The compact hybrid SUV from Volvo that he requested--despite being a 2026 model is actually less expensive than the options offered by other rental car companies. I had to settle on a Volvo as a replacement. Kay was as helpful As she could have been but the Mercedes should have not been given to us in the condition it was in. Lastly when I returned the vehicle and asked for a ride home, I was told they only give rides home for insurance rentals and only Monday to Friday. I should have went with enterprise even though they cost a little more.

I had reserved a Toyota Camry or similar, but when I arrived, I was informed that they didn't have any sedans available at the moment. Instead, they upgraded me to a 2025 Chevy Trailblazer crossover SUV at the same price :) Since the office was closed on Monday for the holiday, I was initially told that I would need to pay for an extra day because I wouldn't be able to return the car until Tuesday. However, they advised me to speak with the manager or staff when I returned the vehicle since the situation wasn't my fault. The car itself was practically brand new, very clean, and performed great throughout our trip. When I returned the car at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, I explained the situation to the employee assisting me. He immediately told me that I would only be charged for the days I actually used the vehicle. Since I returned it first thing in the morning, they waived the additional day's charge without any hassle. Overall, my experience was excellent. The staff was friendly, honest, and accommodating, and the rental process was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this rental car company to anyone looking for a reliable, clean, and fairly priced rental vehicle. Thank you Midway rental car :)

I highly recommend this Hertz location if you need to rent a car.
