Mikey from CAH had called one day to check in on how my vehicle was running from work that was done previously by them 3 months prior. I told him car was fine other than this cracked radiator issue. I asked him for a quote for the radiator and thermostat replacement and it was significantly cheaper by a few hundred bucks as to what I was told by the other mechanic. I scheduled an appointment to get it done and when I dropped off the keys Mikey mentioned I should probably get the vehicle cooling system pressure checked just to make sure the problem was the radiator and nothing else. Long story short I went along with the test and the cooling system leak ended up being an old coolant hose and fitting saving me a thousand dollar to what I was told before. This shop is in the bank of auto shops on Vehicle Drive, between Coloma and Zinfandel. I called to make an appointment, and I was able to get in the same day. I show up, the shop is clean, and everybody was friendly and helpful. I explained that I had an appointment and a Groupon. She said it would be about a 45 minute wait. No problem at all, I waited in the lobby. 45 minutes later, the vehicle is ready. I finished up the Groupon paperwork with the lady, and head home. Everything seemed fine... UNTIL..... It wasn't until almost a week later, that I realized that they had never secured the hood to my vehicle. I had been driving around town, including on Highway 50 at freeway speeds. The hood could've easily come off, causing an accident to either myself, or worse, an innocent vehicle. Yes, I didn't catch it myself, but it was up to these people to do it right in the first place. This is unacceptable. I won't be back, Thanks anyway. Bye bye.
