Unethical business owner. The worst experience I have had with an "aesthetician." Preface: Mila texted me 30 min before our appt while I was already on the way, saying she was 30 min behind. During our service, she mentioned she wanted to use the hot towel on my face to remove the peel because she was too tired to do otherwise. I came in for a microdermabrasion. Mila noticed I had milia on my face and strongly suggested a peel. She was very confident it would do two things: 1) erase the milia (small bumps on my face) and 2) make my skin glow. What she also very confidently said was that I would 1) have some slight flaking of skin and 2) absolutely no breakouts. What actually happened was the opposite. No flaking, a bad break out (for me personally), still have the bumps on my face and no glowing skin. After paying $120 and seeing these results, I reached out to Mila and she had the audacity to blame it on my hormones. A complete cop out. Nothing has changed in my diet, medication, etc. I thought a partial refund was fair, and I asked her to contact me at a time that worked for her. Instead, she ended up blocking my number. Believe me when I tell you this woman will do nothing for you once she has your money. If she likes you, it's because you come back to $ee her and whatever she's doing is luckily working for you. She is a great sales woman, but be weary of her persuasiveness and promises. I have always had good skin with no real problems and regret coming here to have my face littered with acne and bumps I've never seen before, with no help or good faith to reconcile. Update: it's comical her response is that it's impossible to reason with someone that has a bad attitude when her idea of "reasoning" w someone is to ignore them. Unfortunately my experience with Mila was not one that I am pleased with. After charging me full price for a service that I initially found on Groupon, she sold me products that broke my skin out terribly. When I contacted her about this, she blew me off and told me to continue using the products. She wasn't helpful at all and wasn't willing to do anything for me regarding these products that she guaranteed would work for me. Over $400 down the drain. As soon as I discontinued use of these products, my skin began to clear up. I am very disappointed with her lack of customer service and her unwillingness to stand behind her guarantees. All products do not work for everyone yet she refuses to believe this. I have since cleared my skin with the expertise of a different esthetician and I will never use the products that Mila sold me again. UPDATE: In response to your reply... It's a shame that I had to bring my bank into this situation because you refused to provide good customer service by making sure that I was happy with your recommendations. Yes, I processed a claim about this situation therefore, I was refunded TEMPORARILY until the claim was further investigated. I lost my case because you refuse to stand by your recommendations and you lied to my bank and stated that I never contacted you about my dissatisfaction with your services. The full amount that I paid you will be deducted from my account as of 7/31. However, I will personally and happily return these gently used products to you if you agree to refund me. I had purchased a microderm package knowing I will need more than one treatment to tackle my troublesome adult acne problem. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! She is EVERYTHING that is wrong with the beauty industry. She makes women feel awful about their appearance so she can cash in and convince them they need her "miracle" products. This is unethical and she should be ashamed of herself.  Today I went for my facial and had the absolute worst experience. From the start she told me how much she hated when people came in for Groupon's because she made no money. She was an hour late. She was disrespectful in every way and made me feel TERRIBLE. "How do you walk around with your face looking like that" "The Irish have terrible skin" "Your scar is NOT pretty" ETC. I left her salon in tears at how awful the experience was. THEN she charged me an additional $100 on top of that because she said the groupon did not cover everything but never mentioned any additional charges. I appreciated Mila's work for my skin and it looks very good after her treatment - this is why I'm giving her a 4/5. She definitely solved the problems I was there to correct. However, I was essentially upsold for a chemical peel that I didn't have the budget for (even though I agree that I needed it), and she hurt my feelings in the beginning of the appointment with her commentary on my skin. I've never had an aesthetician speak that way about my skin during an appointment. It didn't feel like a positive environment, and her words hurt my feelings (I started to get emotional but was able to play it off as reacting to the extraction). I understand she's a professional in her field; however, there are ways to share how someone can improve their skin and routine without being hurtful. I don't believe it was her intention to make me feel that way, but it did. Mila is amazing! I started seeing her for microcurrent because gravity was beginning to get to my 46 year old face! I have been doing Botox for the last 5 years to help with the dreaded "elevens" and other forehead lines. I still had them and my brow started to look heavy, along with deepening nasolabial folds and the beginning of droopy looking jowels. I was a real mess! So Mila and her microcurrent to the rescue! Mila is simply amazing and knows skin care better than anyone I've ever met. She recommends skin care products based on your skin type. How do I know? I recommended Mila to my friend and she came back with completely different products in addition to flawless skin. Mila was super nice and the office was great, and that's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. I had a bad breakout and needed help, and I found using yelp, as the reviews were very good, but,maybe it was too late evening or I was just unlucky. Initially I was planning to do only facials, but as Mila said I needed peeling as well, so I agreed,as I was kind of desperate. After a few days I noticed still having some inflammations and that my skin was not peeling as it was when I did peelings before. I talked with Mila, and she explained that she did nit apply Retinol, because she did not want to damage my skin. Then why to suggest this procedure then and what is the purpose of this peeling without any peeling effect? She tried to fix the inflammations using darsonval', but it did not help and she refused to extract them as my skin might be damaged. Unfortunately for me not a great experience, paying more than $250 and still not satisfied, as I still had inflammations and did not have any effect of the peeling(((, but she was super nice though. read more

In the beginning, Mila seemed like a very sweet and caring lady. I struggle with scars, holes, and acne. After visiting Mila once, I felt so comfortable with her and felt as if God sent an angel because for soooooo long I tried so many products, procedures to get rid of the holes on my face. However, one day Mila requested I try a microneedling procedure that would cost $500 but would help get rid of the scars and holes. I was a bit skeptical but Mila insisted and assured me I would see results and my face would be way better. It takes about a week for the skin to stop peeling, so after the week my face felt smooth; however, it looked exactly the same. The holes were still there, the scars, acne. I decided to wait a while because I thought it'd get better but nothing changed. I messaged Mila to see if we could come up with an alternative solution. Because I am a college student and was experiencing financial difficulties of my own, the cost of the treatment was extremely hard to come up with let alone and I didn't have money for more procedures and products so I thought Mila would take ownership for pretty much lying to me on the fact that I would see a solution after spending so much money, but she didn't. I really wanted to like this place. I purchase a 6 treatment pack on groupon. I had 3 treatments done and I gave up the rest for the following two reasons. 1. The place is very small, crowded and awkward. Mila, seemed to be a nice lady who knows a lot about treating the skin and face but she was bit pushy on selling her products. During the treatments she never used any towels to wipe my face and the treatment was 10-15 minutes long (i have had the same type of treatments that cost about the same$ that lasted 45 minutes) - so I was not surprised when I did not notice any major results on my face. The second and main reason was when I missed my last appointment. That morning I was too busy and totally forgot about it and I figured that missing the appointment would cost me the same amount as one treatment. But i received a call from Mila and without going into details, the last time I got yelled at like that was when i was a child and by my Mother. When I apologized Mila got even angrier, louder and had a total meltdown and mentioned that the cost usually is $125. In summary if you can't afford more expensive places and want a half done type of work, then this is your place. You'll will get some useful tips from Mila. Again, I really wanted to like this place because Mila seems to be working hard on getting her business going but I just don't have the patience and I rather take my money to a more professional setting. read more
