This is by far the best place in OC for all things computer repair. My PC was about 10 years old and on its last leg. I should have moved to a new one long ago, but did not. Well the PC would not power on at all so I called a few places and most said they could try to help but weren't sure. I then fount OC Trade and drove over to discuss and was given a couple of options. First off putting my hard drive into another PC and being able to access my emails and data. That w was what I needed!!! Then Moe suggested that I consider upgrading my hard drive to SSD drive to get more speed and be able to use it efficiently (which I hadn't done in a few years since it was sooooo old). The prices to do so was very reasonable so I decided to move forward that way. To my surprise he was able to get the work done by the following day. I know he worked longer than usual to get the computer back to me quickly. I sincerely appreciate all he did. Now it boots up SO FAST and works perfectly. He even made sure to get all the correct drivers loaded so I didn't have to deal with that either. I will never go anywhere else and when I am ready for a new PC this is the place I will go. Last week I had to take an urgent trip from Houston to Mission Viejo to visit an old friend who was in ICU. I took my laptop with me, so I could get some work done, as I didn't know how long I would have to stay, then Murphy's Law hit me. One of the nurses kindly helped me search for a computer repair shop, as it was pointless to buy a new one without access to my files. We found PC Trade, which was close to Providence Mission Hospital, and right off the 5 freeway. At first I was concerned about the "scam alert" review, but when I looked at all the other reviews with 5 stars, and my desperate situation, I decided to give it a try. I can't thank Moe enough to had looked at my laptop and fix the problem so quickly, which was simple for someone with his experience and knowledge. It ended up being a bad battery connection. PCTrade (Moe) built a rock-solid, fast PC for me a few years ago. This week he updated the PC from Windows/7 to Windows/10. When the upgrade was complete, all of the programs, data files, etc. were EXACTLY as they were before the upgrade. In very short order (a few hours) he returned to me a perfectly working PC. There were some challenges that he faced, e.g., monitor potentially not working, old BIOS potentially malfunctioning (he flashed the latest version, too), and an important legacy program that may not have worked. I have gone to Moe several times for repairs. He charges a super reasonable price and is very knowledgeable. He had to wipe my computer because I had a virus. He then reinstalled all of my documents and programs, which can be a lengthy process. Some shops would probably charge for all of that time. He however, works in tandem, and does other work while your lengthy programs like Photoshop are loading. He seemed to have about 6 computers loading programs at once when I was watching.
