A new place that is OK, but could be great. SLOW service. All I saw was a lot of standing around for 20 minutes, at which point I had to remind them to make my cappuccino. They were NOT busy today. Even slower wifi - beyond useless! I couldn't even check my email. Coffee: Ordered a 12 oz cappuccino - the froth was excellent, however there was no flavor to the espresso! No PPE at POE! Not a safe place to grab a coffee. Coffee is great and the machine pulling shots is amazing. But this coffee shop is not being responsible nor encouraging this of their patrons either. Covid restrictions are posted on the door and social distancing stickers are on the floor, but employees and customers alike are not following them. Employees preparing the new food menu were not wearing masks nor gloves. Same with employees pulling shots and serving customers. Tables ate not being cleaned between uses and transactions are high contact, although they are bot accepting cash for some reason. Hypocrisy everywhere. And it is even posted on the door. Perhaps waiting until this crisis is over is a good idea and someone should mention to management that a balance can be achieved. read more

This coffee shop is really good! the atmosphere, the coffee, the decor and the breads are all fantastic and i love the energy in it! Although, the customer service is less then decent. both times i have been the employees have been very unhelpful, answering questions with one word, no formal greetings or smiles, and never asked any clarifying questions, and just overall seemed miserable and angry to be there. I didn't let it ruin my experience, although i did feel frustrated having to lead the conversation with my questions, while getting judging stares of annoyance. I understand having a bad day, but two visits in a row from different employees have been really frustrating and took away from the experience. everything else was absolutely fantastic, i hope this is something a manager or owner can talk with employees about fixing, it would make this place a 10/5 star rating. read more

Riverton location! Total shit show! We waited 30 min to have our coffee order taken. We have our orders taken and the waits another 20 minutes and then someone took our drinks and it took the girl 10 more minutes to make it again. Forget about asking someone for help because everyone's in their own planet! Total let down! And the coffee was awful! Poorly made and everyone was reading how to make the coffee in a book! Unfortunately, they never make a sign or label when they are out of ingredients for their food. I wish I could say that it was just a one time thing, but it has been the case the last FIVE times I have gone there. You are only informed that they don't have avocados, potatoes, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, or anything else they are frequently out once you reach the end of an oftentimes very long line. I've even had them try to pass me a sandwich with just meat without ever telling me it would have no veggies as the item is supposed to. They have often acted rude about it. Don't get me wrong, I love the quality of their food and what they have to offer. It's unique that they serve alcohol around here. They just need to be careful about wasting the time of loyal customers who like their food. Once, I can understand. But after 5 consecutive bad experiences I just hope the person in charge reads this and either makes sure to have the ingredients for their menu items, or clearly label that they don't have them so as to avoid wasting everyone's time. Update: make that 7 times of rude service, not having several essential ingredients without caring to make a sign to save their customers time, and acting arrogant and rude after being asked when they will have their ingredients in. If I this wasn't a novelty right now, I wouldn't have tried so many times. It's some of the worst service I've seen in Provo. I can't think of anything worse. They seem self assured because they opened a store the Provo area had been needing. This place is probably the most busy coffee shop in provo, I enjoy that they have matcha that's not pre sweetened. Most of the ladies with long hair who work there do not keep their hair up, and that would not fly around any food/drink places for health code. I have been here twice. Both times the customer service was minimal, there seemed to be a lot of standing around and not very friendly or helpful employees. My biggest complaint is both times I've been there have been big dogs inside, I think they belong to the employees, which that in itself is extremely gross to be in a restaurant. Today I went with my family and the dog sat and sniffed around at our feet waiting for food to drop, we kept trying to shoo it away but it wouldn't budge. The employee tried once to call the dog away from us but didn't succeed and then didn't try again. And their coffee isn't very great, It's pricey and doesn't taste very great.
