This coffee shop is super cute and I love that it supports local artists. It's located in a perfect spot downtown with super cute shops surrounding it. The baristas were all super sweet. It was busy inside so I know this place is a hit. I ordered an iced latte with toasted marshmallow and English toffee. It was delicious! I shared a chocolate croissant with some family and that was delicious as well. The inside is super cute as well and I love that the place is dog friendly. They have treats on the counter and dog bowls for the dogs to drink from. I would come here again, and maybe come back with my dog :) read more

I've been coming to this awesome coffee shop for three years now. The vibe, ambience, menu options and employees have always been amazing. The coffee, espresso and every caffeinated drink I've ordered from this establishment has been of quality and great taste. My usual go-to's are either a double espresso, cold brew or red-eye. All are regularly fantastic. Everything I've ordered has always tasted great, I've never been disappointed. I usually try to come shortly after open to get some studying in. In the early hours, studying is possible! It does have the capability of being a more social space, which is a vibe as well! Today, I ordered a cold brew and the breakfast bowl. The flavor of the cold brew was perfect and the effects were spot on. The breakfast bowl was filling and the choices of ingredients were both interesting and tasty. I had two over easy eggs (cooked perfectly) over roasted potatoes, black beans bacon and then there was avocado and a chipotle aioli on top. The combo of it all played so well and I felt full and satisfied. Parking is readily available in front of the cafe and on the side. It depends on the time-of-day and the day that you come in. Mornings prove easier to find a spot, however, I do know Sunday brunch time is usually more difficult to find parking. Overall, Peace on Earth is one of my favorite coffee shops in Utah! I am not an avid coffee drinking but when I'm on vacation I love myself a latte in the morning! My husband and I were staying in Provo for a work event of his. We went for a stroll one morning and passed peace on earth and decided to walk in, so glad that we did! The ambiance is very cute and cozy. It is spacious with comfy chairs to regular tables and enough room for all! Good music plays and the place gets pretty packed! We went with the specialty drink, the Amy Winehouse (charcoal latte with lavender and white chocolate) and OMG! The lavender and white chocolate is creamy and a perfect combination of both, not too sweet. It reminds me of biting into a perfectly roasted marshmallow, that first taste of sweet charcoal that you get. The charcoal taste is just a tiny hint but makes the color of the drink beautiful. The best part, 16oz is only $4 for such a special drink. We were immediately sold. One of the best lattes I have ever had! read more

Was visiting from Las Vegas when we stopped here on a Sunday before flying back home. (We tried to find other places but there's not too many options on a Sunday as things tend to be closed) we loved the vibe here! Cozy atmosphere, people were able to bring their dogs in which was too cute. We saw a bowl of dog biscuits at the counter for fur visitors haha! We were greeted by a really friendly woman at the counter, wait wasn't long but it was hard to find the food menu before getting to the register without feeling rushed to make a decision. (They have a good menu at register) we ordered a hot vanilla latte (which was tasty!) and we ordered an ice tea (which was served with melted ice unfortunately but still tasted great) we didn't want to bother anyone for a cup of ice since it was pretty busy inside. Many college kids hang here reading or doing homework. Nice seating outside with beautiful view is snowy mountains. I've been dying for a dine in coffee moment over this past year, obviously with covid that wasn't happening. Luckily, things are slowly opening back up so I was excited to try a new spot! It was time for my book club to meet and we needed a spot to discuss our book and we needed some coffee to go along with the discussion. This place is adorable! Very hip vibe inside. Lots of seating (but gets busy as the day goes on so get there early to secure a spot.) The coffee was great, I tried the Harry Potter with almond milk and it was delicious. We also tried the beignets and they were very good. Not a huge fan of the chocolate drizzle on top, we all said they'd be better with the toppings on the side but regardless they hit the spot! Not too many watering holes for coffee and even less for alcohol in the area. To my surprise this place serves some of the best of both - with a beautiful ambiance to boot. Parking is free, plentiful, and street side. The cafe is extremely cozy and welcoming with both casual lounge type seating and more work oriented tables. They also have great wifi for studying and streaming. The outdoor patio is open but the gas heaters are out of commission so come on a warmer day if you're worried about heat. My boyfriend and I have tried a variety of the coffees and specialty cocktails and though both could be a bit stronger, the ~vibes~ (and open late hours) of the place keep us coming back. In all seriousness I have not seen a cafe of this nature (open late with creative drinks, a beautiful day to night interior transition) in either the metropolitan areas of NYC and LA. Love love love! As one of the few full bars / Brunch places in Utah county the bar for Peace on Earth Coffee was pretty low...that being said they exceeded my expectations and fully deserve 5 stars. Their brunch is good, their coffee is strong and their cocktails are well mixed. I dr30 minutes ti go here and it was well worth the drive. I will say expect a wait and the free water situation needs works but I would recommend anyone in the area looking for some Sunday morning cocktails and brunch to stop by. read more

This is an adorable little coffee shop with original drinks and food options. The ambiance is laid back and puts me in a social mood. The food tastes amazing! I'm skeptical maybe I just came on an off night so this doesn't hold mucg weight because everyone loves this place but it wasn't quite what I was expecting for a mocha. Extraction tasted alright but too much water which over-diluted the drink sadly. I'll be back to give this place another shot as I've heard awesome things and I'm excited that we have one in Riverton now close to home and have heard great things. Visiting the Provo area and stopped by Peace on Earth. Yelped coffee and saw this as one of the top options so we decided to give this a try. If I ever pass through Provo I would definitely stop here! I ordered a lavender matcha and it reminded me of Better Buzz's lavender black tea latte which I love. We also got a small vanilla latte which is ur classic iced coffee and also ordered an iced apple cider. The apple cider reminded me of taking a bite into a flavorful apple pie. I love this coffee shop, and most of my friends do. Good food and drinks. Good service that always motivates us to tip generously. However, recently a bizarre incident here, involving someone I suspect is a regular, has led me to the conclusion that I am better off drinking coffee and cocktails at home. I do not want to blame the baristas here too much. I wonder if they are trained to handle unstable people. So, last Monday my friend and I are sitting and sipping our drinks. Talking about various things and we keep getting interrupted by a stocky long haired white presenting man. First, he stands too close for my comfort, and rants about "my people having oppressed his" or something like that. It was a word salad. Then, after a while he decides he will help me with my legal expenses (uhm, I do not have any), at which point my friend politely tells him to leave us alone and not interrupt a private conversation. This angers him. Then, a little later, he yells at us about how our conversation is not private because we are being too loud (uhm, we aren't, I mean I am a brown woman living in Utah Valley and fairly quiet. Do not like to draw attention to myself. Try to avoid the inevitable "and where are you from???" questions). This harasser also accuses us of badmouthing "liberals." He screams that we cannot "cuss out an entire demographic." Now, I am no stranger to cussing when necessary but the choicest words he hurls at us under the guise of repeating what we were saying are lies, fantasy, the rage of an indecent unstable man upset at not being able to participate in strangers' private conversations. I report this to the barista and he apologizes, he seems sincere. As we are leaving, this harasser tries to pick a fight again. That is when I inform him that men are not entitled to women's time, attention, and energy, and please could he stop harassing us? To this he repeats his imaginary charge of us being unfair to liberals (note this is less than an hour after he offered legal help to me, for who knows what, he thought I was a liberal cause). So, here's the thing. My friend and I were discussing our relatives dying from cancer, a couple of legal cases faced by universities, and our boring lives as professors. This man, who claimed he "was being perfectly civil" decides to harass us, launching into what sounds like a schizophrenic rant. As a woman of color, this is not new. Men demanding my time and attention, demanding that I talk to them. Demanding that I smile. Demanding that I stay quiet. So, I guess I prefer my beverages with a side of peace and I neither will go to this place, nor engage with folks that identify as defenders of liberalism through harassment (the irony of that is beyond the scope of this review). Folks that target the one person of color in the public spaces of Provo to harass with impunity. And businesses watch helplessly. Too bad, just too bad. read more

My favorite part of this coffee shop is the atmosphere. The overall vibe is positive and cozy. I like that they post about local events going on. I went to study here a few times (there are outlets for chargers which is a plus), but it can get easily crowded and loud. Stopped in after visiting the hot springs outside of Provo. Only came into town to pick up a package but after seeing this coffee shop on the corner, we decided to pop in for a bit. Gorgeous corner shop. Lots of natural light and ample seating with *gasp* working power outlets. As any nomad or WFH enthusiast can attest, coffee shops with working power outlets can be hard to find. Bonus perk: they serve alcohol. Double bonus perk, you have to order food with said drink. So I got to steal my wife's danish, she got her lemon something or another, and I got to enjoy my iced chai. Which was a wee bit sweet, but I'm not a fan of sweet drinks. Even for me though, it was delicious. If I was in town longer, I'd 100% order it again as a treat after a few cups of real coffee. Sadly, didn't take any photos which was a derpy moment for me. It cannot compete with the Latin pastries from the coffee shop Cuban and Parisian inspired in the same street, but the atmosphere in Peace on Earth is divine! Tons of different spaces: coach with sleeping dog, various seats with tables and comfy chairs, interesting decor, you will always find a statement written somewhere that will trigger a smile. My favorite coffee spot in Provo. Great coffee and tea along with great food. I always appreciate it if you can just get a great cup of plain old coffee and you can here. Mixed coffe drinks are all the same to me. They also make a great Chai tea latte. I highly recommend the breakfast bowl. I have several food sensitivities so there's plenty that I haven't tried on the food menu. But when my wife gets a sandwich she loves it. Staff is always friendly and on top of things even though it's always busy whenever I go. So cute. Loved coming to Provo and getting a taste for where the students go. Everyone was on a laptop or reading a textbook or novel. I ordered a latte with pump of lavender, which is a rare flavor to get (at least where I live) and I was pleased to see it was an option. They had a variety of specialty drinks, too, which was really cute - all of them seemed a little too sweet or off the beaten path but if I came often, I'd probably switch it up and try one. One option was Peanut Butter Jelly latte. LOL The drinks were reasonably priced though kombucha seemed a bit expensive. Finally - great decor. Lots of seating, countertops, etc. Nice couch to chill on. And they went INTO the Halloween decor in a really cute, kitschy, fun way. read more

I got a dirty chai, my daughter got a regular chai, and my son(he's 6) kept saying that he wanted ice cream. We had high hopes but this was just totally underwhelming. We subbed in the GF bread on a sandwich. It was dry and crumbly with very little flavor. Understandably, it can hard to have good GF bread. The sandwich was supposed to have pesto but it was spread so very thin I couldn't wven taste it. The turkey was basic Oscar Meyer turkey with a slice of basic mozarella block slides a half inch thick. The sandwich overall was dry and huge (not in a good way) - (and it wouldn't have been so bad to have it thick if it was fresh mozarella! Just... not good. I don't even drink coffee, but there's still so much to love about this place: 1-It's dog friendly! It's hard to find places you can bring dogs in Provo. They have free dog treats, and they even sell "puppyccinos", which my pup can't get enough of. 2-They support other local businesses. They sell products from small businesses, like rings, mugs, straws, and other fun little finds. 3-They do their part to be good to the environment, like offering discounts for bringing your own mug, selling reusable straws, etc. it's just little, simple things, but I wish other businesses would follow their example. 4-The ambiance is warm, inviting, and laid back. I do a lot of work from home, and this is a perfect place to focus, without being too quiet. 5-Finally, they offer a lot of good drink options other than coffee.
