We were customers of Peachtree Service for 35 years and had purchased four separate HVAC systems (at three different homes) from them - but no more. I don't know what has happened to this once-great company (perhaps pressure from outside investors?) but their only goal now seems to be to squeeze customers for every possible dollar - regardless of the customer's needs. Don't believe a thing Peachtree says without confirmation from at least two other vendors. I doubt you can find even one to support their claims. Such a shame. read more

Called plumber to diagnosis and fix leak - leak was found coming from kitchen line and repaired outside, under the house. When plumber left I later walked into my bathroom and found he had cut a hole in my wood floor without asking permission. He left it as is in photos below. I have called over 5 times asking for a supervisor to call me. % days and no call. All their #'s route to an answering service and nobody can give me a direct line to reach someone. Our downstairs furnace stopped functioning shortly before the Jan. '26 ice storm hit and Peachtree Service sent Rakesh to the house the same day I called. He diagnosed the problem and made the repair. Rakesh is courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The invoice was reasonable (under $500). I had a service agreement with Peachtree Service Experts in Duluth, Georgia for a few years and felt comfortable that my HVAC systems were being well taken care of. When the tech came out to do the spring checkup in May, 2026 was when it all changed. He spent a great deal of time checking everything and taking pictures of different parts. Never changed the filters although I had new filters there for his use and didn't clean off the condenser units outside. He evidently had come with the mission of convincing me that there was corrosion and biological growth present and that a costly blue light should be installed to slow down the growth. I said no and he left. Three weeks later, my upstairs AC would not come on so I called Peachtree Service Experts and asked to send a tech who has years of experience with the company. A young tech who admitted he had worked for them only a couple of months and another young man who came in a separate car arrived. The tech went to the attic and proceeded to first change the fuse, then the transformer, then the circuit board because none of these fixed the problem. These parts were still under warranty but they didn't offer that information until I asked. Then he went outside to the condenser and spliced two wires because he said there was a short from the contacter. Unit then started cooling. Even though he admitted each job should take 20 minutes or so, he managed to spend an exorbitant amount of time at my house and presented me with a bill for almost $1300! Told me it had to be paid that day so I was so upset that I wrote the check. The other guy who was there suggested I sign a 10 year contract costing $250 per month to lease a unit. That would add up to $30,000 and I would own nothing after 10 years. (But the $1300 check would go toward the lease.) Please stay as far away from Peachtree Service Experts no matter where you live! From other reviews I have read, these are their criminal and unethical tactics nationwide. read more

If I can rate PSE with no stars I would. Our family has been a customer of PSE for more than a decade. I think they recently got bought out by a private equity firm last summer. We had a repair that I thought would've cost me less but a new tech Reynaldo that I was not familiar with charged me double. Then he tried to charge me on another repair that was not necessary because no one had mentioned it in the past. Fast-forward to earlier this week where he and a sales rep both came to our home. at first I thought they were both just doing routine maintenance on our HVAC systems, and next thing I knew they wanted to charge us more than $1000 for something that we didn't think needed to be fixed. In addition, we called another HVAC company for a second opinion, and while that person echoed some of what the sales rep and Tech mentioned, it was for a fraction of the cost, probably like a quarter of what PSE wanted to charge. So no, I no longer recommend Peachtree Service Experts, which makes me frustrated, because our family has used their services for more than a decade without issue. Be careful when private equity firms buys out home improvement companies because all they care about is the bottom line. read more

On April 21 a maintenance technician was scheduled, but a NO-SHOW, with no explanation from anyone. Now, on May 18, I have had another scheduled appointment that is a NO-SHOW! Had a plumbing issue called them. Window was 12-4. Technician apparently called, and I responded back within minutes. An hour later and after being on hold for 20 minutes on 2 separate calls, I was told that my appointment had been rescheduled for a time in the evening. When I told them that an 8 oclock timeframe wouldn't work for me as it was a plumbing issue, they cancelled the appointment, and I got a rude you should answer the phone next time. They charged me $99.00 for the diagnostic. From the diagnostic they said I needed $1000 worth of work and they were going to put me on their maintenance plan. They also tried to sell me a new unit, when mine is only 2 years old. COME TO FIND OUT MY GAS WAS TURNED OFF. I have been trying to get my $99.00 refunded for the last 5 days, with promises that the manager will contact me. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! Also when I originally called the person argued with me that I told them the gas was on, so what is the diagnostic for, if you are going off what I say. Do not touch this company! Our unit was installed in Novemver 2016 with a 10 year warranty on our system. We have kept up our end of that warranry by having it serviced every year although I felt the annual price was too high. There was a misunderstanding about service in 2025: I paid the annual 'membership' fee, but our unit was not serviced in 2025. We didn't receive a bill for 2026, but just received an email stating that our service contract was null and void beginning January 2026 and stating that we owed them for this year if we wanted to keep our servive WHICH I definitely do not. Technician came Oct 22 and turned off my furnace saying it wasn't safe. Fine. So, I cancelled my service contract because I had no furnace. Operator would only take a message. Called again; had to leave a message. A charge showed up on my CC and I disputed. Month later CC said dispute resolved in my favor. Then I get emails from "Nia Wright from noreply@servicetitan.com." Of course I can't reply. The dispute was resolved and now this feels like harassment. I've liked the technicians, but beware of billing and accounting. read more

Peachtree Service Experts isn't customer friendly and archaic with its business practice. Peachtree doesn't use the internet at all, giving customers the opportunity to see how much is owed on your HVAC system and payments being made. Peachtree still uses paper and letters to communicate things like cancellation of service, where you must have a termination letters to cancel payoff and close your system. You must also call Peachtree in order to conduct business. read more

I pay monthly for Peachtree Service Experts service. My AC went out today. When the techs "Tari" and "Tamiko" came by, they vacuumed the water out of the drip pan of my air handler in the attic using my shop vac (over 15 gallons). There was a filter in the same that is ruined and waterlogged. They tried to leave without emptying the same. My pregnant wife asked the techs if they would take the 15 gallons of water out of the attic before they left as they were getting in the van. He said no but he would wait until I carried the water out to see if i needed help. The tech then sat in the attic as I carried out 3 x 5 gallon buckets of water down a ladder myself (one by one) to empty them out out. When we asked if we got a discount for carrying the water out ourselves, the tech told us "its your water" and charged us $215. I then asked "what if our shop vac wasn't there" and he said "I have a shop vac in the van." If this is how they treat their subscription members, imagine how they will treat you. We have both purchased systems from them as well as ongoing maintenance contracts. That ends today. In trying to set up appointments for maintenance this year, I had numerous problems with their misguided attempt at AI scheduling. They could not get the appointments straight, prompting me to jump through hoops to speak to a real person. I finally got the 2 appointments. My ridiculously long appointment window was 12:00-4:00. I called around 1:00 to verify the appointment & was told the tech was finishing up & I was next. Around 3:00 I called again, spoke to an extremely rude "service" rep who only wanted me to know that she had no visibility to where the tech was & when he would arrive. I pressed her to call for information & she finally reported that the tech had 2 unexpected problems with his last 2 customers, was across town at rush hour, but would come out. Once again, no show and no call. This was the 3rd or 4th time I received that "no show/no call" treatment. I had spoken to management to try to resolve this with no change. I told her to cancel my appointment & to never text or call me again (love the multiple calls urging me to set up a maintenance appointment when I already have one). Today was my mother's appointment. I don't have to tell you that no one came and no one called. When I called for a status, I was told that my mother's appointment had been cancelled. You can' make this stuff up! I don't see how they could have any less regard for your time or be any more incompetent. The sad part is that it has been going on for years & they don't care to improve or can't figure it out. Here's another one - I was at my mother's house to handle her supposed appointment but after hearing that they had cancelled it, I was leaving to at least get some errands done. About to leave, I got a text & email saying a tech is on his way. That was almost 3 hours ago! This is what I sent PeachTree..... My experience with PeachTree Service Experts was shocking. I called you to repair my ac because you installed the system 6 years ago. Your techs tried to convince me there were leaks by showing me videos of their leak detector beeping rapidly and low gauge readings from their equipment. They stated the only solution was to replace the EXTERIOR unit ($9k - $13K). I opted to get a second opinion. Casey from TE found the root of the problem immediately. The TXV (thermal expansion valve) in the INTERIOR unit needed to be replaced. There was nothing wrong with the exterior unit, and there were NO LEAKS! If I had followed the advice of your techs, it would have cost me 5x more, and I still wouldn't have an ac that worked because you didn't address the original problem. Peach Tree seems to be missing knowledge or ethics. Either way, it felt like a scam. Like I said, SHOCKING! read more

First of all, they make you carve out a FOUR HOUR window for them to come. Second of all, they have never once in 10 years actually shown up within that window. They are always 2-3 hours late, if they show up at all. Third of all, at least half the time they do not show up at all. And Finally, when I told them they were fired and to please refund my money and get out of my life, they continued billing me and I literally couldn't get rid of them. Also, they robo call you like 100 times a year and send a million texts but it is impossible to actually get ahold of a human being. read more

He explained pertinent info regarding upkeep and changed my filter including washing so kind of silver boards that can be removed, I didn't know I had them. AI scheduling has appointments overbooked and messed up my schedule. DO not book through AI assistant. Had two A/C techs show up on two different days plus the Plumbing Tech. Was told by the "live office scheduler" that my Plumbing inspection would include flushing and descaling of tankless hot water heater which I thought I prepaid earlier in the year. I was told by technician it was extra for $800. No way was I paying that much. Fumes were coming out my ears by then. Then I get an email estimate an hour later for the same for $532. Still no deal. This was then last service of my annual prepaid service. NOT renewing my service with Peachtree Experts after 20+ years. Their scheduling, billing has gone down hill and pricing sky high. It's not the same company I used to know and have confidence in. (Since when should a standard kitchen faucet and easy install cost $800... that's what I was quoted not too long ago. I got scammed by a salesperson into a Lease plan. I was told that leasing a new HVAC system was zero risk and if I ever changed my mind, I could cancel, and they would come get their equipment. The salesperson also negotiated to throw in a maintenance plan on my second unit (which did not happen), and assured me that he discussed the entire agreement in detail. They only have you sign the page of the contract with the monthly fees upon purchase (not each page including the termination terms), so he was able to hide it during the transaction. We tried contacting the salesperson with questions about what he said 1-2 weeks after installation, and he was unable to be reached. After closer review of the contract I found typos in what the salesperson entered, yet when I clearly described the page and location of the obvious typos, the office claimed to not have the same copy of their documents that they created and emailed me. Fast forward to now, the complaint department said that what their salesperson told us about the agreement wasn't true and wouldn't be honored. I requested a termination letter and was told it would take up to 5 business days to receive, but I had to remind them and received it 3 weeks after my request. They tried to bill me for additional lease charges due to them producing this termination letter late, which I had them correct and remove. Were they hoping I'd just keep blindly sending them payments for this awful program? I saw other reviews of dishonest sales practices. Unfortunately I am past my 3 day cancellation window, and they take zero responsibility for their salesperson's actions and say that's on me for falling for the scam. Their sales practices are dishonest, and the Advantage Program is absolutely a ripoff. I had my doubts going in, don't make the same mistake I did. read more

My air conditioning unit went out and needed it to be fixed. The technician found out is was the capacitor and ended up charging me $712 to change it. After research it should cost a maximum of maybe $400 including labor, the part costs up to $50 itself. So while they did get the air conditioning unit to work they ripped me off. read more

These folks are dishonest and are targeting senior citizens. They did a maintenance visit on my HVAC system and told me my system was ion such bad shape that it was dangerous and that just doing short term repairs as a band aid would cost me over $4,000. They said I really needed a new system for the "low price" of $250/month. The cash price of this "great deal" was $19,000 which is crazy high for my small home. They continued to pressure me and say I should only be worried about the monthly payment and not the total cost. I virtually had to throw them out to get them to leave. After they left I called an HVAC company I knew to be honest from past experience. They inspected my system and said it was running fine and didn't need any repairs. To make it even worse, they said if I wanted a completely new system, it would cost less than half of what Peachtree Service Experts quoted. I even contacted a third company for a quote and they confirmed that the quote from Peachtree was more than double what they would charge. Stay away from this company. read more

I have had maintenance contract since about 2007. I've always had a great experience with this company for twice annual system maintenance. Tulsi was the technician today, and he is fantastic! Very meticulous and friendly. Over time I've seem many of the technicians two or three different times over a period of years. It speaks well for the company that good people are employed long term and I get to see familiar faces. Always trustworthy, and they make good recommendations for how I use the system, and when it is time for additional services. read more

Was told I need a new furnace that would cost $12K even though my furnace works just fine. We called the office and again were told we'd receive a call back and here we are one year later still getting the run around. We had a maintenance supervisors come out and admit the wrong system was installed. Basically we paid for a high quality energy efficiency system for a 3000sq ft home and the very basic starter home model was installed. It's not comparable with our duct work or home size and it's very poor quality. Not one of their reps was able to diagnose issues so the service plan is a complete waste. They have yet to follow up on what they plan to do to remedy situation. Apparently the gentleman who was finally honest with us is no longer with company. Meanwhile the con Robbie who lied to us from the get go has received several promotions. That tells me everything I need to know about these folks. Apparently a foreign owned entity has bought up this and most small mom and pop HVAC companies across the Country and kept the name as close to the original as legally possible. They have all the service records and use them to make you think they're the same folks you've done business with so you don't check reviews. As mentioned in original review they bad mouth former employees if you inquire about them. In fact they said the gentleman I complimented in the first review was no longer there. They even went as far to say they termed him for "issues". Who does that? The fact is they are pure con artists. Buyer beware. Check your state SOS website to see who owns any company you consider doing business with. I know my reviews seem long winded and mostly negative especially ones related to home services. I believe consumers have the right to have as much about businesses they are considering hiring. Bottom line I'll admit I've grown cynical and don't do positive reviews because those businesses are already popular and thriving because they care about their customers. I scheduled an appointment two weeks prior to the job. I had to take a day off due to a couple of other errands I wanted to run. It was a fairly simple job replacing some pvc on a pool filter that cracked during a hard freeze. The appointment was scheduled between 8 and 12, which is a big window to me. Received a call from the company at 1041 that the plumber was caught on a job and would still make the 8 to 12 window. At 1128, received another call that the job was bigger than expected and would still be able to make the time. Did not hear anything else until 1330, when the young lady said he's on the way and he'll call me soon. Received a call from the plumber a couple of minutes later and he said he's an hour out. In casual conversation with the plumber, he said he was at a Dad's and donuts event with his daughter watching her dance. I don't appreciate being lied to and being held hostage at my home because of the lies. As far as I'm concerned the price was exorbitant for what was essentially 45 minutes of hands on work and 45 minutes for a supply run. Wasted an entire day. Not a happy customer. read more

I was scammed this week by Peachtree Service Experts. had appt for a/c check and they also sent a "service expert" who looked at my water heater that I didn't request. after tampering with it, I had no more hot water and they sent a plumber the next day which he said I had to replace the gas valve$900 and recommended to replace 50 gal tank for thousands more. they "expert" evaluation said that my water heater was in good condition (see pic below green is for good). never again! Worse costly mistake! Decided to replace a fully functioning unit that was older for a "just in case moment." It's been 2 years of going back and forth letting them know the unit did not work since installation. The unit constantly went out, you could never set the temp at a set degree etc. Although it was fault of there own they wanted a $5000 buy out because we wanted out! They literally held that over our heads until I took it to X(formally Twitter). Right after I posted (literally within about 20 min) they agreed to bring a extra room unit- try to fix the unit (again)- and agreed to let us out of the contract. The supervisor is the one who came last to fix the unit just like he had many times. He supposedly fixed it and within a couple of days was out again. I have English Bulldogs in the home so not having a functioning AC unit is so dangerous for them along with the discomfort. We got another estimate from another company and they said so many things were wrong down to the initial installation. Also, they said the unit and repairs were so dangerous, had any of the water leaked onto the floor and we stepped on it we (kids and dogs) would have been electrocuted. The cost to repair everything is approximately $19xx.00. After all this I spoke to Rochelle who informed me instead of fixing the unit they just wanted to go ahead and terminate the contract instead of fixing their mistakes because Peachtree was afraid I would keep posting reviews of our experience. It literally took me posting on Twitter in order for them to not hold a $5k price tag over our head! She let me know Peachtree would be out here that day or next day to fix the unit AGAIN. They never showed up and instead we received a letter yesterday stating all services were terminated. Peachtree by far is the worse company to go through! If you are given a functioning unit initially then don't worry. You may be in the clear. However, if they installed it incorrectly as they did ours and have a lot more issues with the unit going on RUUUUUUUUUUNNN! They literally just wash their hands clean from you at the first chance they get if they can't get that buy out from you. They have a promise guarantee.
