They saved the visit. This was my first time going here. Had tooth pain near a past root canal. Dr Hadad had perhaps the most lacking bedside manners in all I've come across of every sort of doctor's appointment. Just asking simple questions earned his ire. I just asked questions, didn't ramble or anything, just asking about my options and his tone became extremely hostile and agitated for some reason. The dental assistant got me another dentist, apologizing for the rudeness and it was a good thing because he could sense I was about to go off. The dentist who came to replace him was extremely kind and courteous, a far cry from Dr. Hadad. Front desk also unprofessional -- when a male worker could not get ahold of CVS to send my prescription, he decided he wasn't going to do his job and after trying two different CVS's and rudely stated "I can't just keep calling all these stores for you"?? He decided to not do his job that day and said that I just need to come back in the office if i wanted my prescription. I decided to deal with the pain and infection instead. Overall, this business was a waste of my time, gas, money and energy. It's clear that some staff and doctors are kind, but there are some that go against the vision this place wishes to portray and it ruins the experience for the ones who are actually nice. I don't believe Dr. Hadad's presence among the staff is to the benefit of the dentistry's reputation, and neither are staff members who are not willing to do their jobs and get customer's prescriptions to their pharmacy. I would recommend this place as long as you see any other doctor and don't need a prescription filled, because you won't get help. As for me, I won't be going back.

Although we haven't seen the dentist yet, I'm sure our experience will be good being that last time I was here, it was a great experience and the doctor was friendly and patient. After waiting a short time, my husband was called back. What I don't understand is why take Temps and the necessary precautions against covid and still treat people like they have it? When it was time to go back, they would only allow my husband and not me stating the doctor would be upset if an extra person was in the room when he came in. 1 other person isn't going to hurt anything especially when I'm his wife... That really upsets me and I was told by one of the dental male dental assistants he would ask the doctor if it was okay and let me know after getting teeth impressions of my husband... well he never came back out to let me know. At this point, covid is not even out of hand like it used to be and I feel like doctors' offices are trying to use covid as an excuse to minimize people in the room and that's the case, let it be that. The dental assistant was jokingly rude about it and didn't seem to care at all. Even stated I knew he wasn't going to come back out. So I told him I was upset with him and he let me know he didn't care. Not a good representation of the company

Actual cash on my apple wallet. When I mentioned that i was there two days prior and paid the exact same way, she didn't care to fix it and I paid it just to be done with it. Its only 2.26 more but thats not the point. The point is why am i getting charged to use cash... i had an appointment at 4:30 to get a tooth pulled. I was there on time. Got my mouth numbed at 4:50 and waited until 5:30 for someone to come do the procedure. Apparently the doctor that did the anesthesia was supposed to do the procedure but he left 10mins after he gave me the anesthesia. The doctor that ended up doing my procedure didn't even know i was in the office. I had also waited a long time to get taken care of for my cleaning two days prior. I loved Mint when i first started going there but practice has really gone downhill. I will be looking for a new dentist.

I needed an affordable place to receive dental care, and this wasn't it. Their website says "we…read morework with you, we are affordable don't worry, make an appointment" At my first appointment they did a bunch of X-rays. And then the dentist came in and said my teeth were too bad to clean today and that my bite was messed up and I needed Invisalign. I politely explained that I wasn't going to be able to afford Invisalign, and she said "don't worry we can open up a credit line", as if I was just dying to go into debt over dental luxuries I can't afford. They printed out a treatment plan, and scheduled me a cleaning. The office manager person walked me through the bullet points and had me sign it. It was very expensive even after the discount I bought for $99. Hundreds of dollars for the cleaning, and thousands for the cavity fillings. I haven't had a proper cleaning in a couple years and I really wanted to get one done so I sucked it up and scheduled it. I said "let's just do the cleaning for now" and they once again offered me a credit line. On the cleaning day, they did a deep clean and got underneath my gums and I'm glad they did that. It wasn't horrendously painful but I was having discomfort and I could tell the hygienist was getting frustrated by me. I was trying my hardest to sit still and follow instructions and it definitely felt like she had zero patience. Too much liquid filled up my throat and I coughed and she was upset because I might spit on her or something. At the end she requested a 4 month follow up , and I said I probably wouldn't be able to afford another cleaning for a while, and she told me how irresponsible that was. Like obviously I would love more regular dental care. It ended with her reminding me once again they could open up a credit line. It really felt like they were trying to get me to go into debt over the dental care and it seems like they're trying to trick and extract money from low income patients who don't know better. They really were advising me to go thousands of dollars in debt on Invisalign. As for the cavities, a local family dentist office nearby me offered to fill those cavities for around 1/4 the cost Affordable Dental Care Quoted. The receptionist with red hair was super nice and friendly so I wanna shout her out though.

On top of that, they said I'd need a deep cleaning that would cost $300 after insurance, even though I've never paid for cleanings with my current coverage. To top it off, the dentist informed me that after all those crowns, she would need to whiten my teeth -- it honestly felt like I was sitting through a sales pitch, not a dental exam. I left the office in tears, overwhelmed and scared. Thankfully, I went for a second opinion at a reputable dentist and was told I have zero cavities and only need one crown for an old filling, which my insurance would cover. I will never return to Lilburn Family Dentistry and would strongly encourage others to get a second opinion before agreeing to any treatment plan from this office.
