They also carry some cute bandanas and bows from local companies in SF and from small businesses located in Sausalito. Love that they carry local products. SPACE: Good sized pet store with products for dogs and cats. The front has a cute dog house and patch of pet grass. SERVICE: The cashier working was very nice and explained some of the natural treats that we had questions on. He also gave my dog a couple of small treats from the counter, which was really sweet. I take my diva of a Basset Hound -- Boopki, aka Slinky Dog, aka the Queen of Sass -- to Woodlands Pet Food and Treats, and Mary always treats her like canine royalty. Boopki is not what you'd call "low maintenance." She's 50% ears, 100% attitude, and her idea of a bath is lying dramatically in protest while sighing like she's in a Victorian novel. But Mary? Mary is the Basset Whisperer. She somehow manages to charm Boopki into the tub with the grace of a seasoned diplomat and the tenderness of a gourmet chicken treat. Every time Boopki leaves, she's not just clean -- she's glowing. She smells like a lavender field blessed by unicorns and looks like she just stepped off a doggy runway in Milan. And Mary always sends her home with a wagging tail, a soft coat, and zero drama (well, Boopki still tries to milk it for sympathy, but that's showbiz, baby). Woodlands is lucky to have Mary. Both Jose and Don was so patient with me and my questions. I wanted to try some of their products, but was concerned about finding parking and they suggested that I could purchase the items online, and they would run it out to me when I arrived. I ordered online and when I got their called the store, and Don literally ran out of the store to hand my items to me! But that's not the amazing part.... When I got home and examined the items (bone broth and digestive probiotics) I noticed the probiotics were in pill form when I ordered the powdered version. I thought to myself, oh no biggie I suppose I can just crush it up and mix it with the food. However, there's no instructions on how much/many to give to my dog according to weight. So I called again and asked and told them I originally purchased the powdered form of probiotics, but I got the pill.. They looked over my order and apologized for the mix up. And Uber delivered my correct order for me the same day!!.... I WILL BE GOING BACK TO JEFFREY'S when I can. Pup is on the mend. The delivery took forever cuz I think my Uber driver got lost or something... Not Jeffrey's fault LOL!

The business called me to change my appointment, of which I made time to do so. I unfortunately had to change the time I changed to (within an hour of making the appointment), but as someone else pointed out it is IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone to pick up the phone. So I left a message. They also sent me texts to try to resolve the issue. So I reponded. Someone eventually called me to schedule my appointment to 10am. I then got a TEXT asking me if I want to schedule for 9am. I said, no I have the appointment for 10am. When I went in, I was told my appointment was at 9. I showed the texts that PROVED that I had a 10am scheduled and I was told it was MY fault, too bad they're booked. This isn't the first mix up here, so it's not an isolated incident. If they can't get this right, or customer service right I wonder how my dog is being treated while he gets his haircut... Time to find a new place.

Erin and Dave - the two founders of this business - are very approachable and super responsive, which is something that I really appreciate. At first, we only had one dog (Momo) and before they accepted her into the pack, Dave came by our house to "interview" her. I really enjoyed meeting him and listening to the philosophy behind the business. Later, when we got a puppy (Málaga), he came over again and checked her "compatibility" as well. What I really enjoy is getting email notifications when they come to pick up the dogs as well as when they drop them off. Sometimes they even leave little notes, such as this one: "Momo and Malaga did super today! Malaga didn't pull hardly at all, and Momo was very easy as always. We had a fun hike :)" Just recently, they also introduced dog boarding and we had a very good experience with that as well. Eddie - who also walks our dogs throughout the week - stayed at our house, while we enjoyed a few days of "kids free" time! He kept us informed with pictures every day - we loved it.

I went to see a doctor to make sure that the puncture wounds and bleeding weren't going to be a problem. At the time I was bitten the owner the company let me know he would be happy to help. A couple of months later, the bill for under $200 arrived and I asked David L to pay it as agreed; but he was singing a very different tune. The owner then decided not to pay the bill, called it a 'scratch', and insisted that it was my fault. Use this company at your own risk.

I called Irene the owner and made an appointment online. Today was the big day. Irene was absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough about her and the fantastic job she did on grooming my Felix. She was able to trim his nails, bathe and condition his coat. She trimmed some areas he needed on his backside which makes it easier for him to stay clean. All her products were high end. He was relaxed enough to allow this to happen. I was shocked. My husband and I couldn't do it. He has never been groomed. This is a beautiful shop and I highly recommend this place. Irene is a true cat whisperer.
