We had a very nice, relaxing pedicure at Pearl Nails. We were given a service menu to choose the type of pedicure, which I really appreciated as I don't always receive that option at some nail salons. We got the deluxe, which is a little more elevated experience. We got a nice long pedicure, which included exfoliation, mask, and moisturizer. A hot towel at the end too. I appreciated that the nail tech took her time on my toes, cuticles, and feet. Everyone was very nice and the massage chairs were great. Pricing fit the experience and we will go back. read more

I have visited Pearl Nails Harbor in Coralville twice. The first time I visited my experience was good; It was my first time getting dip and I loved it. The dip looked natural and healthy, not like an acrylic or too thick/chunky. My second time visiting, I was seen by a different technician. The second appointment lasted over 2 hours for a dip service, manicure not included. I have been getting dip at several salons in the DesMoines area for 5 months and have never been seen for more than an hour. The dip was laid very poorly. It is thick, chunky, and you can see the drill/file lines. A few weeks later some lifting is expected but my dip is also cracking and breaking the natural nail underneath that has taken a lot of time to grow out. Even though my first appointment was decent, after the second, I will not be returning. read more

reasonably priced. they spent a long time making sure my nails were even & properly removed my previous dip manicure which I appreciated. shop was clean and the staff was very friendly & helpful. my nails feel great & well cared for. they didn't over layer or use uv to rush drying. I am so glad that I found Yo Yo. Unfortunately she left KQ and I was not sure where she went but I FOUND HER! I was so happy to have her take care of me, my husband and our daughter for her wedding. Unfortunately my daughter went the morning of To galaxy nail and they did a horrific job. Yo-yo and The rest of the staff at pearl were wonderful and redid her nails and did an amazing job. We all looked spectacular for the wedding. The best part was there was no way that they were going to let us leave until we were satisfied which is how any nail salon should be treating their customers. I highly recommend them. We had such a fun morning relaxing in the salon and the staff was so kind to us and offered us drinks and candy and constantly was checking on how we were doing.
