This is a pretty intense chicken place. Wouldn't say it's my favourite, i only ordered the salad so i really can't judge. but i still prefer chicken guy in disney springs or just chick fil la. the salad was king of generic and not that big of a deal. the milkshake i ordered was also really generic to any milkshake. so i would judge this restaurant pretty generic, pretty basic, but not bad, but not the best. i was very thankful that they decided to play taylor swift the second i got there. it was like they knew i was coming and making an entrance. so thank you pdq for that. another thing i'm thankful for is that they had a hand washing station. i'm not sure if that is like an unsanitary hazard to have it right by food, but it seemed like they care for us to wash our hands before we eat. i also really enjoyed the set up of the restaurant, from the menu, booths/tables, sauce area, ordering station, etc. was very organized. it wasn't as cheap as like a basic fast food area and you can tell they really showed effort. would i try something else here again? yes, probably if it's nearby and craving for fried chicken. read more

I tried this place on a whim since it was new to Clermont. They had a Citrus salad on the menu which caught my interest, so I tried it and was not unhappy. It was really, really delicious! The salad had roasted sweet potatoes, roasted broccoli, edamame, quinoa, baby greens corn, and plenty of grilled chicken. The citrus part came from a lime cilantro dressing which I opted to change to honey mustard. I had enough for both lunch and dinner. On a second visit there was a mistake in our drive through order and they were very quick to correct it with a full new item and a card for a treat on our next visit to compensate for having to return. The staff was very apologetic and friendly. Will definitely go back to this place-love that they use hormone free chicken and all natural bacon. Go PDQ! read more

My son & husband always want to go here when we're going to Lucky's. I like that it's quick, but I never feel like it's fast food. Always fresh, always hot chicken nuggets or sandwiches, or whatever we get. We've tried most the sauces at this point and my favorite is the creamy garlic. My husband likes the Siracha one. This place is what Chick Fila wishes it could be. I had the tenders with barbeque ranch, and the meat was super tender and juicy with a nice crisp flakey crust. I also recommend the bbq ranch for a great new flavor. My girlfriend had the nuggets which was also nothing short of delicious; let's just say we were satisfied. Was pretty good. There were 2 people in line when we came in and by the time we had finished ordering the line was wrapped around inside the store! Chicken was the best. Tender and juicy with light crispy batter. I liked the Thai dish, not spicy, but would have liked more veggies. Rice was dry and plain. Sweet potatoes were a bit dry also even with whipped toppings. Once the initial grand opening mob was over with, I found that getting in and out through either the drive thru or done-in is Quick, and all the young men and women who work here are friendly and helpful. Considering I live 25 minutes from here, a fast food chicken place is not something that would have been on my radar. Luckily, a couple of friends recommended this spot or I would've missed out on it. The PDQ stands for People Delivering Quality, and they certainly live up to their name. From the kind greeting at the door, to the friendly smile at the register, the manager checking in on us while we ate, and our tables being attended to quickly. The level of service was a treat that was enhanced by the food options. Don't be fooled by the generic menu on the PDQ website, as this location has more in store. (If you're on their website and select the Clermont location, a PDF with an expanded menu is available). I expected chicken tenders, chicken nuggets, and chicken sandwiches -- these items were all present, but so were salads and rice bowls. I ordered the peanut chicken rice bowl which was topped by fresh chopped mango; this was SO good. I'm usually not one to order a milkshake at a fast food spot (the meal is unhealthy enough as it is), but the seasonal offering truly had my name written all over it, and it didn't take much convincing to see if my boyfriend wanted to share. I don't know how long this item will be available, but I urge you to run and try the wonder that is the Coffee Cookie Crunch shake. They use Joffrey's coffee (one of my favorite brands) and blend it with Oreos - heaven in a cup. When I'm back in the Clermont area, I have a feeling I will find my way back to PDQ. read more

I was looking forward to trying this new restaurant since they opened. I waited almost 10 days after their initial opening thinking, im sure they will have figured out the kinks by now. Sadly it appeared they did not. I expected the wait to be long but not 46 minutes long being an inside Togo dinner. It took 20 minutes to even get to a cashier who wasnt very friendly. I had to keep correcting ger on my order. Then another 26 minutes until my food way ready. One of their drink machines were down and you couldnt get ice from the other so an employee stood infront of the condiment station so you couldnt get a straw, lid, napkins, ext without asking someone to pass or wait yet again. As for the food i ended up with an upset stomach from one bit of the zucchini fries i ordered due to them literally being saturated with grease. The classic salad i asked for ranch dressing and they gave me honey mustard. The salad gad more shredded carrots and purple cabage then lettuce. As for the chicken it was good but for the size i could have gotten a lot better for my money thats for sure. Very dissatisfied. read more

I was really excited when PDQ first opened and I got the pimento cheese sandwich and it was very good, but then the next 2 times I got it the cheese was loose and GROSS, almost like watery nacho cheese. Then I tried the honey butter sandwich and it was DISGUSTING. The bun was so SOGGY. The french fries are super LIMP and the zucchini fries were OILY. Believe the hype! PDQ is exactly what it stands for, People Dedicated to Quality. Today I had the chance to have lunch the day after their official grand opening. I purchased the Southern Pimento Crunch Chicken sandwich with the zucchini fries and their homemade sweet sriracha sauce. It was busy today because us Clermontonians love our fried chicken! The atmosphere was loud and had great music playing in the background. I'm sure the noise will die down after the first few months. The layout is open and it feels like a large community party when eating. It was nice to see everyone having a great time and enjoying their food. My food was out of this world and is the reason for me giving them 5 stars. They make it very well known that their chicken is never frozen and their sauces are made fresh daily. They even have delicious drinks being made in front of you. Their lemonade looked delicious but I avoided the sweet tooth today. Maybe next time.
