The technician was all kinds of awesome. I know nothing (absolute zero) about HVAC systems or how…read moreanything works. He came out examined everything and explained to me how everything worked and what was wrong. He could have taken advantage of the fact that I knew nothing and made up something to overcharge me, but he didn't. He made a diagnosis that would have cost me 3x as much, but went ahead to examine further to make sure to save me the cost, and stuck around to make sure the problem was 100% resolved They were super helpful, and when I asked about thermostat I wanted to install myself (and save me the cost of having someone do that), he told me to FaceTime him to guide me through, should I have any questions. Will definitely recommend these guys.

Turns out the AC unit needed to be replaced and he was upfront with me about my options and cost and was ultimately able to work on replacing the whole unit the following weekend (on a Saturday at that!). I had a couple of questions and minor issues after the install and Mike and his team (Kurt-- thanks again!) followed up immediately and came back out and took care of it. So all in all, it was great service at a a reasonable price and I would use them again for any future work I have and would most certainly recommend them to anyone who needed AC work done.

This company and family (3rd generation?) have been in the area for many years. Small "mom and pop"…read morebusiness where you matter. My family (parents and now me) have been using them for at least 15 years. They replaced the unit in a house my parents were selling. Replaced the unit in their (not so) new house after a few years. Continue to service the later unit. My personal experience with Gee has also found them trustworthy. They keep nursing along the unit in a rental properly that has a slow leak in it. Never try to upsale me, they show up when they say they will, are usually available for service that day if tenant calls and says unit isn't working right. This is a relief to me being too far away to handle things myself.

We called Gee Heating and Air because our A/C stopped working. After their visit, we were told we…read moreneeded a complete system replacement at a cost of nearly $29,000. No repair options were offered. Wanting a second opinion, we called another company. They diagnosed the issue as a blown fuse, replaced it, and our system was back up and running. What concerns me most is that we are a family with a young child, and at no point was there any attempt to troubleshoot or make a simple repair before recommending an extremely expensive replacement. It felt more like a sales call than a service call. I understand that HVAC systems sometimes do need to be replaced, but homeowners deserve an honest diagnosis and reasonable repair options before being presented with a $29,000 proposal. It's difficult not to question the integrity of a recommendation when a blown fuse is mistaken for a $29,000 replacement. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage anyone facing a major recommendation from this company to seek a second opinion before making such a significant financial decision.
