PE Square, did the inspections of my home when it was elevated in 2013, for Texas Windstorm Insurance. This required numerous visits during different stages of the lifting / elevating process to the final inspection. I recently decided to sell my house here in 2021, the real estate inspector that came out said one of the piers was not plumb, and caused concern for the buyer. I built a custom home with walkout basement in the College Station area. Although it was complex I was quite satisfied with the design package, and the communication among PE Square and my other contractors. However, the real test came several weeks after I moved in and experienced ground water issues with my basement level -- not due to the engineering or construction. Although they didn't have direct responsibility, Ricardo and his team were very concerned and helpful in determining a practical solution. They quickly located a qualified foundation contractor for me, and made several trips to my site to understand the conditions and consult on the resolution. Ricardo, M.J., and Angel produce fine engineering drawings. The CAD drawings are clean and perfect, very easy to read unlike some other drawings. My foundation company, framing company and windstorm company had no problems reading the drawings. Inspections were done in a timely manner. In today's climate be sure and ask for inspection letters on pre-pour, framing, and final inspection. Many warranty companies do not understand the windstorm process in Texas. Ricardo will make sure you are taken care of properly. Pay the little extra for all inspection letters and do it correctly in order to meet your FHA and government loan requirements. read more
