented her on her dogs beautiful cut & color. I learned she groomed her dog, and she has experience grooming nervous dogs (my littlest has a anxiety), so I booked my 2 poodle mixes appointments. I was so happy that she did one dog at a time, so no cage. My anxious dog gave Angela kisses right away when she met her. Wonderful pet sitter! I asked Angela to look after my 2 cats for a week and am so glad I found her! I was really worried about leaving my kitties, as I have one that is pretty sick, but I had no choice but to go for work. Angela came over before I left to meet my kitties and learn our routine. She was right on time, very personable, and had a form to collect info about them, our vet etc. She was knowledgable and willing to administer meds and fluids, if it came to that, which was a huge plus. Throughout the whole week I was away, she updated me with texts and pictures during each visit. She even got my shy kitty out for visits, meals and medication. My dog walker/sitter is Nicole. I've been using her service for more than a year now. She is my life saver. I have one dog who is rather cautious and lack confidence - she accepts Nicole immediately and feel comfortable around her right away. I wrote to Angela about my little dog's behavior problems, thinking I could maybe get a little help through e-mail. I, too, have had problems establishing myself as the pack leader. She drove to San Francisco (!!!) just to help me and my dog and then checked in with me via e-mail to see how everything was going. She is remarkable. She is kind, patient, tolerant and talented -- and really understands and loves dogs. When she was here, I saw my dog move and act in ways I'd never seen in response to things she did -- like she was really speaking his language. She really can rehabilitate dogs. I came to Angela after realizing making it back to my home in the middle of the day to walk my pride and joy wasn't an option anymore.. After complaints of barking from the neighbors I looked into a few different places and interviewed 3 people. I knew right off the bat she was the one I trusted the most. My little guy has leash anxiety but she worked her magic and now he is so pleasant to walk. She always goes the extra mile and gives him fresh water and sends me photos that absolutely make my day. I had to leave my cat and dog with my dad after moving into an apartment that did not allow them. My dad is out of town very often and I can not always be there to feed and walk the animals. Angela is amazing! She is honestly a remarkable person who truly loves animals. I had my dog Bernie for almost 6 years and when he bit my daughter, I was very close to putting him down without choice. Angela found me on Craigslist and rescued my little guy! She is working on training him and correcting all of his bad behaviors. She is giving him the leadership and life I wasn't able to. Even though I am devastated to be without him, she is giving him what he deserves and I thank her so much for that! Angela has been walking our dog, a tiny goldendoodle, 5 days a week since May 2013 (almost 6 months now). She is extremely thoughtful and communicative and sends an update with photos/videos every day after his walk! Before we found Angela, either my husband or I had worked from home so this is the first time he has had a dog walker and we were very nervous about the transition, not to mention having to give someone access to our home. I interviewed about 4 dog walkers and as soon as I met Angela, I knew she was the one for us. Our dog immediately went to her and I could tell that she was a special dog person from the way she was interacting with him. I also really liked her as a person and felt very comfortable with the idea of giving her a key to our apartment. She is not only great with dogs, but has immense knowledge about dog behavior and health (she graduated from Vet tech school). I'm a hypochondriac and ask her random health questions about my dog all the time. She always is able to explain exactly what is going on and why I should or shouldn't be concerned. She is also teaching him to not pull on his leash when he walks! She is extremely reliable and always gives advanced notice when she has a conflict (has only been 2 or 3 times). We feel incredibly grateful to have found her. We wouldn't trust any one else to care for him.
