Pros: staff was nice. Walking distance to Disneyland. Cons: tried to clean the coffee pot before using it and the water was gray. Like really gray. They built the hotel out of cardboard. I travel a lot and have stayed in hundreds. This is by far the loudest hotel I have ever stayed at. After a long day at Disneyland with a 3 year old, I couldn't wait to sleep. NOPE!!! Terrible, terrible place. We book our reservation through Expedia which said they had free parking, free breakfast, and a kitchenette. You are required to park with valet for $10/day per vehicle! There is no free breakfast, they discontinued it a couple of months ago but don't seem to want to update that for anyone else. "Kitchenette" consisted of microwave, mini fridge and a sink. Staff is friendly but not the brightest. We asked to be put close to the laundry facilities and she couldn't have put us farther away. When checking out I asked to have a receipt of the room charges to make sure nothing would be charged without my knowledge, since they had already tricked us on a couple things, the front desk said they can't print receipts, yeah okay. Rooms were nice, a little dark for my mother's taste but I liked it. With all the other hotel choices in the area I will definitely not be returning to this one. read more

This place is so amazingly beautiful. It made me feel ashamed of my own place because of how well furnished it is. We need more towels and they were delivered not even five minutes after we called. My family and I really enjoyed staying here. It is by far one of the best places we've stayed while visiting DisneyLand. I totally recommend this hotel if you are in the Anaheim area. Booked this place through Interval International. The website said "Cooking Facilities," so like any timeshare my wife and I expected a full kitchen - nope - just a microwave and some plates and bowls. What a joke. Even with the new renovations, I can't see how there would be room for a proper kitchen. Also, mandatory valet, because half the parking spaces are being taken up by construction materials. Add $10/day for that plus taxes. (another surprise) Construction above our room has been starting by 7:00am, and now their painting and the fumes are making my myself, wife and 2 year old toddler high - can't even take an afternoon nap. What a vacation! Oh yeah, each morning around 11am, we've been getting phone calls from the front desk letting us know what bad stuff is going to happen each day... fumes, water turned off (from noon to 4pm!), etc. Now, things should change once all renovations are complete, but I have to ask, "What is Shell Vacations Hospitality thinking?" Every other guest I've spoken with has been saying this is the worst hotel they've ever stayed at. Shell should not have allowed for any rooms to be booked during construction - Shell management made a HUGE mistake that has been incredibly inconvenient to so many families! Also, for those of you who think you might want to mix a little business with your vacation - there are no desks in the rooms, nor is there a "business facility" near the main lobby. Nothing business-friendly here. I'm doing all my business correspondence from the lounge on the rooftop, where I'm using a small round drink table as my desk (where I'm typing this right now). Great room, nice pool... but not the best choice if you want any form of room service. They will not clean your room, even if you ask or offer to pay for it. The front desk told me they only clean every 3 days! My husbabd actually asked to borrow a vacuum, I expected someone to come up and vacuum but that didn't happen . They dropped it off. When they did send up room service it was just to send up towels and toilette paper. Upon check in my family informed staff that it was my birthday, they even asked what color I prefer... But then they must haveforgot even though they wrote it down. I never received anything and it was a bit disappointing because I saw a neighbor get something. The room was a bit smaller than what I expected from the pictures, but was nice. Beds were comfortable Microwave and refrigerator and dishes which was a nice touch. Our view was nothing to write home about. Nice pool and hot tub. Staff was friendly and I would have given 5 stars if not for the room service read more

We stayed here before heading to Disneyland and had a good experience. Staff was over the top sweet and treated us with nice goodie bags upon arrival. The one thing we did not know about upon booking was the mandatory valet parking... having to pay to park your car literally overnight has to be the more heinous thing I have ever heard. If they're going to make every single car valet due to construction, they should at least tell guests before arrival or make it free. It is within a reasonable distance from Disneyland and at an average price, but that sent me over the edge after getting to my hotel. Side note - the hotel pool is not great. It's basically underneath the hotel, by the parking garage & doesn't look like it sees the light of day. Not sure if I will come back and use this hotel again since the parking catastrophe was not great - especially trying to leave to go to the parks in the morning. There was only one valet attendant & the turn around time getting your car took quite some time. Loved the hotel concierge behind the desk and they would make it worth your while to come by, but the timeshare hustlers right next to them make you want to run out of the door. Pretty pushy and will not let you leave without signing up for a timeshare meeting. read more

I was amazed by the staff! Everyone was amazingly friendly and super accommodating. We had an accident with my daughters blanket right before bedtime and right as someone filled all three guest washing machines The front desk worked to find a coin laundry close by that was open (9:30 pm) and when that was unsuccessful they took the blanket themselves and washed and dried it for us. My very tired baby was very happy to have her blanket and was finally able to sleep. The gift shop was fun and had a great selection but very odd hours. 8:00-12:00 and 5:00-9:00. We were usually in our room for nap time between 1:00 and 4:00 and had wished it were open then. The pool area is nice (outdoor but covered and on the main floor) and has a cute little splash pad the sun deck was nice as well but on the fourth floor. Plenty of vending machines and an easy walk to great restaurants and Disneyland. I highly recommend this hotel. read more

I stayed here with my girlfriends on a relatively recent trip to Disneyland. It was hard finding a place that allowed all 6 of us to stay in one room (for ease and budget, yanno), but Peacock Suites was a great solution for our problem! With two queens and a pull-out full, the suite fit us nicely. I believe this place is recently renovated because everything was clean and new. Breakfast is included, but to be honest, it was what's expected for "free breakfast"... mostly bread, bagels, generic-brand cereal, grey oatmeal, and vinegar-y hard boiled eggs. For free, however, I will not complain about it. This hotel was also about a 15 minute walking distance to Disneyland which wasn't bad. It was a pretty exhausting walk at night though... Regardless, I think this place was nicely suited for what we were looking for--a comfortable, clean place to sleep and shower between our times at the parks. I would definitely come back here with another group--and hopefully soon! read more

The peacock suites were fabulous this time! the rooms are much roomier now that they are updated, I was a little annoyed with the hammering, but not much. I also would recommend them put a sink in the kitchenette, but the bathroom sinks work just as good. I am impressed, the last time I went they were awful! brava!!! read more

The staff is amazing at the hotel. It was my sons 4th bday they brought him balloons .. Not just once but another time with confetti in the balloon. The rooms were nice comfortable and updated. Walls a little thin, luckily we had a corner room so it wasn't that loud. Beds were very comfortable my son slept on the fold out couch bed and it had a memory foam mattress which was super comfortable. Only strange thing was no sink in the mini kitchenette.. Had to go to bathroom sick to rinse out dishes. ART shuttle was a really easy way to get back and forth to disneyland .. M read more

Booked a 1 bed king suite on Yelp. Room was really nice imo. When you first walk in there's a living room type area with a couch, dining table, tv, and the other typical things. The bed is in it's own room with the 2nd tv inside. Bathroom is really nice as well. Front desk people were overly friendly with lots of questions. Stayed at this hotel on my trip to disneyland. Got a discount online that made the hotel a bargain but would not pay the full price. The hotel is about a 30min walk to disneyland so driving is pretty necessary. the room was very nice with wi-fi, nice tvs, good shower and bathroom, and a nice kitchen. The pool and outdoor area wasn't the nicest and was crowded but seemed good for kids. The worst part about this hotel besides the distance to disneyland is the terrible contiental breakfast, they had poor pastries, toast, juice, hard boiled eggs, and very bad coffee. also, the parking lot is big and would be easy to find spaces but they make you pay an additional ten dollars a day for valet parking. read more

Really friendly and efficient valet the place is a little bit cramped in general but the room is worth it!! The price is reasonable too! Fit me, my aunt my cousin and her boyfriend in a two room (four bed) suite that had a kitchenette and nice view! They have a pool and small game room. Pissed off and so disappointed with the pushy guest services staff that doesn't tell you the 'whole story'! Was told if we pay $20 for breakfast we would get Disney bucks for the kids and instead we found out it's a property owners meeting! We are here to spend time with family, not spend time on an hour long meeting paying $20 for donuts. We were so tired when we got here I feel we were really taken advantage of. The hotel itself has been updated and you have to live the 2 bedroom suites, so my recommendation if you stay here don't talk to the activities desk staff! We stayed here for a night in October and was overall pleased with the place. We left the car with the valet in the early morning and then walked to Disneyland (15 minute walk; there's also a bus stop right outside the suite.) Parking your car there saves a lot of money versus parking at Disneyland. You get in and out privileges the entire day and the following morning before check-out. We booked the room as part of an online deal so we got away with less than $70 a night after tax/fees. We came back after midnight and was able to check in with a very friendly associate at the front desk. He also gave us a late check-out the next morning. The suite had recently been remodeled so everything felt new and clean. One of the problems we did have was dirty towels. There was some hair left on the towels and one even had the remnants of a lip stick stain. The continental breakfast was also a bit sparse, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area and I'm already a cereal/bagel fan. Overall I would stay here again for the service, value, and convenience. Next time, I would probably just eat elsewhere and bring my own towel. Meets expectations. read more

We recently stayed at the Peacock Suites a couple of weeks ago and were very impressed by the friendly staff and comfortable room. My sister and I traveled with our kids, five total (one is an infant) and were surprised to find that our room had a hide-a-bed in the wall. We had a suite w/two queen beds and a sofa bed PLUS the hide-a-bed. It was perfect, the kids didn't fight for bed space!! We were overall very happy with our stay and since we take a trip to Anaheim each year, we will definitely make this our go to place from now on. It's close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. The only thing we didn't like was the $10 valet fee. I think parking should be included when paying to stay at a hotel. read more

We have stayed here many times since 2009. I must say my last visit proves why I have never had any issues with this resort. I left my very costly prescription glasses in our room. When I arrived home I was beyond afraid that I would never see them again. I have stayed at hotels where you forget an item and call to hear them say, "nothing was turned into our lost and found". Not, the Peacock Suites. I believe if you forget an item in your room they will almost surely take it to lost and found. Bravo! Thank you to our housekeeper, Maria for doing just that, and for being an honest employee. The rooms are always immaculately clean by all the housekeeping staff. I also want to thank Rochanda Chamois for taking the time to send them to my home that is a return trip of 150 north of Anaheim. At this time I want to thank the front desk personnel who have always been smiling, cheerfully accommodating, and helpful. Much has to be said of the awesome Valet Parking personnel who are always welcoming, and pleasant with very swift service all around. Thank you all for your wonderful hospitality. read more

Even though my family didn't get to stay here, I had to leave a review due to the amazing experience we had. We had a trip planned for Christmas and unfortunately my father law passes away suddenly and due to that, we had to cancel the trip last minute :( We booked through Groupon and with the help of Juan (receptionist) and Groupon, we were able to get fully refunded. Badgered into SVC Owners update. Went to it 3 days later and was told there wasn't any SVC people there only Wyndam (parent company). Was told to wait for 15 minutes for my gift, waited 20 and was told it be 20 more, when I explained what I was told the cashier/clerk argued with me saying, I was told it would be longer.....I left and contacted SVC and they aren't helpful in resolving this terrible experience....Please go elsewhere when staying in Anaheim, CA unless you enjoy being called a liar, argued with, cheated, and ignored by Shell Vacations Club and/or Wyndam.........also, the pool was being redone but when booked no one explained that either............... read more

Unfortunately Peacock Suites is the only hotel of my parent's timeshare located in Anaheim. My parents are Disneyland annual pass holders and travel forty five minutes every month to visit Disneyland and stay at the Peacock Suites. Recently my parents, boyfriend and I visited Disneyland and stayed at the Peacock Suites. $8 valet parking per car per day on a timeshare that is paid in full? My parents are charged $70 a month for timeshare maintenance and our designated suite provided a worn down couch. The shower head does not move and does not spray you lower legs. The shower tub is not deep enough to bathe in unless you are a child. My boyfriend and I signed up for a ninety minute Shell Vacation Club presentation to receive $100 disney dollars. Since leaving this review, I was contacted by the General Manager. I was pleased with his quick response to my complaints. I still think that everyone on staff, with the exception of housekeeping, was very nice. I plan on going back and staying with them on April 3rd. I'll post another update after that stay. Rooms are very nice and updated. Clean. Does not look anything at all like some of the pictures that were posted 7 years, but still pretty similar to the pics posted 3 years ago. Forgot to take pictures before we made it a mess. Bummer no breakfast is served at the hotel. Wi-fi at the hotel was weak and slow. Everyone including valet guys were very nice. Don't do the time share meeting. They say it's a 2 hour meeting, but ours was close to 3 hours and I felt like it ruined the rest of our day after attending (we didn't buy and they kept pushing). Overall a good place to stay. About a mile from Disneyland. And if you're staying there, the bus shuttle is right out front the hotel and they drop you off at the front of Disneyland. That was the best way to go for my family of 5 (kids ages 7, 6 and 3). Last thing, upon checking in, they gave us a bag of goodies. Something small containing small bags of veggie chips, water bottle, gum, forgot what else, but thought that was a nice touch. read more

The Good: Near Disney, Bus right at front door. Nice Continental Breakfast if you can stand watching people take 5x what they can eat. 2 huge flat screens in one bedroom, beds were fine. Self service valet (one less tip) Bad: Front desk. Upon arrival told me I had no reservation and wanted to leave it at that but with my persistance we found the mistake. No acknowledgement of their error or problem that it would have caused. Not a happy helpful crew. congested parking. No air conditioning which is not a huge problem except our window opened only 6 inches. Very stuffy. Also so noisy with 6:00am garbage pick up and noisy (although happy noise) pool until 11:00pm that the open windows were a serous trade off. No cooking in suites. Just microwave and small fridge, no kitchen sink. read more

We are staying here with a time share. They upgraded us to a larger room with a Murphy bed since we had 6 people in our room! The staff is great! They brought us extra blankets, and pillows. The kids swam in the pool. It's not a beautiful pool. And it's covered. But they had fun and we got to sit and relax. We walked to Downtown Disney for dinner and back and it wasn't too far. About 15-20 minutes. But for the next two days actually at the park we will do the shuttle that is $3-$5 a day per person. Come! It's perfect for a Disney stay! read more

This place was fantastic! The Peacock Suites is located in perfect proximity to everything you would ever like to visit in Anaheim. I initially booked it as a place to crash after a day at Disneyland (only about a 15 minute walk from the hotel!), but was thoroughly impressed by the room beyond just a place to sleep. My boyfriend and I arrived early in the morning to drop our car off at the hotel since valet parking is only $12 compared to Disneyland costing $20. Upon arriving the men working the valet were extremely friendly and welcoming as well as the woman at the front desk who even offered to take our bags and deliver them to our room when it was ready. I was so happy with the initial service and that was even before stepping into the room. We arrived back to the hotel around 9 O'clock and the woman at the front desk was again extremely friendly and explained how exactly to find our room, and directed us to all the extra amenities within the hotel. Additionally she was kind enough to show us a great spot to view the Disney fireworks in the hotel. Lastly she handed me a welcome bag with a bunch of delicious snacks ands I was already in love. We made our way to the room which is on the third floor and has a cute little view. The room was immaculate and super cute! The space was also far larger than I had imagined which was a bonus. Walking in sitting upon the bathroom counter they provided the standard shampoo, conditioner, soap, facial soap. lotion as well as a dental kit including a toothbrush and toothpaste! The bathroom was stocked with beautiful white towels as well as a shower mat to avoid slipping. The little living room had a large tv with a super comfortable couch and a desk with a lamp as well. The kitchen had a coffee maker and was stocked with a variety of glass dishes for our use. The most exciting part was a letter with my name printed on it attached to a beautiful bundt cake welcoming me to the hotel and informing me that they were willing and ready to assist with any needs I had. As well, there was another entire basket full of treats- all free! The bed was super comfy and had another large tv in front of it. After checking out the woman wished us safe travels and we were on our way. Everyone who worked there was so genuinely kind and it really made our trip even more magical and I am very thankful to have had he privilege to stay there and I look forward to staying again!! I'm definitely a fan of this resort! Clean, beautiful, and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Even gave out coupons for things to do in town - which were actually useful and we used! Call them if you have any questions and I'm certain they will be able to answer you! Our room had two queen beds and french-like doors that closed for privacy. Nice view. And later at night you could go out on top of the roof and watch the Disney Firework display. I would go back if I was looking for a comfy and affordable place to stay for a family. read more

My friends and I stayed at the Peacock Suites this past week for a trip to Disneyland and it was disappointing to say the least. While checking in, the front desk workers (clearly trying to scam people) talked extremely fast about additional charges and upfront deposits. I had previous problems with my debit card so it didn't work when I tried to use it during check in. However when it first got declined, the staff member (named Apollonia I believe) responded by simply saying "Uhm no girly". I know I'm young but that was completely rude and unprofessional! After this we went back and forth from our room to the front desk to try to figure out how to pay, which we did but all but one god sent worker, the staff at the desk treated us like stupid children. Another down side to this hotel is that they claim that they only clean on every third day which is not true. On our third day, we were out all day and came back to see our trash cans still full, sheets unchanged and dirty towels. When the cleansing staff did come they only replaced the towels and emptied the trash. Also now after being home, my friends and I have noticed little bumps on our arms and legs. Could be something we ate or the material of the covers but with the low quality hygiene of the hotel.... don't stay here! read more

This place is AMAZING. VERY CLEAN! The price is extremely fair and the customer service is outstanding. It is not the viceroy so don't expect that. It is however very clean, friendly and comfortable. They do have the time share thing but just give them a hard no and they back off. However, if you have a bit of time to spare might as well go get the free lunch and whatever else they offer and you never know you may want a timeshare . I didn't do the timeshare meeting. I was there for my daughter's 7th birthday. We are disneyland passholders but wanted a special mommy and me weekend. We loved it. They put balloons in our room with treats and even had small gifts for her like a coloring book. It was super nice though and made her feel special.The beds were firm but comfortable and very clean. They separate bedroom was very nice too. It is almost set up like an extended stay. All the dishes are there, dish soap, dishwasher and microwave. You can save money eating in your room. They also have a tons of restaurants close as well as delivery. Cheesecake factory is right next door. Disneyland is in walking distance if you are a walker. If you have young kids and no stroller I advise uber or driving. Disney itself is a lot of walking so I mean the kiddies might not like it. They have valet parking only for I think 20 a day. I forget but it's really not bad price. They have a small pool that is under a port and 2 Jacuzzis they also have a couch and big flat screen tv with the pools and Jacuzzi area as well and some sprinklers. They also have a nice game room with fun games such as foosball and air hockey as well as another couch area there and tv for games or they have game consoles for kids addicted to video games . The rooftop is another plus. They have full size bbq grills you can cook on! Yes!! Also, more tv's and couches. Also, super comfy lounge chairs and good lighting. The view is ok but it's still super nice up there and relaxing. Also, a big plus you can see Disney fireworks from there. PLEASE BE WARNED FIREWORKS ARE LOUD!! If you are a early bird they will be heard while you are in bed BUT keep in mind anywhere within 5 miles of Disney you can hear them so just deal with it. I say get up and go watch the show from the roof . I mean for the cost of the place it's definitely worth it. I mean some the lose level hotels are the same price and not nearly as clean or friendly. This place is clean. I can't stress that enough. It is very clean. Also, I am a stickler for customer service and this place was A+. I also was very happy with all the amenities. Please give this place a chance. The bad reviews were people expecting to pay low prices for 5 star hotels. That don't happen anywhere in Cali especially not at a hotel by Disney. . This place was a definite win. If you are going to Disney it's a double double win because you don't down much time at your hotel anyways. We liked the hotel so much that we hung in the hotel more. It was nice and well we can go to Disney anytime. Oh and another plus they have the outlet mall about 5 mins away. I think one exit down the highway so if you are a shopper. Enjoy . I made a reservation on Hotwire with a secret deal. I didn't know what I was getting. However, later I found out it was this hotel and it was about a mile from Disneyland. Where we went. I paid what I consider a good deal. I called beforehand to know the details, So I knew about the Parking fee and the valet and I knew the two queen beds were not guaranteed. We arrived at 8am. We checked in, everyone was nice and then we left to Disney. Came back around midnight, checked in and the Front desk said they didn't know about the two queen request, but it was ok, I got the room anyway. It was all smooth. The room is great. I think it's very nice and the quality shows. I loved the room, the smell of new carpet on the 3rd floor. I slept like a baby in their bed. Very comfortable. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this awesome suite hotel. You could fit 6 people in one suite in you needed too. I would stay here again and just walk to Disneyland, because I like to walk. But if you are lazy then don't stay here. The suite has dishes, a table, a microwave, a closet and all the needs for a couple or two. I would definitely stay here again. Cool. read more

Nice rooms. Very comfortable and perfect for a family spending a few days in the area...nice kitchenette. So, I can then only attribute the two-star degrading due to the service. We paid $20+ to park (mandatory fee). Paid $5 each, one way, to take shuttle to park. A couple dollars for additional coffee grounds in our room on the second day (which is really just ridiculous). It is the principle of the matter. Already nickel and dimed by Disney, it is not fun to also experience the same at your hotel. We will not be coming back to this hotel. read more
