Panic for just a moment then hit the gps for Discount tire. It's 4:30 and they close at 5, yep, all the way on the other side of town. Picked up the pace considerably and made it in about 6 minutes. Arrived about 4:40 and meet with a smile from Wade, seemed to be the team leader. Wade I have a low tire that's loosing air fast. It comes with a package of a express alignment, total alignment and when he came back and told me be 180 on top of that we need to adjust some things to make it to be the right percentage on each side and I ask him would be he 250 for each side and when I a tire stone they told me do not go there again they scammed you and they told me that they will only charge me 100 for those specs and they redid my alignment for free. And also what they also did wrong is when they fill out the paperwork for the alignment why does it say on the paper odometer 134,830 if my car has 139+ miles. I was referred to Kwicksilver by Tesla when I asked them about wheel repair. I've had the worst…read moreluck with these wheels - a transporter managed to scratch all 4 of them, and then as time went on I managed to badly curb 3 of them. I was a little concerned with how the wheels would turn out because they had been repaired previously by someone else (the color wasn't quite right). Lance assured me it would not be a problem and quoted me a flat price to refinish all 4. I made a 9:00 am appointment and was assured the wheels would be done at 5:00pm the same day. Pretty awesome to have same day turnaround on such a big job. Needless to say - the results were amazing (see picture) I originally had some concerns because the wheels were gouged so bad but after learning that they tig weld the low spots in the rim and then sand it back smooth - I felt a lot better. I've seen many hacks just sand down the curb rash and try to feather it out in hopes that you won't see the repaired spot and then just end up partially painting your wheel but this is not the case here! They refinish the entire wheel and seal them off with a clear powder coat for durability and an awesome shine. You even get a 3 year warranty on their work. I'll be calling Kwicksilver for my wheel repair needs from now on. The only thing I would suggest - which should be your responsibility as the driver anyway - is to have the lug nut torque rechecked after you get home and to reset your tire pressures.
