DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have such good reviews…read morebecause they pay their clients to not leave the bad ones Came to my house a month ago and said they only needed to replace the glass in my gas paneled sliding glass doors. Came back today to do job and said they couldn't do the job because the track was bent... which they should have checked when they came out to see if they could do it. Then they told me they couldn't do it because our track was bent. Which I told them it's OK it's fine. I will hire a contractor to come out and just replace the whole thing. Thanks for coming out. Which they said they will leave the glass panels with us, we I didn't need or want the glass panels if I was going to have the whole thing replaced since the truck was bent. They said they had to custom order them for us so we had to eat the cost, when it was their responsibility to check if the glass was able to be replaced prior to ordering them, which is what they were supposed to be doing a month ago when they came over. It was their responsibility to eat the cost of the glass since they did not do their due diligence and simply look at a track prior to telling us they could do the job. With them not wanting to lose money they all of a sudden said we actually can do this. We know a different way. They proceeded to take the doors off the track, and then proceeded to break the glass. I have to add when they broke the glass. They used to tool, but then proceeded to jump up and down on the glass door. They did not have a tarp down. They did have a moving blanket that did not catch all the glass. They proceeded to do this on both sides, jumping up and down on the glass and banging on the frame to get the glass out. it took a total of five hours for them to do one panel, and when the panel went back up, it looked like it went through a hurricane. The glass isn't even touching the frame. There are black scuff marks all over it. The frame is bent. And the doors extremely hard to close now. They used caulking all around the sides and it's uneven and very unprofessional looking. But to make what matters even worse when we told them, we do not want them to do the rest, the doors, and do not come back tomorrow because they were apparently gonna do more caulking, they proceeded to pack up and leave, leaving thousands of pieces of glass on my back porch and patio. I have three toddlers and four dogs that often use outside. This glass is not the kind that's easy to sweep up because it is tiny tiny shards. And could cause serious harm to my family. When asking them if they're going to clean they said yeah maybe we will send someone tomorrow and when I asked them what I was supposed to do tonight They said just stay away from it which is hard because I have dogs. They then proceeded to ask me to send proof of glass. Our realtor that set this up, said they will refund us for two of the three doors, even though the one they did was unfinished and quite literally falling out of place already. That night they sent us $300 out of the $1600 that we paid. I requested them back for $1300 with a note requesting the rest of our refund or I will bring them to court, and their reply was a text message saying the only way they will give us a full refund is if we sign a contract that we do not leave them any negative reviews. At first I agreed I was A-OK with getting our money back and signing that. After further discussions as a family, we agreed that it is such a dirty business to pay people to not tell the truth about their experience. So they will see us in court attached our pictures of the job they did And the text message of them holding our money over our head for negative reviews. I would never do business with this company ever again, and I urge you to do the same.

He does a horrible job and will not return a phone call despite saying he will fix the issue. We hired him for a pocket door repair and he charged us for a new custom door, then installed a door that did not match and was NOT custom so it had to be cut down. It was butchered! When we asked him to fix it, he agreed and never fixed it and stopped answering our calls or texts. Regardless, how polite or charming Danny may seem DO NOT TRUST HIM with your business. He is a crook. We filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau in hopes of helping others.

Sometimes the Greatest Blessings Arrive Carrying a Ladder…read more Life has a way of knocking you to your knees. Over the past several weeks, my wife Becky and I have been living through one of those seasons. After a biopsy, she received news no one ever wants to hear. With her family history, we always knew that "someday" might become "today," nothing truly prepares you for the moment it actually does. Suddenly your calendar fills with surgeons, scans, difficult decisions, and words like bilateral mastectomy. During times like these, home repairs become the last thing on your mind. For quite some time our screened patio had been in desperate need of repair. Every torn screen seemed to invite every mosquito in Pinellas County to dinner. We wanted to fix it, but life simply had bigger priorities. Then something happened that I'll never forget. Joshua Murphy, along with his wife Ruth and the wonderful people at Murphy's Aluminum & Rescreens, heard about what we were facing. They didn't send a "Get Well" card. They didn't simply say, "We're praying for you." They showed up. Without fanfare. Without expecting recognition. Without making the day about themselves. They transformed our worn-out patio into something beautiful again. There is an old saying that people don't always remember what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel. Long after these new screens eventually wear out--and someday they will--I will always remember the kindness behind them. In a world where many businesses are measured by estimates, invoices, and profit margins, Murphy's Aluminum & Rescreens reminded us that the greatest companies are measured by something entirely different: Character. Anyone can install aluminum. Anyone can replace screens. Not everyone can restore hope. Joshua and Ruth Murphy, thank you for reminding Becky and me that God still sends people into our lives at exactly the right time. Your generosity turned an ordinary home repair into an extraordinary act of compassion that we will never forget. If you're looking for someone to build or repair your pool enclosure, lanai, screen room, pergola, soffit, fascia, railing, or virtually anything aluminum-related, don't just hire Murphy's Aluminum & Rescreens because they do excellent work. Hire them because they're excellent people. In today's world, that's becoming harder and harder to find.
