The gym also quickly pivoted to offering Zoom classes at the beginning of the pandemic and continues tp offer one live Zoom every day along with sending out a recording. All of the equipment gets cleaned after each class and members have their own "square" to stay distanced during class. Another great aspect of the gym is that you get to know people on a personal level which makes coming to class something to look forward to.

There is a welcoming front desk upon entering, and moving back into the space you'll find two separate yoga studios, a bathroom (with shower) and cubbies for storing your things during class. The instructor Erica was very thorough and helpful but also really fun. She made sure that the silks were the right height before we began and then after demonstrating the poses, she walked around checking that everyone was safe in the silk and properly aligned. My muscles were incredibly happy with both the yummy stretches and the upper body and core strength needed to get into or go deeper into the postures. The stretches and savasana in the silk were the perfect ending to such a fun and challenging but incredibly grounding class. After such a great experience, I can't wait to try the other yoga classes offered!

There's also traditional mat yoga which is great for strength training as well. Pricing is also really affordable. Unlimited classes for 35$ in the first month. The easiest thing is to sign up online and then sign up for classes through there. I would definitely recommend you reserve a spot online because some classes are super popular. Each posture was done with intention with a luxurious, long hold that help me feel a wonderful stretch. My favorite part of the class was the supported shoulder stand which was propped up with a number of blankets and a chair that helped my back feel so open and stretched out. Located in downtown, Middletown, CT, Vinnie's is home to a bunch of different alternative classes, including (but not limited to) Yoga, Belly dancing, swing, B-Boying, and the list does not stop there. This is the dance school that seems to caters to adults first, and then the children. The ages of folks taking these classes varies from 17 to 67 and probably beyond! The classes are also affordable. As a bboy, I stepped into a swing-dancing club night there and it was amazing - they treated me like one of their locals and when the beat was right, I was able to do my thing and they loved it. It was a great show of reciprocated respect and admiration for how we expressed ourselves. Anyway, I would take a look at Vinnie's, see their schedule and take a class or two! Anytime, offers an open door policy, which eases things to fit your own time line. Not everyone would like the follow-up text messages if you "skip" a few days, but I found (felt the guilt) this encouraging. This facility in Cromwell, is spacious. Three basic sections: Cardio (bikes, ellipticals, treadmills, and a rower), Strengthening (free weights & circuit machines) - this area is a bit too crammed for my comfort, then the Group Room (nice space for group classes with too much to summarize). Trainer prowl the space and are available for any questions or concerns. Just watch the "Up Sell" pitch. They offer four private changing/showering rooms; 2 unisex changing only and 2 others, 1 Male & 1 Female with showers. There's also a small comfortable sitting area near the front door to catch-up with others and your social media (free WiFi w/ a password). Speaking of media, the Cardio section is well equipped with sets to entertain you to ease the monotony of the drill and to keep your pace steady. However, I've found the reception (possible Dish) prone to interruption. My lesson learned, bring a back-up such as a Phone and Bluetooth buds. In closing, the clientele, people of all ages, shapes and genders. It's so encouraging seeing those older than me and that margin tightens with each passing years. It has been good for years up until November of last year when we got our new one. The place has sadly gone down hill. The paper towel are never replace even when staff and doing nothing.i know they train people to do travel paths every so often because Everyone else did. I would love to wipe down the equipment n dry my hands once and awhile. The equipment was all rearrange in ways that don't make sense and not very safe. I and other member have come close to being hurt with it being so close to each other. I hate for someone to get hurt n they come after anytime. The evolve scale that was on the floor for years for all member to use is lock away in one of the offices for only clients to use. I would love to use it again n keep track of my progress like i use to when all member had the chance to use at any time of the day n not just clients at certain times, we all pay good money to use these perks. I brought all this up to the "front desk person" few months ago. I was given the run around and felt intimidated about my concerns which is not very professional I hope someone from cooperate can contact me and look into the situation or we can bump up the time for The next new front desk guy to come in. still haven't been contacted by area manager or owners. Texting isn't a professional way to contact someone especially when the whole review is about that person. Going to have to write these review on other platforms now.
