Best deal on spare tires complete with a rim. Called a few tire places and was advised to check a rim shop and Payless Tires had the best deal! Ariel was great with customer service. Honest business man, checked my brake pads advised I'm still good on brakes and the same with a tire rotation - no need for now. The shop has television for any customers waiting, even little birds for kids to watch when waiting in the shop. They're fast with their service, and the spare tire I got was in good condition! will return for tire services! read more

I always get nails in my tires and this is my go to place, the owner and his son are very nice people, their prices are reasonable on new and used tires. I came in today because my tire pressure system wouldn't go away after changing the tire a few days ago , they offered to actually fix up my original tire for the price of 60$, problem was gone. I liked that I was able to get the my original tire fixed so my car wouldn't have different tires and I could keep the other one as a spare. I also liked that it automatically cleared out the alert. Wow very impressed , it was Saturday, they were busy. Within a minute a young man approached me & politely asked if he could help me. I told him what I needed that they would probably need to order my tire 22/265/35 , he double check & had it in stock. By that time they made room for my car , had it jacked up new tires installed in minutes. Family owned and ran by the owner and his 2 sons. They all new there their duties and worked together like a team. Great price , quick service , and very friendly . They were happy to be a service to you , and grateful for your business. I had a nail in my tire and came here for a quick fix. The gentleman helped me right away, didn't try to sell me 15 tires just took my tire off, found the hole and patched it up. I think it cost me like $10? I was on my way with in literally 10 minutes. Went to this place to have 2 brand new tires installed on 2 new wheels that I had bought a week ago, I get there with zero scratches marks, dents, scrapes, you name it. They install the tires and charge me. I didn't notice till after that there was a huge gouge on the brand new wheel, the owner claimed that it was already there when it wasn't even him that installed the tires. He has his two of his sons working there one is about 16-17 and the other is probable 13 years old, talk about child labor laws...now I'm all for kids learning but I don't think they should be learning on customers cars and especially unsupervised. The employees should be certified to work in a shop like this and if BAR was to see this I'm sure a place like this would be facing fines and or shut down. The owner kept saying that when they have scratches they tell the customers right away so there won't be any confusion but yet they didn't show me the scratch that was "already there", then he starts saying that God knows that it wasn't them and tries to tell me I'm a liar and not being honest with him. ultimately they repaired my wheel which put my car down for about a week but it looks good now. *the owner even showed me that it was "impossible" to scratch a wheel with the machine and as he showed us their machine the plastic protecter falls to the ground. also noticed that the 3 points were the wheel was damaged matched the distance on the lowest points of the arm that comes down.* I wouldn't go here again, especially if you have nice wheels or if you actually care about your wheels. I made a mistake going to this place but assumed they knew what they were doing. I should have left when I saw two underaged, uncertified "employees" working there. read more

Always good customer service n good price.. If you drive in L.A. long enough, its gonna happen. It's not your fault, you did not put them there. But they are everywhere in L.A. Some are small and some are huge. Some will make you spill your coffee, some will make you swerve real hard to miss them and almost hit another car on the road. I am not talking about Hookers (not this time). I am talking about "POT HOLES". We have them all over L.A. and from the way things are going, they are here to stay. Now we are in a lil bit of a economic bind and every penny counts these days. When I need a set of Tires, this is where I go. The crew there is all about customer service. No marked up prices, no B.S. When I need tires for the 78 Ford Pinto, I go here. When the The tires on the 81 Leberan Station wagon needs to be balanced, I go here. I needed some times for My Top Seceret P.O.S. and did not need brand new tires, just something to roll it on, back and forth from the lab. I went here and the tires that he sold me, looked like the previous owner put them on the car drove around the corner and brought them back, 3 minutes later. They gave me the tires for $75 for two, looked online and saw the tires normally go for $180 each, brand new. Yes, this place is one of the last real, take care of the customer 1st and they will tell folks about you type places. They Got my vote... read more

I BROUGHT IN BRAND NEW RIMS AND BRAND NEW TIRES TO BE MOUNTED AND BALANCED and the owner banked up the rim while trying to mount the tire, then he tried to blame it on me like I brought in the rim bent already! His wife tried to lie and say she seen me bend the rim earlier, total bullshit! i almost lost my marbles when he showed my the bend in the rim...this dude always rushes his jobs and doesnt do quality work. Boycott this place. just go somewhere else. read more

Over the years I have found no better deal on used tires and cost isn't top reason for this statement. It's quality too. They only stock tires without damage and good tread life. Even the big name tire stores don't hold to this standard. Most important is trust. The owner and for that matter all of his employees can only speak the truth. I don't think any of them are capable of telling anything less than the truth. Really. And I would put money on this fact of that's why he has been in business for tens of tens of years. Even now as our economy trends again downward, if business slows and income becomes burdened, they stand confident knowing that folks like myself need them and we do tell all how good this small shop is overall. If you are reading this just go to them first before any other shop. No need to shop around. they have or can get what you need. read more
