I know I'm a minority, but this place does absolutely nothing at all for me. I have been numerous times with my family and struggle to find something that's appealing every time I go. It's not that the food is bad, but it's not great either. The dishes tend to be inconsistent as well--meaning if you like it this time, it may be made differently the next time. The decor is really, really odd. While this restaurant is located at the Country Club, you will get a little of the Country Club vibe, then random 80's memorabilia scattered around, and not in a retro cool kinda way. It has a serious identity crisis. I would never choose to go here on my own. If I am meeting someone and this is the restaurant they choose, I will grin and bear it. I was in Clarksville for a dog show and was looking for something unique and good. I came to Yelp! And stumbled upon Pbody's. Don't be confused when you head into a neighborhood, Pbody's is at the Clarksville Golf Club. What a treat it was! Owned by a married couple that met as a server and a cook, these guys built a partnership with the golf club, and it's fantastic! The menu offers a wide variety of items from tasty homemade chips as a complimentary starter, to stir fry, salads, chicken parmigiana, and a wide variety of tarcos (as mamma called them). It was crowded and Mother's Day weekend so I get the short staffed but the floors were filthy. We sat at the bar to eat and the bartender was working her butt off. We were passing close by and the Yelp reviews convinced me to drive out of our way to give this a try. We almost did not go in because we didn't realize this was inside of a country club until we arrived....so be fair warned, THIS IS LOCATED INSIDE OF A COUNTRY CLUB. I called to find out that they are open to the public and no specific attire was required. I was really glad that we visited. We ordered the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, not realizing that they bring every table some house made chips with ranch reasoning. The chips were great and they FGT was very tasty but the batter was kind of thick. I was surprised at the size of the portions-very large but the main entrees themselves lacked a little to be desired. I ordered the blackened salmon (something I eat often). It was a very large serving but it was very underwhelming-the blacked seasoning was pretty tasteless. The Mac n cheese and green beans were both great. My wife ordered the chicken fingers dipped in Buffalo. Again-huge portion size, very decent, but average taste. I would definitely try this again-too try different entree items, and would recommend it to others. Additionally, the service was very good and the family was very clean. Do not be intimidated by it being in a country club, you can definitely wear casual clothes. Anyways, we have been to this restaurant quite a few times. So far the country fried chicken dinner & their burgers are a hit. The burgers are HUGE! We always get great service, and leave happy with a full stomach. read more

We have only been in Tennessee for 3 months but PBody's is our go-to restaurant. Service is outstanding everytime. Food is excellent. Personally love anything BBQ on the menu. My wife loves the catfish. When our family comes in from out of town, this is where we bring our family. Appreciate this restaurant...it is a gem in Clarksville. Kudos to everyone there...everyone looks like hard workers but also seem to like what they do. read more

So freakin GOOD! Okay, I'll start out by saying the atmosphere is kind of off. It's located at a golf course, by this I would think you would need to dress up. Visited Pbody's for the first time yesterday after seeing so many fantastic reviews. So happy we finally tried it but kicking ourselves for waiting so long to try it!!! The chips were a delicious start. I had the Monterey Chicken which had a wonderful grill flavor...and the Carolina sauce...WOW, it is DELICIOUS!!! My husband had the chicken tenders and he said they are the best he has ever had, he loved the Honey BBQ. We both had Cesar salad and Mac and cheese as our sides and both were FANTASTIC. You can never go wrong eating at Pbody's everything on the menu is delicious. My favorites are the fried pickles and the various burgers with 5150 sauce added on, yes I like it spicy . PBody's has a lot of variety for food! I love being able to choose something different each time, great drink menu too! The ribs and Mac and cheese are amazing but don't fill up on the amazing chips they serve you...I made that mistake the first time and was so mad at myself because I wanted to eat more of the ribs! Service is normally quickly, the first time we went they forgot our ticket, the last two times have been great. It's located on a golf course, beautiful hidden away location, looks like they have banquet rooms, porch seating and indoor seating.
