I had found this place on TikTok so I had to try! It did not disappoint! The ambiance inside and outside was cute photo worthy! Food was delicious! Service was nice. I will be back soon!

The aesthetics of this place when you walk in are very cool. I like the decorations and a heart shaped seat to take your social media pics. Music a little loud for me but that's just me. Very clean with outdoor seating available. Friendly staff greeted us. Emily took our order and took care us. The food was delicious and I can't wait to explore the menu. If it's your birthday they will play las mañanitas for you along with little cake Clean bathrooms made me smile.

This is a very cute place Food is wonderful. The only reason I am giving this place a four star is for the service. They had a line out the door and very busy. With this kind of response they need to add helpers. The waitress is overwhelmed. You need a person that comes around checking on drinks. You can be as slow as can be but please make sure you keep up with the drinks. They have a lot to choose from in drinks. Alcohol to non alcoholic drinks. I was surprised that with all the different coffee selections they did not have iced tea. Would go back and will recommend. Just need to step us the service.

First time here but won't be my last! This new establishment has it all good food, good portions and great service! Be prepared for a wait if you come after 8am. If you come ask for Emily she will take care of you and make you feel at home! She has the best recommendations. We tried the poblano omelet, the huevos rancheros, the birria flautas and a chocolate croissant ! It was all so good! The cafe de olla and the mango lemonade are delicious

Such a great vibe and the food was amazing! Highly recommend giving them a try. It does get packed pretty quickly, but trust me it's worth the wait. What we ordered: Green chilaquiles - so good and full of flavor. Birria omelette - flavors were on point! Breakfast croissant sandwich with sausage good Café de olla - so good

    Spicy chorizo skillet and chilaquiles

To start, we stopped in at about 830 and there was no wait. We left an hour later and there was a decent wait and line. Just to consider your timing. We ordered: spicy chorizo skillet and chilaquiles with red and green salsa. Over medium eggs on both. The food was average. I've had better and worse. I would like to go back because their coffee and breakfast sweets menu looks really good, but I wouldn't seek this place out if family was in town let's say. I don't usually comment on service because of chronic understaffing everywhere, but I felt like it took a really long time for our waitress to come back before the restaurant got busy. Overall I will go back to try the coffee and sweets. But I do believe this is about as close to average Mexican breakfast food as you can get.

The service was okay. They sat us and it took them 10-15 minutes for a waitress to ask for our drinks. Once she started helping us tho, she was great and attentive. The food came out really quick. I had the enchiladas suizas. The sauce was really flavorful. My spouse had the arrachera sandwich. The meat was tender but really salty unfortunately. What really brought my rating down was the French toast. The creme brûlée topping was burnt which made the entire dish super bitter and not good. We took the topping off and tried to eat the rest but the cream filling had no flavor to it that we just let it go. Safe to say this place was very pretty but I don't think this would be a place we would return to.

I gave it a 4 stars because the restaurant is super cute, clean and the host as well as the waitress were super friendly. But to the food, I would say is a 3 star. I was not impressed with it to be honest. I think it lacks flavor. But I would give it a second chance since my daughter really liked her steak and eggs. Maybe I'll try the French toast or chilaquiles next time. I do have to add that the cafe de olla was delicious.

    Dulce de leche pancakes

Food is amazing I had the huevos rancheros for breakfast and my sister had the dulce de leche pancakes it was very delicious. And very good service and ambience.

Been seeing Ahuevo Cafe on yelp and we finally had a chance to try it on Sunday. Daniel was our server and he was great, had great suggestions/recommendations. Daniel suggested the Mariposa and Guavarita and they were both delicious, the Mariposa was GREAT definitely get what you pay for. Daniel suggested Poblano Omelette and I added the chicken tinga, we also had the chilaquiles with red sauce and birria, I also wanted to try the fries with red sauce with chorizo. Everything was flavorful and delicious, we will definitely be back soon!!!!! thank you for all you suggestions Daniel. Service was great and the restaurant is pretty nice and clean, patio looks pretty cool too!!

    Taco El Sonorense

A few friends have mentioned this place, so we decided to try it. The menu looked outstanding. I went for the Chilaquiles with avocado and arranchera steak. My fiancé had the taco sonrenses with habanero salsa. We both had the cafe de olla. Definitely one of the best breakfasts I've had In Tolleson. All the food was full of flavor with the perfect amount of spice. The cafe de olla was a wonderful, rich drink, especially on a windy morning. The service was a bit slow, but to be honest, for all the large parties that were there, it was perfectly understandable. A nice little restaurant in the heart of old Tolleson. A great family vibe. Will go back again to try out some more food.

    Flautas

Incredible food with amazing service! We tried multiple drinks from their Jamaica, orange juice, and horchata latte. Everything tasted fresh and their latte was great! The horchata latte was a bit sweet so if that's what you're looking for this is perfect! We bought the flautas which had the perfect crunch to the tortilla with delicious flavor. The omelette divorciado was a perfect combo of red and green, I personally preferred the green but both were great! For those with a sweet tooth, the dulce de leche crepe was sweet but the way they made the main sauce helped balance it so it wasn't overpowering. They had fresh fruit that added the perfect balance. The real winner of the day was the poblano omelette. I was able to try a bite and will be going back ASAP for it! The sauce was incredible and probably the best out of what we had and I recommend everyone try it! Don't be discouraged by the negative reviews, we waited less than 10mins and the service was quick and attentive! The space is smaller so if you don't want to wait then don't come when it's peak hours! We came on a Saturday at 9:30-10am without issues.

    Chilaquiles

We came Sunday afternoon had a 20 minute wait. The server took our order right away, the food took around 15minutes. It was very flavorful! Will be back to try the other dishes.

I ordered the chilaquiles rojos with arrachera (beef).

We ordered chips and Gaucamole and were given something else instead. When my husband asked about it the server said we were given the wrong thing but we said it was fine and we would just keep it. We ordered food, my husband a breakfast burrito and me the chilaquiles. I had asked the server which sauce he would recommend as they offered three, and he had said the red was spicy so I chose it as I love spicy foods. It took 35 minutes for our food to come out. Once it came, my chilaquiles had green sauce on them, I stated that I had ordered red sauce and the server picked up the plate to take it back and got a little attitude with me and said I'm pretty sure you said green but ok. I then told him I'd keep it if it was an issue but he continued to walk away with the plate. He came back shortly after with red sauce and I thanked him. However, I was disappointed with my meal because I had also ordered my eggs over medium (cooked whites/runny yokes) and they were basically hard boiled with cooked yokes. The red sauce also was not even spicy but lacked any flavor at all honestly. So I was pretty disappointed. As soon as we left after eating and paying my stomach felt off, I got sick when I got home and stayed sick all night. I was fine before coming here and hadn't eaten anything else that day so I know it was from eating here. Needless to say we won't be going back here. If you want good brunch and especially good chilaquiles go to Park Cafe not too far from this place they have the best I've had so far in the area.

I was shy to ask for a 3rd refill but they were super friendly and they did it. What can I say about the tacos they were great asada had flavor and really good I had to get a second order cause that's how good they were. Had a quesadilla con carne asada, and that was delicious. I normally never get a quesadilla any other place cause I'm not a fan of quesadillas or how they make it but here I LOVE it. I had to get a second one as well cause it tasted just like how they make it in Mexicali. The tripas super crunchy and delicious as well my husband couldn't resist to get a second order as well. We have never been to a taco place that they make it crispy and that it actually has flavored. They even have a little cart that has guacamole, salsas (which are really good the darker one is spicy but delicious) onions, cabbage, cilantro, limes, radish for your tacos is self serving.
