Decent location if you are walking. If you have a car prepare to pay for street parking or pay for a parking garage. Sometimes you will find them on free parking days. The location is in the middle of town. The prices of some goods are the same of what you find in the stores they come from. I'm not sure how people buy the items thinking they are getting a deal. I saw used musical instruments and gaming consoles going for the price brand new one were. Sad to say, I stopped by on a search for a new piano. After lurking around the store for about 15 minutes, I can honestly say out of at least 9 people working not one person greeted me throughout my searching experience. No one asked if they could help me or nothing. And no, out of 9 employees at least 3 were standing around talking to one another. Oh well... maybe next time.

Even at the $75 to $100 price range these consoles would have been a rip off. At first I thought the worker was uneducated about the item he was trying to sell but then when my brother went back inside of the location the girl behind the counter told him that the PS4 had a broken optical drive. So they were trying to sell him a busted controller with no controller. How can you offer such a low offer and refuse to do any amount as a loan? Shame on them! They were looking to rip someone off and only that. Glenwood Ave location on Fleetwood Dr. has sketchy business practices and is operating their store…read morewith what seems to be zero regard to what is or is not legal. My family is frustrated and very angry with how difficult they are making it for us to pay for and retrieve my dad's items - he recently passed. We are being told something different every time. The last thing we were told was if we could not locate the original receipt, we need to present the death certificate to pick up the items. Today we met w the manager and he told us the death certificate is useless to us & we have to provide them w Power of Attorney to pick up the items. After leaving empty handed AGAIN we did some research because things were just not feeling right. We discovered it is illegal for a pawn shop to require a POA bc a POA is immediately invalid at the time of death and it is possibly an indication that the shop is trying to use fraudulent "requirements" in order for the contract to default allowing the shop to take full possession of the items. It was explained that the pawn shop is to allow to the executor or administrator of the deceased (my mom-surviving spouse) or a person otherwise appointed in probate to provide the death certificate and act on the deceased's behalf. The manager also refused to provide us with the original contract to review. We will continue to pursue the matter with hope in successfully retrieving my dad's items. It's disgusting and inexcusable how they are trying to benefit from the death of a customer.
