I expected that my big car problem was my transmission. I had 147,000+ miles under her belt. My regular go to mechanic, Jim Potter from Potter's Automotive, was weeks before he could take in more work, plus he was waiting for parts for a few of his client cars and trucks. Considering that I drive my wife to her dialysis clinic three times a week; one, we can't ignore car problems, two, my car needs repairs now, not in months to come. My mechanic Jim highly recommended the guys at All Transmission and Fleet Service that was just down the road from his shop. I went right over and was able to get an appointment to check what was wrong and then fix it. Well, it wasn't the transmission, lucky wallet! But a couple of broken engine mounts and warped rotors and axel. They could fix it and probably in a couple of days barring parts availability. They delivered my totally repaired vehicle in just a very few days. And I returned my rental car without needing to add additional days to the rental contract. The guys Ozzie and Steve were friendly and I felt completely comfortable that I wasn't going to get screwed on the repairs. This is a good shop from what I see and I've been around for 60 years and worked as a mechanic myself while going to college in the early 70's UPDATE - Around 11/1/19 Brought our 1 ton Dodge dually & our Nissan SUV (which has special transmission needs) in for transmission service. OK - When looking for a mechanic I used Yelp to find the right one. I choose All Transmission & Fleet because of the QUALITY of the ratings. Other mechanic's ratings were based on basic maintenance procedures like oil changes and tune-ups. All Transmission's Ratings are predominantly based on advanced vehicle repairs. The availability and response time was great. The professionalism at the shop was great as well. I had a to get a radiator replacement, and the job was done in less than 24 hours from diagnosis to completion. After I picked up the vehicle the part was obviously new, and everything worked fine. It's been a week now, and the vehicle is fine. One special note, I received a follow-up phone call from to see if everything is going fine. I appreciated that follow-up. Thanks All Transmission. I have to say, these people run a tight knit operation though.. One thing that is really hard to find in a automotive business, is HONESTY.. I left my vehicle with All Transmissions over night for them to diagnose my vehicles brake and rotor problem.. I assumed it was both front and rear and was expecting to pay a ton of money fixing it.. I went here because it was close to my job. My car wouldn't pass smog so I told him to do whatever it took to make it happen. I told him I could spend around 500 . He called me back and told me my timing was off and only charged I think 110 which included smog. He also took it to the smog place to ensure it passed. These people are incredible! I had brought my big SUV here just to get a diagnostic back in June or July. It ended up being that I had some health issues and couldn't get there to get my car out. They let it just take up space on their lot for almost 5 months, and only charged me the diagnostic fee today of $100.00. It seems like in this world today you find businesses and people taking advantage of people during hardships. Ozzie totally saved me. I had my car at a different garage and they ruined my transmission, I mean it was completely ruined. I took it to All Transmission and he went above and beyond to get my car running. My car broke on a Tuesday afternoon, I gave the ok to replace the transmission around Wednesday afternoon. All Transmission completed work on my 1956 willys truck and I could not be more pleased. They were able to lower the truck, fabricate brackets, customize a radiator hose, and find aftermarket parts for an 80's chevy drivetrain implanted on this old truck. They were constantly courteous, professional, and patient with me even when I took an extremely long time to get back to them with parts and accessories. He was very busy the week I brought the car in/picked it up due to them being very short handed (which I can verify, I saw him in the shop busting ass working on stuff) and he was unaware of the situation at the time. Thank you Ozzy! I had a dire need for front brake and rotor replacement. I contacted the usual tire retailers, as well as the local auto shops. I was unimportant, the quotes were outrageously high, or the availability was impossible to determine. I called All Transmissions by a recommendation of a friend. Sure enough, the price was right, the appointment as soon as they could get the parts (1 day). Although the name indicates they only do transmissions, this is a full service shop. All Trans treated my car and me with a personal, professional touch too uncommon in today's world of auto repair. After my car had some issues thanks to another business, i checked yelp for a good place near me to get my transmission fixed. Ended up calling around and these guys were by far the most knowledgeable of the ones i called. They were able to give me a basic idea of what went wrong and how much it might cost to fix right on the phone. After setting up an appointment and getting the car in, they fixed it right the first time. They cleaned up after themselves and even explained exactly what they were going to do and what they did. Overall i would recommend this place to others and plan on taking my girlfriends car here. EDIT: Took my girlfriends car here for its recommended transmission service as recommended by the service manual. I had my truck towed here to have the fuel pump replaced because I didn't feel like doing it. Ozzy and crew went the extra mile ! After the fuel pump was replaced, they noticed engine was still bogging down and not acting right. They found out that part of the fuel pump diaphragm rubber had come loose and traveled up and had become lodged near fuel filter. I would have never figured that out ! Truck runs better than ever !! I took my '04 Trailblazer in to these guys after the transmission started slipping. I told them up front that if the repair costs were more than the value of the vehicle I wouldn't bother; I'd just get rid of the vehicle. That being said, they could have made up some phony repair and charged me a few hundred dollars and I wouldn't know the difference, but they didn't. They were up front and honest about the repairs and never tried to hard sell me on anything. I had also requested an oil change, which they didn't do because I would have wasted money since I was going to trade in the car on a new vehicle. We had a frank conversation about the repairs and I found out that they do a lot more than just transmissions. They are capable of handling almost any repair. I took my new (used) vehicle to them and had them do a work up on it, and they found a few things I would not have known about that I am now having the dealer repair so I'm not out of pocket down the road. They did this knowing my vehicle was under warranty from another place, and that in all likelihood they wouldn't be making those repairs for me. What an awesome, trustworthy honest place. Our son took his truck to AT years ago for some transmission work, I remember Ozzie explaining the work he did and he seemed like a straight forward honest guy, I always remembered that. I recently came in to have my brakes checked and I suspected that I needed new brakes since they were making noise and getting a little shaky. It turns out that my brakes are good for another 5,000 miles or so, and that they can replace them when I come in for my next oil change.
