The offerings are fresh and often local as well (honey, hot sauces, and crackers to name a few). They have nice rewards (in particular the birthday month reward), as well as offer discounts to folks that work in downtown Boulder. Some of my fave products purchased at this location are Brooklyn Everything Bagel Blend, their Seed Ranch Umami Reserve hot sauce, and Old Mill Pizza Sprinkle. Getting there is quite easy as well as they are just a couple blocks from the bus station and located directly next to a parking garage (free parking Sat & Sun). If visiting isn't on your agenda no worries, you can order your faves directly on their website. It's a great idea to drop in anytime you are downtown. They completely denied my claim for reimbursement. Additionally, when I called on August 20, 2014, they promised a full refund within 4 to 6 weeks. I received a reduced amount in mid-December. MaraNatha is one of many Hain Celestial products. Hain did not refund as promised, and they refused to stand behind their product. And this was expensive nut butter - $16 a jar. They could not care less about having caused my illness and having to cancel a long planned trip. What a lousy company! I will never buy one of their products again.

(Other flavors include lemon & cherry tarts, ginger & cinnamon snaps, spearmint & peppermint.) These are teeny candies in a tin. You can get them at Whole Foods as well as other places. On the inside of each lid is a quote, like "Be vigilant; guard your mind against negative thoughts." ( - Buddha ). The candies contain nothing artificial or animal, which is why I can justify eating so many of them. Also, 10% of the profits from the product are donated to the Ethno-Medicine Preservation Project to support the preservation of the medicinal plant knowledge of indigenous cultures. Somethings were very unique. The staff had time to answer questions and apparently Saturday was so mobbed that they had a lot less time for each, than what I got today. There were food products, specialty sauces, cooking tools and so much more. Shirts, aprons, tote bags and other branded items. There were a few small electrics like a bread machine. We ordered multiple appetizers, had several drinks, sat at the bar for quite a while, and honestly about to leave thinking this was a place we would probably come back to. That changed the second the bill arrived. Buried into the check was a 7% "kitchen surcharge." In other words, the restaurant decided to pass along kitchen payroll costs directly onto the customer without being upfront about it. If you're not paying close attention, you could easily end up tipping on top of that surcharge as well, essentially paying an extra hidden fee without realizing it. At a restaurant positioning itself as upscale and classy, this came across as incredibly tacky and cheap. Pay your staff properly and price your menu accordingly instead of sneaking surprise fees onto the bill at the very end. That's not hospitality. That's the kind of nickel and diming people expect from budget airlines, not a supposedly high end dining experience. It completely ruined what had otherwise been a nice night. We were seriously considering coming back before this happened. Now we won't return.
