Found our way over here when out and about in Portland looking for a good cocktail, and Paydirt delivered. Plenty of seating and bring you own food or get at restaurant attached. Server prepared drink with love.

Nice seatings under covered area or patio. There is a bar and then there are restaurants within this building (Mexican, pizza, fried chicken) It's street parking and it can be difficult because of how this building is situated and the design of the street.

Affordable, divey bar to grab some drinks to wash down your boxcar pizza or other little food places all in a central location. Grab a drink then sit outside or take a few spots inside. Happy hour 3-5 pm, I just missed it by a minute or two but enjoyed a $7 cava off the menu. Lots of cocktails to choose from a if it were a little later in the night, would have gone for the whisky.

Came out for post wedding cocktails with friends and happened upon Paydirt. There were a few customers outside, we really enjoyed how open the bar felt, and able to still have a conversation among ourselves without feeling like we were yelling over the music. We were able to get our drinks quickly, all were priced well and tasty! Next time we are in town we will definitely stop in again,

A good open space to go enjoy a drink on a nice day or a rainy day as they have an indoor common area to sit in and also outside area. The selection of bourbon here is great, and there's a bit of something for everyone. I enjoyed the typical old fashioned while munching on snacks from the food in the surrounding area.

This bar serves great cocktails. Lots of options to choose from and friendly service. Fun food places to choose from at the same location.

Fav dive bar that doesn't feel like a dive bar. Highly recommend. Every time a friend of mine is visiting Portland, I HAVE to take them here. Everyone always leaves happy. A huge plus is the food options in the same building. There's something for everyone. Also love that they have drag bingo once a month!

This bar is the perfect addition to the Zipper food park. I thought the vibe inside the bar was super cute and definitely fit the environment that I expect a whiskey-forward bar to look like. $14 cocktails are a little on the pricey side in my opinion, but I understand that with that comes with quality. My drink was pretty good, especially as someone that isn't typically into tequila I still enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this bar for a quick drink with your meal at the zipper, or if you're a whiskey drinker

Have been coming here for quite some time now, and I'll be happy to say that it is a staple in our "going out rounds." We like coming here at all hours of the day on the weekends as well as in the evenings. During the day, it is typically a little less crowded but it's so nice because they have both indoor and outdoor seating. In the evening times, it can get crowded sometimes and lively because they often have a DJ as well. But another feature I also love is that there is food so close! The staff are always friendly and they try to get things ready for you quickly and in an orderly fashion. They have a variety of drinks and I think you'll be able to find something you'd like even if it's not on the menu.

This is for sure my new favorite cocktail spot! Friendly bartenders, good atmosphere (they also have a photo booth) and you can venture next-door for food (get the chicken sandwich... you will not be sorry). The music is a whole vibe and you do have to be vaccinated to sit inside. The bartender made me a spicy margarita (off menu) and it was giant. We went in for a quick drink, but ended up spending hours.

This is such a cool bar! We kind of randomly picked this spot when we were looking for a cocktail, but we're really glad we did. This is a really cool spot, with tons of seats along the bar, regular seating inside, and a whole patio for when it's nice out. It has a really fun vibe, with cool Smokey the Bear artwork on the wall and things like that. They have a HUGE selection of liquor, especially whiskey. They also have a really good cocktail list with options for everyone. I'm a tequila person, so I had the Mrs. Roboto and the Last Wave. Both were delicious, but the Mrs. Roboto was my fave. Strong without being too much, and also fruity without being too fruity lol - super refreshing! My boyfriend had two of the Old Fashioned Roulette, which is a standard Old Fashioned, but the bartender picks your whiskey. He got a different whiskey each time, but really enjoyed them both! If we lived in the area, we'd definitely be back again :)

Hallie is the best! She can make a proper Old Fashion and they have the good ice cubes for whiskey. Really neat space.

Nice that they have a fellow occupant of the zipper building to be their food option until 2 am.

Wow FLAVOR!!! Had…read morethe garlic shrimp and just ended up eating the whole thing shells and all. It's soooo garlicky and tender. Even better is their iteration of Mac salad - curry, potatoes and pickles??? My heart cannot take it. Also tried their creamy salmon poke / fresh flavorful and arrived on a bed of rice. So in love and will be back !

You would see that it's going to a motel, you would think to add the silverware. Fortunately, I was able to get silverware from my motel's breakfast room. The lumpia were very good. They were not greasy at all. They are smaller than standard eggrolls, but because they use more meat and less veggies than your standard eggroll, they pack a lot more flavor. Everything inside was seasoned well, and I really enjoyed them. They came with a vinegar based dipping sauce that I liked The "garlic Ponzu" salmon poke? No, not nearly as good. For the price they were charging, it was not a very big portion. Besides that, it just wasn't that good. A good salmon is normally pink to orange. This salmon was barely pink. I couldn't taste the garlic or the Ponzu at all. The veggies were crisp, the rice was a good quality, but there was just no seasoning. The salmon was very bland. I didn't know if it was just because of the seasoning, maybe they used a low quality or a previously, frozen salmon. I love good salmon. This was not good salmon. For the price I paid, not counting the DoorDash fees because those are added in anyway, I just felt I didn't get my moneys worth. Next time I'm in the area, I will find another place. Thanks anyway.

We came here on a whim in a Saturday evening since it is within walking distance of Portland…read morePlayhouse. We were warmly greeted, seated in a booth, and promptly served a basket of crispy tortilla chips and homemade salsa. The family-friendly atmosphere had a cozy neighborhood destination vibe. We shared a carne asada platter with a chile relleno and taco al pastor. The carne asada was amazing! Generous portion of grilled meat that was perfectly seasoned. All the sides you would want...guac, pico de gallo, sour cream, grilled scallion and jalapeño, rice, beans cheese plus your choice of tortillas to wrap it all up in. The chile relleno had lots of melty cheese and was thinly battered, just my style. So much yummy food, plenty for two. We had grapefruit Jaritos and n/a Corona but the margaritas look to be very popular, we even saw several huge ones with two straws being shared. Cannot comment on dessert, not enough room. We will definitely be back. Perfect pre-theater dinner and looks to be a great spot for family dining. We'll be back!!

Take my review with a big grain of salt as they have fans…read more It's reminiscent of something you'd find on the Eastside or Beaverton. I'd PASS on the lunch specials. Chips and salsa were both weak. Most restaurants at least heat/refry the chips. The Chile Relleno is the eggy batter kind, with low-end chile like you'd find in a can. If this is the only familiar style of chili relleno then do yourself a favor and try the version at Salsas Locas in Southeast. Now that's something to brag about. The lunch special taco is only available in hard shell with a limited choice of ground beef (yuck), chicken or bean and cheese. The whole thing is topped with shredded iceberg lettuce (double yuck) then drowned in old school ranchero sauce with gobs of cheese. Very 1980s like. That said, the soft taco with carnitas was very good! So it seems like they have a mishmash of gringo Mexican and some authentic dishes. The interior is very inviting while the service was friendly and fast. Only saw Mexican staff and Mexican customers, a good thing. One and done for me, but many will enjoy this type of venue.
