My kitchen floor needed to replaced quickly because I had a plumbing failure in my kitchen. I shopped several flooring stores and found the most attractive tile at 55 Flooring. The price was the same as a lesser tile at other stores. I was pleased that Abraham was able to schedule his tilers to come the next week! My floor was installed perfectly. It was a difficult installation because my island was on top of the old flooring. The installers carefully cut the old flooring from the island and removed it. They removed existing porcelain tile, ensured proper surface preparation, and installed new porcelain tile, new baseboard molding, spray painted, and caulked all baseboard molding surfaces. We moved into our new place in September, my wife and I decided to change the flooring as it was much needed. The experience we had in their shop helped us decide they were the company we wanted to work with. The sales person was very knowledgeable and patient. A lot of material to chose from and the gentlemen we worked with made the experience comfortable and easy. Abraham helped us set up the install date and time. They were in and out in one day, the installers did nice clean job. We are very very happy with the way our floors turned out. We only did the first level of the home for now, but we will definitely be returning to 55 flooring when we decide to do our up stairs. The company is not reputable. They promised professional work and the son told us to call if any question at all during installation. When they received our single call with a simple question, the owner, father Abraham, called the work crew installers and told the work crew to stop work until the husband would speak to him not the wife as " he only works with the man and not the woman" as he said he is "old school." The company damaged our cabinets one photo attached and offered no work to fix it or any compensation and is not reputable at all. We suggest you work with any company that respects women not this one. Do not work with this one which allows this type of damage in your home. This company behaves like it is in the 1940s and not in this century. The son states incorrectly that "they have their own installers" which they do not have as a group of installers is used by them and other flooring companies. Stay far away and have peace of mind. Dealing with damage is problematic. read more

I had the best experience with 55 Flooring. We recently bought a home in Newport Coast and we wanted to replace the upstairs carpet and staircases with wood floors. We also needed travertine in the downstairs bedroom. We met with 5 or 6 different contractors and after meeting Abraham, the owner of 55 Flooring, we knew he was the guy for the job. From the beginning, he was patient answering all of our questions, never pushing us for a decision and would always answer our emails/calls promptly. He has a huge selection of floors and he gave us lost of advice through our flooring selection. So working with Abraham was amazing...now his team of workers were even more amazing. One person (Jorge) was in charge of travertine and three others (led by Freddy) were in charge of the wood floors. They did an amazing job and it was great to see how they were truly proud of their work, making sure to pay attention to the smallest detail and producing the best quality work. Abraham stopped by our home a few times to make sure the project was going as we expected and to answer any questions we might have. I 100% recommend 55 Flooring! It was time to replace carpeting in my house. I decided on hardwood flooring and visited 55 Flooring in Anaheim. Abraham, the store owner, was very knowledgeable, honest, and low key, and the prices were the best anywhere. The store also sells tile and carpet (perhaps stone, too). And I can't say enough about the installers. They were timely, professional, courteous, and very hardworking. They completed the installation of almost 700 square feet (including stairs) in 2-1/2 days, removing and disposing of old carpet and baseboards (which they replaced, too) in the process. Seller put fraudulent charges on my credit card. I ordered a box of laminate and was told it would cost $32.76. Later I noticed multiple charges totaling $65 and change. I called 55 Flooring to inquire about the multiple charges and was told they originally quoted and charged me the incorrect price and that was the reason for the multiple charges. They never notified me prior to the extra charges and I never authorized the additional charges. Also, shortly after giving them my credit card info and the original quoted price of $32.76 showed as pending on my credit card, I was fraudulently charged $220 out of New York. It may be a coincidence but it seems suspect to me. I will never do business with 55 Flooring again. read more

Really enjoyed our experience with 55 Flooring! Had to recently replace our nasty white carpet and blah kitchen tiles and went with an Heirloom Oil Finish real wood product and a Berber style carpet. Abraham was very polite and professional- he never gave us the hard sell in the store and always gave us honest answers about some of the questions we had. We felt confident going with them. The demo crew arrived on time and worked super fast! They were two guys- very professional and never goofed off or seemed to be messing around while they worked. They installed almost all the hardwood in one day and the next came back to finish up and do the baseboards. Everything turned out beautiful. Carpet guys came a day or two later and had the carpet removed and re-installed by 2 pm- even with one person working. Abraham came to our house during the wood install to check on everything and make sure that we were happy with the process. I thought that was a nice touch.
