Luckily, I was able to get the last one they had & tax-free is always a win. I got the Sony A6400 with just the kit lens and I'm super excited to open & try it out. All I needed was someone to pick up the phone, take ten seconds, type it in, and confirm it had arrived and was in the store. Martha answered the phone. She had that old-school Mac store vibe, the kind where being helpful or even mildly friendly was considered uncool. You don't see many of them anymore, but apparently one remains, and her name is Martha. And Martha? She wouldn't check. Too bad. Everyone else I met that day was great. I hung up and finally decided i should not switch to Apple. I am a long time Windows computer & Android phone user and thought today would be the day that I would switch. I finally have my answer. We called Brian and made an appointment to bring in my old desktop. I explained what I saw…read morehappening with the power button not always working, the machine sounding like a jet engine, and shutting down randomly. Also, ran so slow, I could go and do something (such as washing dishes) and come back before it would be up and running. Brian gave me some possible scenarios including a mother board. Fortunately for me, he found the broken fan that would stop and start, and other fans tried to accommodate for the issue and heat buildup. Brian called me, told me timeline and pricing and got the go ahead from me. Was able to pick up the next day with additional tips to make it run better. Before I had tried many, the machine was much faster, quieter, and no "not responding" messages or shutting down. My brother confirmed how much take down and putting back was required to make the repair. So happy I did. Can have multiple tabs open and do multiple thing at same time without issues and taking up my whole day.
