I have been waiting for them to communicate a time to come install a part. They recommended the part to order and I ordered it. I told them when it came in and they asked for my address, availability schedule, and phone number, but I have heard nothing productive since. I have sent messages a few times for them to just give a simple response but nothing that indicates they are trying to schedule us in. back when I tried em, I wasn't happy. I even dropped the truck off at a (their?) location in Rowlette. When I went to pick it up they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. The truck was brought there becuase it would randomly lock up a rear wheel and go into a skid if the brakes were hit fast or it was wet out. Cost me 155 bucks as I remember, and 50 some miles were put on my truck. I ended up taking it to Garland Safety Lane where they fixed the issue. It turned out to be out of round rear drums. Perty easy for a pro mech huh? I wouldn't reccomend "step on my dime". read more

I'm extremely disappointed with this business. The person that came out to install new rear brakes attempted to manually take my tire off. It's very evident that he struggled. Instead of admitting so, I was informed that he had to "abort" the job because the lug nuts were stripped and I was also already missing one. Mind you, I just had a full vehicle inspection from BMW AND I personally detail my car weekly. These are not things that ever go unnoticed. So it was explained to me that upon inspection of this that the employee never even touched the vehicle. I expressed my frustration with the building manager (they came to my work to replace the breaks) and she was able to pull up the cameras. In the video footage it shows the employee manually attempting to remove the tire. From his physical jester's you can see he struggled to remove the wheel. So now I have stripped lug nuts on only ONE wheel and he also left me with missing one. I expressed my concerns and disappointment with the owner and he refuses to make things right. Needed pads and rotors on a 2011 335i, as front-right had started to grind and rotor was heavily grooved. The quote for OEM-grade parts was very reasonable. I was able to get an appointment at my office for the very next morning when I called. Technician showed up within the margin of error (about 10 mins after they said he would, but that's pretty good). I gave him my key and 90 minutes later, my brakes were changed. Tech asked me to test drive the brakes while he waited, saying I might notice some fade initially, which I did not. He then left and Dan called immediately to handle payment. I've driven the brakes for three days so far, and had no issues: no smells, noises, and seemingly the same stopping power. Wanted to take time to say how much I appreciate the service from Stop on a Dime. I called them because I had sporadically been hearing a grinding sound from what I thought was coming from my brakes. The mechanic, Christoper, came to my job and asked several questions to ensure he was going to give me the appropriate service. After a thorough inspection of both the front and back brakes he did a test drive. He determined that the noise was not coming from the brakes at all and that my brakes were fine.
