They were very thorough in what they inspected. It took about 45 minutes to do their adjustments in the home and another 30 inspecting the outside of our house. When they finished they went over everything with me and quoted out a price. The evaluation was free and their price was lower than a few competitors so we used them. They showed on time at the date agreed upon. They got to work quick. The foremans names was Marco. He was really good at getting everything set up. He had copies of what needed to be done. He was able to get the entire job completed in two days with 28 piers being placed. They used covers on the ground and got all of the dirt put back together. I was happy that some of the cracks in the home closed. The brick work gaps were also closed. They sent an email with the warranty after as well.

Church was contracted by our home insurance company to execute the repair. It was a long and drawn-out process, especially since the more they explored the foundation the more problems they discovered with the build. Although Church was technically working for our insurance company, our point person Grant Dodson made it very clear at all times that he was very focused on us feeling well taken care of. He was incredibly responsive, replying to messages literally at all hours, 7 days a week. He worked hard to over-deliver on what Church was technically obligated to perform. This was one of the first bright spots in a 3-year process filled mostly with stress and aggravation. I have given Barry Feldt every opportunity to make this right. He has not kept his word on anything that he said he would do to correct this. In 2/18, nearly a year after the floor was installed, he was going to send workers out to fix it. I told him not to bother unless he was going to tear it all out and start over, at no cost to me. Heard nothing back. I filed a small claims suit 10/18. When the court went to serve him, the address was not valid. The address on their website is only a mailbox service on Westheimer, not an office. Had a conversation with Mr. Feldt in January of this year. He agreed to refund my money AND fix the floor. The next day he told me he did not agree to that because he couldn't afford to give me a refund and pay his workers. He would refund my money since I had already had it fixed. Not what I told him at all. Then in March of this year he agreed to pay me $7K, and I would sign a release so he would no longer be held responsible for the flooring. That has not happened so I'm pursuing further legal action at my own expense. Don't trust this company with ANYTHING!!!!

Jack Dempsey came out today to a home my clients were buying. The inspector had found a few small…read morecracks in the foundation and advised my buyers to seek further evaluation from a professional. This is especially since this neighborhood of older homes has had its fair share of homes that have settled and either needed or had foundation repair work done, and driveways and sidewalks that have cracked. Jack took his time to carefully take all of the measurements needed and explained to us his findings, even though it was evident to him early on that this particular home was very sound. He was there for over an hour since it was a large house (not to mention that he was really early and waited on us) for the measurements, and then showed us his drawings and measurements to confirm to us that the home did not need any foundation work done. We were very relieved to hear that. As a Realtor, I especially appreciated his honesty and integrity, and from now on, whenever any of my clients, colleagues--or anyone at all--asks me to refer a foundation company to them, I will be happy to send them over to Perma Pier and request Jack Dempsey. They were professional and didn't hesitate to provide lots of information. The price was much lower than I was expecting it to be. The crew came out about a week later and they did a great job with the home. It is a pier and beam foundation on a 100 year old home. The floors inside had as much as 4" in variance, and they took it to just about all even. They finished by 3pm that same day, and the foreman and assistant were very easy to work with, and with a large coordinated crew, they got the work done quickly and did a fantastic job.
