The spa suites are located on the eighth floor. The facial was pretty standard, slightly mediocre. There were awkward technical issues with the steamer, which took her about five minutes to fix. She did apologize for the issues and ended up getting it working. At the end she had to collect her belongings which is also a little awkward. It would've been great if she could've got the bath started so I didn't have to wait 15 minutes for it to fill up. You have 25 minutes to relax in the room and take a bath or a shower or use the sauna. This would be an excellent experience or well worth it if they allowed more time. The bath took 10 minutes to fill up/figure out and I only had 15 minutes left. 15 minutes is not enough for a bath and to get ready. I would've really enjoyed the amenities if I was allowed more time. I would say 45 minutes would be ideal. I think they should price higher if needed and give people this time. Without time to enjoy the amenities the spa is really just average. I like the brand of soap that they had available and that it is in a private room. Overall, everything just felt very rushed and not relaxing like a spa should be.

Instead it was in two guest rooms converted into somewhat cramped rooms. SMH Would have expected more from both the hotel and where it's located. We were told we could grab a bite to eat in the restaurant on the 9th Floor in between services. The restaurant was Closed! Then we were told we could grab a coffee and a quick bite downstairs in the Lobby. Apparently the person we saw at the bar on the way in to our 10:00AM left because when I came downstairs the bar was Closed. So now I must wait 45 minutes for my husband, hungry and thirsty. Would not recommend this Spa to anyone. Definitely didn't start our Wedding Anniversary activities well. Prayerfully it will get better.

Typically, you start by changing into a soft robe and sipping on tea or water in a calm waiting room. Then I LOVE the salt room therapy. It's like stepping into a mini private beach with salt rocks for sand. There are beach like chairs to relax in while you breathe deep and meditate away. Then depending on your package, enjoy a lovely facial and massage with relaxing atmosphere and calming music. As part of the package or separately I also love to get manicures and pedicures here! The technicians are great and the experience is really nice and feels private with only 2 chairs for each service so it's not over crowded. I'm already looking forward to going again!

I used to go to Pink in Bloomingdale and loved it but I moved. I don't know if all salons do this but Asha has "levels" of stylists. If you get an intern, which I did, a haircut is only $20. And educator is with the intern every step of the and when your hair done, the educator refines is while teaching the intern. My intern was Claire. She was unbelievable. I showed her and the educator some pics I collected and they started talking shop. It was almost a different language. Wow. Even the way she stands, literally, the way Claire was standing makes a difference, I guess with the wrists. Claire explained what she was doing, really friendly, easy to talk to, very enthusiastic, the time flew by. I felt kind of special because I helped her learn a new technique that was relatively complicated. If you can get an intern to do your hair, jump on it. For $20? And an educator is right there, wow.
