This is such a neat and quaint little farm bistro! My toddler and I went on Memorial Day, and they were surprisingly open! You are able to order directly from tablets that go through the food options with descriptions and pictures. The tablets allow you to pay and grab your order number without needing to talk to another person (love that!). They also have a farm store next to their kitchen, where you can buy fresh peaches, sweet corn, spinach, homemade ice cream, homemade lemonade and farm fresh milk, and plenty of hand-baked goodies and sweets! This bistro located at Amadio Ranch offers so much great options -- from fresh salads, to comforting dishes like chicken pot pie, everything is made fresh and from scratch! Seating is all outdoors but there are misters and shade to keep relatively cool during these summer days. There is a kiosk to order or you can also order online. I haven't eaten an actual meal here but I am obsessed with their fried pickles! They are so tasty and I'm addicted. My daughter has enjoyed their chicken tender meal. We have loved their desserts: pie in a cup and brownie sundae have been a hit! The brownie is huge and fudgey, smothered with chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream. Cute space with a cute experience. There are farm animals in the back that you can feed and a kids playground for entertainment. We came on a Saturday afternoon and someone greeted us and told us to order on the ziosk. I ordered the Rachurrito burrito and got the Mac and cheese bites to start. Kids ordered from Peach pit Bistro - tenders and my 12yo was feeling adventurous and tried the pulled pork sandwich! They both enjoyed their meals and finished. OMG... is this such a gem! We drove 30 mins from Tempe on 602 day. We had a discount on our meal for the special day which is what got us out here, we didn't even know this place existed! We got peach smoothies, fried pickles, blueberry pie a la mode, BLT, and farm burger. I think the best part was the ambience, sitting in the middle of the garden, and the sweets!!!! As well as the farm store, their pickled okra was knock your socks off, peach pie was alright I'm not so much into spicy pies! Anyways, food was surprisingly ok for the price! Would I go again? Yes! Would I take a family here, kids, or my parents? Yes!!! For the price, the food should be a little better. The pickles need more flavor, the burger was just okay. My husband and I rode our bikes here to grab some dessert. I got the peach smoothie and he got the milkshake. Both were fresh and delicious! The smoothie is dairy free. You can order at the kiosk outside and when your food is ready they will call your order number and text you. Very convenient! Keep in mind it is outdoor seating only. There are misters and fans as well as shade. We came around sunset on a 100 degree day and it was totally fine! Love all the photo opportunities around and if you walk to the side you'll find a more private setting. My favorite little farm in Laveen It is family owned and run while supporting the community with its local goodness. Farm has goats, pigs, cows, and a llama in the back while you wait for your food. I love the fudge (amaretto is my FAVORITE), the pies are incredible and locally sourced if not straight from their own gardens as well as their ice cream and pickled okra. They even have an express menu that is fresh food ready within 10 minutes! The service is super quick and I usually order online so can see whenever it's ready and I can pick it up or get it delivered! If you eat there, it's really nice because you order on a little kiosk that you can pay with Apple Pay and card. They have a bunch of benches and tables throughout the farm that you can eat at. During the warmer season, they have fans and misters and during the cold they have little heaters for the picnic tables. There wasn't much seasoning, if any, on the burger, and the bun is a plain lightly toasted white bread. Not a huge fan of the plain steak fries. Little crisper and salty would have been swell. There's so many goodies to go through, and the Apple Pie was alright, a bit soft for my liking. Best item is the hand-pressed $4 Strawberry Lemonade! Located at the Amadio Ranch in Laveen, this little gem is a nice little bistro that really offers a homey feel to it. Owners are super attentive and friendly and try the best to offer a safe space for their local community. I've been a customers for many years and always supported them since before the bistro opened so once they announced they were going to open up onsite food options I was ecstatic. Since the bistro has been open I have gone several times. I've tried their pancakes, pancake bacon sticks, breakfast pizza, cheese curds, strawberry lemonade, Christina's garden salad, potato bowl, build your own burger, Tuscan potato bowl, chicken tenders, and the tenderloin sandwich. Overall the bistro offers good food. They're new and still experimenting on what works and doesn't. When it comes to pricing it is somewhat average to most restaurants nowadays. Some items are a bit higher priced however it could be due to using more natural or local ingredients which is great if you're paying for quality. I like how they really listen to their customers to determine what works and doesn't. The only cons I can say at this time is the wait time for the online ordering system. It defaults to a standard 20-25 mins which I've experienced could be as fast as 10 mins and late as 40 mins. I'm not sure if that can be adjusted as I seen other restaurants online system being able to adjust their wait times based off how busy they are. The other thing is sometimes the lack of consistency. I have had items that tasted great the first and them not so great the next time. I am understanding and know it's a work in progress and I believe the kinks will work themselves out the longer they remain open. As the words from the owner "One of the big things you need to know about us that run the farm is that we are just average humans trying to do a great job... we are all here working our craft and trying to do the best job possible. If you are looking for an slick corporate style experience here you're likely to be disappointed. If you are looking for a place that people will actually know who you are and care about you, we do that. If you are looking for a place to take your kids to show them how food is grown, we do that! Okay, the only thing thats wrong with this place is it too far away to justify a daily visit To start, the peaches are insanely good. They make store bought peaches taste like dry fake fruit. My overall experience with this food is Great, however in the past two orders of chicken fried steak dinner, the steaks were under cooked and very mushy. My very first order of this same meal was crispy and very delicious. All chicken fried steaks at any restaurant are always fried to a crispy crunchy delight. Porsha is really nice- actually everyone there isn't The cheese curds are good! Farm girl burger was yummy. My son devoured the chicken strips and fries (and often asks to go back again). I was very unimpressed with the pot roast and cornbread. Both lacked flavor and were dry. That won't deter me From going back and trying something new though. Okay so where do I start? A farm with cows and goats and pigs llamas and goats with a big produce field and freezers with homemade pies and fudge and all sorts of stuff. I haven't even mentioned the restaurant yet. So this place may be my new favorite place in the entire valley. Everything is freshly made and there is so much to do and see on the farm with the animals and all the different flora and plants and movies being shown on weekends for the kids. This is a true family-owned local business that deserves to be supported. Even at the farm there are machines for a quarter that will dispense food so the family can give some love to all the farm animals. So let me get to the food. I started out with sweet corn nuggets which are basically what they are there chicken nugget looking things with sweet corn in them and they were absolutely tremendously great. The sweetness was so rich in this corn and of course it was grown on the premises. I also had a pulled pork sandwich for my main course. I am a real stickler when it comes to barbecued pulled pork. This was tender, excellent rub, just the right amount of sauce and no toppings or extra stuff just let it sit with the bun and that's it. This was unbelievably off the charts. I cannot even believe how great this place was as far as the food, the service, the atmosphere, walking around for an hour or two and just taking it all in. Now just a bit of information that this place is in Laveen which is south of the valley so it'll take you a little while to get there but trust me this is one trip you want to make.
