She was clapping her hands repeating " what we have available is in the case". Eventually told him rudely that they can't help him and he needs to go to another location. This is the absolute WORST POST OFFICE!!! The only reason this PO Office sucks is because of one person. It's the bald guy that sits in the far right station of this post office! Here is the situation: There were no more labels for my flat rate box. He tells me that I should buy a label or write the address on the box. What?! I have a business sir and I'm not going to send some scribbled hand writing to my customer on a box. At least he could have comped the label since they were out of the usual labels. At that point I had to take an express envelop, tear it apart and use it as a label!! My mom works for the post office in another state and I knew this was NOT RIGHT! I ended up going to Ms Monique and she was AMAZING!! She was patient, kind, matter of fact lol! and gave me all the information I needed to continue to use USPS as my business delivery service AND I didn't have to pay for a label. I give her FIVE STARS!! I left with notes she gave me, documents and a contact email that I could use if I had business delivery questions!! Talk about a turn around ! This made my day! Unfortunately, I have to visit this post office whenever I am in GA as my stay is close to it. I totally agree with all those who rated this post office with ONE star. Yes the staff is extremely rude, they talk down on customers and make fun of those who ask questions. Lady Mo could have good days and bad days, at times she could be pleasant, patient and polite but majority of the times she is rude and arrogant with the customers. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went there because a customer service representative told me to from USPS to get my package I was told that they can't stop sorting packages for my one package even if it is there. Then I was told that I would just have to wait for my package to be delivered. Then I was told my address was wrong which it was not and told to do a change of address. I ended up on the phone with a representative that confirmed this was all wrong and I should of been given my package. My address was also correct and there was no need for me to change it. Nonetheless this had nothing to do with my package!!!! And there have been no updates on me receiving my package. Truly unbelievable. Never come here. There is one lady (possibly Lady Mo) who is kind to women of her race and is absolutely abhorrent to anyone else. While I was waiting for my passport renewal, she made fun of an Asian man and cut him off repeatedly while he was speaking and berated an older white woman. I couldn't believe how they treat people in this office. The man who helped me (rude to almost everyone as well), although he did warm up to me after a while, ended up losing a check I wrote. I am a frequent visitor to this post office. When my neighborhoods mailbox burn down (about a year to a year and a half ago) I've visited this post office about once a week. The staff is nice but this location tends to be understaffed. I've never seen more than two people working there at a time. The wait times are pretty terrible. Wait times of 1 to 1.5 hours are common. I go to this post office because it is a convenient location for me but I try to always have prepaid postage. read more

Peachtree Corners Post Office continues to have the worst customer service. I had an appointment to get my passport. , I had already left work to make my appointment. I was told to sit in the corner (that's where the seats are for passports) 15 minutes later a pretty, w girl comes in with no paper work. She is told by one of the female workers to sit also. Unlike me she doesn't sit. She's waiting. She gets called right away by the male customer service and he told her she had to fill out the application. He waited 20 minutes while she filled it out, while my appointment has come and gone. After all that she didn't have her picture for the passport nor copies of her license. He took her into the room so he can take her picture and make copies of her license. We are now into almost an hour that I have been sitting there. When the other female worker pointed out I was still waiting, he said yes she's been waiting for awhile and continued with the girl. When I first had an appointment I didn't have cop of my license and they sent me home without finishing my appointment. This time I had everything and still didn't get my passport! read more

Went to mail gifts. Used to working with FedEx so was a bit surprised when I was told I had to address the box, apply extra tape, and the whole 9 yards. I did so and they printed out a label anyway that had the address coded on it. The lady was abrupt and a bit rude as compared to FedEx and I was never asked if I wanted extra insurance though others were. This is not the level of service I expected and will probably pay the extra to ship FedEx ground in the future. read more

I've called nearly 10 times and hasn't gotten an answer from this facility and once it's returned everyone knows how long it's takes to receive a refund and this is a massive inconvenience and terrible busines. read more

I put in a Hold Mail request online for my vacation and placed a copy of the confirmation email in my mail box for the mail carrier. The post office has ignored all of this and continued to stuff my mail box rather than hold the mail. Third time this has happened. Today 07/03/2023. this female employee which sits in the far left kept calling me "Papi" (I'm Hispanic) in a very rude and condescending way because I asked her for help to mail a package. During our interaction, I had to ask her to stop calling me names because I don't like being profile like that. Awful experience for a public and government building that is paid with our taxes. I would rather to pay 2 or 3 times more using FedEx or UPS just to don't have to deal with them. Being the only Post Office in a very busy Peachtree Corners it can fill up fast. Make sure you have planned accordingly giving your self time to spare if you have other things to do or on your way back to work. Your passport can be applied for here make an appointment and be early or on time. You will be moved to the front of the line. I was a bit embarrassed apologizing to those in front of me but hey this is what an appointment is for. Make sure to complete the form needed ahead of time. Bring your drivers licence, birth certificate and cash or debit card. Your birth certificate will be copied and the copy given back to you, the original will be mailed off with the application. Have an expired passport don't worry about finding the old one it will not have to be turned in. Remember to check your mailbox the original birth certificate and your new passport will be mailed separately. Knowing I may not need a passport until spring (hoping for Italy) went the normal route cost $136.20. If you apply during the off season you can get an appointment in about a week. If you wait closer to the summer months this office can have a wait time of two months just for an appointment. No joke I tried and put it off until now. Wait time to receive a passport right now is between 4-6 weeks enjoy your trip! *** Adding on to this review, the appointment was December 7th and had a new passport show before Christmas! I know I posted an update earlier this month, so you're probably wondering what could possibly be that important at the damn post office. Well, it's something so simple it's almost mind blowing. They now have an employee out front assisting the people in line. I've seen this on my past two visits and they just go up to each person and ask what they're doing. Most times it's obvious (i.e. I'm carrying a box and I need to ship it ), but more times than not even the basic transactions get complicated - especially when the person hasn't written an address or correctly or has no idea how to fill out a certified mail return request form. Now all of that gets resolved BEFORE the person goes to the counter, saving time and enhancing everyone's experience. No more waiting in line because the person ahead is trying to ship something in a re-used UPS box with old labels still attached. The idiot who doesn't know where to put the Delivery Confirmation sticker isn't holding up a line of people desperately trying not to waste their hour lunch break. Kudos to this Postmaster (or whoever made this decision). This simple change is making a tremendous positive impact. read more

I was dropping off a return package at the Peachtree Corners post office. I felt compelled to write about my experience. The female desk clerk on duty on 7/19/22 around 1:00 was rude not only to me but also to the customer behind me. I asked her if she would tape the return label for me on the package. She curtly told me they do not provide any taping supplies and I would need to buy tape if I needed any. The customer behind asked if she had the right box to mail her item and the female desk clerk did not even allow her finish her question before dismissing her and giving her the wrong information resulting in the customer having to ask again if the box was correct to mail her item. This clerk was rude, and we both felt disrespected. She is clueless when it comes to making a customer feel valued and welcomed. There was no attempt to provide any level of customer service. The front desk clerk should be mindful that her job exists to serve the customer and not to demean or belittle a customer seeking assistance. If this individual is unable to grasp this concept, they should not be customer facing and should in the back sorting mail. To the USPS and specifically this location, include customer review ratings in the performance review of the USPS location manager and the employees. There should no raises or bonuses given to poor performing USPS offices. You should get rid of employees who do not understand that serving the customers is the reason why their jobs exist. In the meantime, I will give my business and money to UPS, a company that gets it. read more

Peachtree Corners deserves so much better than this ... I mean "really!" It used to be better than this ... y-e-a-r-s-s-s-s ago ... there was one occasion where I entered this location to get in the (ever-present) line for service and a large man was talking to customers, introducing himself as the new manager. He was very polite and seemed dedicated to the work... ... "he" is long gone. To visit this location is to always see a line coming out the door while you wait for employees that run the gamut from slow to indifferent and back again. If you have to mail an item and don't want to wait for a staff person to help you, the Post Office has installed an automated machine to let you weigh and print postage ... but there is a sneaky surcharge to that because if you don't need "Priority Mail" service, then you're out of luck because that's all this machine offers. To get First-Class or Parcel Post or any other rate... Get in Line! And you know that (very) old adage about the Postman's Creed? ... you know the bit about "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" ... that is by no means an official creed or motto of the United States Postal Service... as a matter of fact, they have been able to legislate themselves into the position of NEVER having to leave their postal trucks and deliver... or pick up "any of your stuff" (the last part of that line quoted by a stalwart employee to me over the phone at this very office.) Then's there's the Post Office's "click and ship" online "service" that allows you to pay for and print your own postage. There are offshoots to this like Stamps.com and all of them including and particularly "click and ship" tout that your item can get picked up "during your regular daily mail service" ... Yeah, that can happen if you're lucky. They have ignored my request for pick up so many times that I have begun to print out the pick up request along with a sign and stick it to the mailbox so they don't miss it... and sometimes even THAT is ignored (because it's "too dark" or "raining" or "insert random excuse here" ... Every so often you hear a news report about how the US Postal Service is in trouble ... "service" is a misnomer and I always add "is it any wonder"? read more
